I've only been piping for about 3 years, but I doubt I'll ever get to see something this incredible in person. Amazing tradition and history, I love my pipes. I'm of Itallian and Polish descent, but my spirit is very Scottish!! :)
traditions mean a lot especially during these trying times. We have to try to be emotionally strong have to hold on to our culture and our belief systems. Everyone has a God-given right to this.
one of my girlfriends went home two weeks ago for good, she was here in the States about 40 years best of luck to her now she will be with her kids and the rest of her family , she belongs with them now
I grew up as a kid listening and watching these on tv back in the day... and joined the 'Boys Brigade ' as a result... good memories for me... Tu Meke! 😛
I am an englishman living in scotland, here just a simple good morning from a stranger can still take me by surprise in london dreary faces is all i ever saw
Im 100 percent american and an us army vetern. I love Scotland..if i ever leave the usa to see another country it will be Scotland.god bless scotland. You are the home of the brave also!!
When I was kid I was Scout. And when we went on. Week long scouting trips we had a guy who would play the pipes. At 5 am to wake up the camp. That was 50 years ago and still love these bands. Well dressed and well played.
SAOR ALBA GU BRATH. We love and respect, how the Fins had to fight the russ, my father told me we should have helped the Fins. Instead we sent our sons to die in the wrong war. Seven of my folk died in that war . never again will there be brother wars. SAOR ALBA GU BRATH
Scottish culture is my favorite, its history is on par with Greek mythology, with the difference that the scottish heroes existed and fought and died for their country and their people.
It stirs my Scots blood too! ❤️❤️❤️ Brings back memories of my mom playing her LP records of the pipes & drums of the Black Watch on a wind up gramophone!! Those were the good old days ❤️❤️❤️
Can you just imagine a small town high school team marching thru Main Street, with everyone from said town lining the street, to this before a home game? It would be awesome!!! The pride of the local community!
It has always stirred something deep, deep inside of me. I feel men must be part of a group, they must march to music and be prepared for battle. But the battle is for our families, our community our way of life.
Before health and safety...back in the fifties, sixties, and seventies...those pipe sergeant majors...would have been hurling those staffs high into the sky ...twisting and and turning, and all caught with precision by the staff sergeant major...it was a sight to behold...sadly now...a lost art!!!
@@keithlordofalbascotland3371 Indeed, you're right. I would like to tour Scotland with my friends and our motorbikes. Maybe it will work once. Greetings from germany. 🏴👋👍💯🇩🇪
This beautiful music never gets old or less amazing (my cat thinks otherwise.) I bought a comfy, cozy pull-over with a discreet Piper and "Scotland" embroidered on it at a thrift store recently. Many folks have asked if I've been there and I just tell them it's on my "bucket list". As I'm not getting any younger, I'll see you soon! Happy new year and God bless Scotland.
At one gig our Drum Major almost ran down a chap who didn't move fast enough, it was so funny here was a band walking towards him but didn't get out of the way, not sure what the chap thought would happen :)

ah...thought I had missed this one. dern youtube not putting my subs on the front page when they come out. most awesome, can't wait for the next one. beautiful scenery and weather.
I’m not certain what could be any better than this, especially if you live in a small West Texas town made up of lots of McConughey’s, McClarrens and McCutcheons and just for the record my best friend is named Humada mine is and always will be O’Reilly, shorted legally to Riley by my great grandparents who had recently moved here from Antrim, County rural Belfast area.
I am not of Scottish decent but even as a kid I loved the sound of the drums and bagpipes.

I was a drum majorette when I was at college, many years ago. We used to march to a pipe band. I could follow a pipe band all day.
I am Neapolitan, but when I see this march so full of harmony and passion it makes me feel Scottish.
😉😉👍👍❤️
As an Englishman I love this.
The UK and it’s media should show more of this; it’s great.
I am an englishman living in scotland, here just a simple good morning from a stranger can still take me by surprise in london dreary faces is all i ever saw
This sounds amazing always makes me goosebump. All the best to you up there during this pandemic. Greetings from Indonesia.
Impressive display of massed bands. Love the sunny day! Special shout to Roland Stuart as leading Drum Major and all participating DM.
So much respect for this tradition. So proud. Never let it die out 👌👌👌
Miss these wonderful pipe bands, more of this needed to cheer us all right now! Fabulous joy to watch again.

This is awesome. Nothing like the sound of bagpipes to stir your soul.
Scottish culture is my favorite, its history is on par with Greek mythology, with the difference that the scottish heroes existed and fought and died for their country and their people.
I totally agree
Coming from a half Welshman half Englishman, you can’t beat the Scots pipes and drums. Spectacular.
Indeed. Quite agree.
Having Scottish on one side of the family and Irish on the other this just makes me feel at home.
It stirs my Scots blood too! ❤️❤️❤️ Brings back memories of my mom playing her LP records of the pipes & drums of the Black Watch on a wind up gramophone!! Those were the good old days ❤️❤️❤️
I like the proud scot ich highlanders, the discipline, Uniform and tradition.Greetings in honor of Germany.
I wish I have a team like this in my home town. Divine God bless them.
Grew up in cape Breton and love the sound of the pipes. Thank you.
yeah i born/bred in Australia but remain very proud of my Scottish Ancestory (aka Aberdeen & Edingburgh)...my "Clan" being "Hamilton"
Just Grand!! There`s nothing more stirring or proud or dignified ,than a Scottish Band on parade.
Great keep marching! your Scottish decendents in America and elsewhere love it!!!
Can you just imagine a small town high school team marching thru Main Street, with everyone from said town lining the street, to this before a home game? It would be awesome!!!
The pride of the local community!
Tradition lives on......❤❤❤❤
@madzoga. I'm take the band any way I could get it. Forget the home game.
Ein Traum diese Schotten die schaue ich mir noch einmal live an!
Ganz großes Kino Klasse!
That has got to be the sharpest pipe/drum major I have ever seen in any marching band
What more can anyone say that is simply a treat that can't be beat bloody wonderful
Love the Scottish, beautiful culture and people
You'll kill me with the sounds of the pipes. Really makes me experiment deep emotions. An Argie.
It has always stirred something deep, deep inside of me. I feel men must be part of a group, they must march to music and be prepared for battle. But the battle is for our families, our community our way of life.
Why does everything look so beautiful in these videos of marching massed bands in Scotland? :)
Before health and safety...back in the fifties, sixties, and seventies...those pipe sergeant majors...would have been hurling those staffs high into the sky ...twisting and and turning, and all caught with precision by the staff sergeant major...it was a sight to behold...sadly now...a lost art!!!
I’m Scottish on my father’s side. Love the bagpipes as well ‼️
And these are moments that make the trombone and tubas of Englanistan feel so inadequate. Alba Gu Brath
If I heard this coming o'er the hill, I'd retreat.
Can't tell how proud I feel
They can march down my street doing this.....ANYTIME....certainly give the neighbours something to talk about 😁🙌🏼🌹
What’s your address, we will make it happen ☺️
I hope this wil lives forever!
I loooove it! Hi Scotland...from Québec
