The graphics were retro 😂 honestly rugby pass worked completely fine for me. It was free to access for UK, we ultimately want younger audiences to watch the sport who do use apps and internet regularly. A game at 7am against Japan isn’t exactly going to lead to a bunch of new watchers just accidentally stumbling on it first thing in the morning channel flicking on the telly.
If Leitchs studs were in the turf, it was likely to be a career ending injury, and it was only luck that they weren’t, don’t think Ewels is a bad egg at all, but the red card, and whatever ban comes from it, totally warranted and necessary.
Red card not harsh at all. Deliberate and cowardly attempt to hurt the player. Could have caused him a serious life changing injury - no place for that in the game IMHO.
That is quite an accusation to say it was a deliberate attempt to hurt (and by many accounts would not be in character if it was) - certainly could have caused a career-ending injury, and we are all glad to see the warrior Leitch play on.
@@shonunezekiel People like you are possibly part of the problem when you defend thuggery. Either you’re naive or you’ve never played rugby and you talk in theory. Ewels is no saint and he knew what he was doing that why he went for the knee and not the man.
@@markwt2680 I am not defending thuggery - I am pointing out that you might be jumping to conclusions by saying it was a deliberate attempt by Ewels to hurt (by which I assume you mean injure) another player.
Ewels was in at the side, out of control, off his feet, no arms and executed with a high level of danger. Red all day long. Dog shot? Absolutely. Someone who shouldn’t be in the team trying too hard to show he should be in the team. Again.
My RugbyPass TV experience was great, it all worked perfectly (I wonder if the folks who had issues hadn't actually joined up prior to the actual day ? just a thought. Any Rugby experience which is free to view from a fan perspective gets a BIG "thumbs up" from myself. As a game it should be accessible to all regardless of their financial status and age, young or old. Its a great way to promote the game as well as respecting every fan. I was very grateful.
I joined two days prior from New Zealand, only to discover that I couldn't watch it here, but no one was showing it. Thanks you tube for the highlights
It was ok but the streaming quality kept dropping. I just think TH-cam live (which the rfu did for the England A game) might have been a more proven platform with apps for more TV and would have had advertising that the rfu could take a cut of
Get stuffed Andy, I suppose Darcy Swain's well quantified Dogshot on Quinn Tupaea in 2022 was totally fine too eh? What an absolute plonk. For example Quinn was starting to take names and he clearly hasn't regained that kind of form since. That was the kind of outright garbage equating to straight up intentional assualt you don't want people in the game doing. If it's intentional a six game ban isn't enough imo
Why do you have to bind and then engage in a set scrum, but get a running free shot on a defenceless man at a ruck, whose leg could be stuck between two bodies on the floor? If Ewels had had to get to the ruck, stop, bind and then push, he wouldn’t have lost his head and Leitch wouldn’t have been in danger of losing his leg.
@@Sunshinez732along with France we have the biggest talent pool in world rugby. Jones did a good job but this isn’t Scotland picking from two professional teams.
Rugby Pass commentary was amateurish. I could not work out why we had so many back rowers on the park. The commentary team totally missed Earl at centre. Rubbish.
This is the one issue I have with rugby union - rules/“laws” changes. The game that is being played today is in no way the same game as in 2015 or 2019. There is no yearly comparison anymore, no “defending champions” anymore. I’m a league fan too, union has incorporated some major league rules, the game is completely changed by this. It’s frustrating. Sad.
I think Eddie Jones is perfect for Japan, they produce good front rowers, nippy scrum halfs and ball playing 12s. Plus the attack in League 1 is at the forefront which EJ likes
Tried to watch in Italy but it wasn't even shown as on Rugby Pass. Was this due to my location? I do have a VPN but I had it linked to Spain at the time. Maybe Rugby Pass and Big Jim should have explained this limitation. Watched it on another site anyway so no Biggie.
No streaming issues. Honestly though the studio punditry was disappointing and the graphics looked like it was coming straight out of 2003. The general experience seemed a bit amateurish for me.
Everything works perfectly on RP, i actually loved the 'retro' graphics, watched Jims walk the talk with eddie the night before thought the interview was great fromboth of them n all
Great game enjoyed watching it on rugby pass no problem here in Ireland and enjoyed the commentary too. Will have to be on the ball from the start to beat NZ or it could be a long day.
I feel completely disrespected by Eddie jones how dare you coach my country and then claim your students who let’s face it most of em ain’t Japanese or half as invested as they were in 2019, say are going to take England down to the wire…how dare you Eddie!

Two red cards in consecutive tests, that's historic, he's a mongrel
agreed, however if you watch it carefully ML moves to evade the tackle, Ewels was unlucky more than careless
Is 'the wire' a bar in Tokyo?
Ewels is huge for Bath, deserved to be recalled on form, but ffs Charlie!
Definite red. Not fair to Ewells to pick him.

That roadies getting a bit cocky in'he 😂😂

So far from legal; i don't think I've ever seen a more sideways clear out attempt
Yeah it was disgusting, no way you could say otherwise. Repeat offender, don't want players like that in an England shirt!
Agree so much why ewels is in the squad over joe batley ruisi tuima and in the squad over Alex Cole’s doesn’t make sense to me
💯
Jim is absolutely on the money regarding Ewels. That's about as red as you can get.

How can Andy defend that red? Knows his agent or something?

Goodey ticking all of his classic Goodey boxes in this one 🥱
Andy is spot on regarding Eddie Jones coaching prowess, he's a spent force and has left a bitter taste in the mouth. You reap what you sow.
Same as Gats, unfortunately. Geniuses in their time but haven't evolved.
Jose mourinho off rugby

Watched on VPN from Dubai, it was a little glitchy, but still able to watch - might have another sneaky go tonight
England played well i thought, the loosies were excellent. They have a good chance in the first test especially
Ewels is vastly overrated. He’s a thug and should never get anywhere near another England squad.
Everytime someone goes to speak Goodey interupts them. I like the bloke but let other people speak man.
It didn’t work internationally and there was nothing to say that it wouldn’t
