Watching this just made my blood pressure lower. Thanks for the rainy lllama peacefulness. I have both a cat and a dog and adore them both for different reasons.
I love dogs but decided as single mom to spend time training my son instead of a dog, so I always had cats and realized how much I truly live cats when they past at 19 years old, 80+ years in human years.
I’m a dog person just because I’m allergic to cats.
And what a fun time at the Llama ranch and I loved the peaceful edit on this one. Chefs kiss internet friend.
Nice vid! Looked so nice and relaxing. Years ago, my wife and I did a "Lunch with a Llama" at a ranch just outside of Flagstaff, Az. The hosts had prepared the "fixings' for sandwiches and drinks, and we then hiked a ways into the woods with a llama. The male host was the guide for that day and explained the surrounding area geography, as well as tell us about what type of animal a llama is. We had a lot fun!

I came, because I thought you bought a new bike. I stayed for the llamas and the pasta, yum. Dogs, obviously...man's best friend!
This may be the most restful Amanda video ever. Forget the harangue over the V Twin which I was going to include as my Super Tenere weeps in the garage. The llama just made this your best ever. It is a complete life twist that Oregon offered a sleep with the llamas after Texas didn't have a spot for you. The Karma was beautiful. Seeing you in the pasture with all the wool producing four footed friends made it worthwhile. And most assuredly a dog guy. (I experienced a stroke since your last vid which causes me to do a lot of editing...forgive the typos. Hope to be riding again soon.)
Definitely a dog person. We've had several cats over the years and loved each; but, dogs are a constant in our lives. Australian Shepherds since 1990.
I was a sr in high school when 9/11 happened. Seeing it he footage over and over again really took a toll on me mentally and I didn’t sleep for a few days (nothing compared to those living in the city or who had someone die that day, but even watching Titanic gave me nightmares). Finally, my dad set up camp in my horse pasture and it was the first night I was able to sleep soundly in a week…hearing them grazing all around me. Nature is an amazing healer!
This video made me super happy. Such a peaceful, relaxing and somewhat hypnotic setup sequence! Awesome stuff Amanda. Also, we are a cat house all the way!

What a fun place! Looks like a near-perfect moto-camping day & evening. Striving to get a few more of those in before the season ends here in Colorado. I get along fine with cats but I am more of a dog person.
Always considered myself a dog person but I care for a dozen or more cats that have adopted me as their human. I believe cats can read "sucker" on your forehead so always wear a hat. I love them all, llamas too. Wonderful video. Love what you do.

Your camping kit is top notch! What do you use for washing pots after cooking?? I carry a stove but only use it for boiling water for dehydrated meals and making coffee. I'd like to cook more but am put off by the clean up.

I’ll have to claim to being a cat person but I like all critters. My retirement goal was to be a crazy cat lady with a garage full of motorcycles. The garage is full.

I don't have either but I like both cats and dogs. Camping with Lama's looks like a wonderful thing to do I may have to check it out for my self.
I like cats but I'll always be a dog person. As a baby I had a nurse dog. It's a female herding dog It was Australian Shepherd, blue heeler mix. You put the puppy with the baby and raise them together and she takes them over as her kids Mom would tell stories how she couldn't get us to be quiet couldn't figure out what we wanted and would ask pepper .peppered run right over pointed out and we'd shut up right away mom said we spoke dog long before we spoke human. Mom couldn't even spank us without locking pepper in a separate room lol I had her until I was 13. Can't wait to hear more about the Africa twin. Have fun stay safe

I love my Africa Twin. I have a 2021 base model with manual transmission. I chose it over the Adventure Sports model because the ‘21 AS model was black and white, and I really like the red, white, and blue color scheme on the AT. Also, I’m a dog person 🐕😎

Amanda you do yourself an injustice by posting your trip to patrons early and their comments are not record to the TH-cam viewers. Therefore, I taken the initiative to post my comments;
Thanks for a very professional peaceful production by a great host. It was relaxing watching you put up the canvas cover, set up the tent and do your hallmark run with the tent fly. Then showing how friendly lamas are and products made from their coats.
Putting down the entry rug and the famous table cloth and cooking your meal, which smelled great! Of course, you had to have the patter of rain hitting the canvas cover making for a wet takedown.
A great bike, the African Twin, I thought about buying one, but none were available in the Ohio area. By luck I was able to settle for new CB500X, which was better because at 79 I not sure I could pick up another 100 pounds with panniers and luggage. I hope Honda handed you the title because you are an inspiration to women that motorcycling is not a man only sport.
In conclusion I'll add a modified Irish poem, Amanda, "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always in your face. May the sun shine warm upon your back; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Great little trip. The llamas were fun to see. Had an alpaco farm near me for years. Similar wool products. Have lived with both cats and dogs. Prefer living with the cats but playing with the dogs.

Another great video, I (and my wife) really enjoy your style of video production. The Africa Twin is a really fun bike especially with the DCT once you get use to the automatic. I almost bought one but ended up getting the NC750x DCT ( in between the CBX500 and Africa Twin).

This was so much fun. It is great that Honda gave you the bike to ride. I will be curious to hear if you like the DCT or if it feels like not shifting takes something away from the riding experience.

Please look into lone riders tent.its a tent with garage for keeping the bike out of the rain.side room could be used for shower or toilet as well.so much nicer to ride a dry bike.that cycle seems better suited for you
