Thank you
Hope you have a lovely week
I've holidayed in Scarborough for the last 65ish years and to this day still going, your latest video will be good to rewatch during the long cold winter.
I love your videos, as a limited mobility person they help me plan my trips, especially the scarborough ones. Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for watching my channel it really does mean a lot
I loved visiting Scarborough on holiday a a child in the 90s, we stayed in a guest house in Alma Square, guest house no longer there , we went here for a long weekend last year stopping in a house with parents, sister, brother law in niece. Love Scarborough I also remember the school trip to Scarborough
Ahh Alma Square - I’ve stayed in that square before and was very nice
@@GimbalWalkTV guest house was called Tenby or something similar
Nobody seems to film walking up the Esplanade to the Clock tower stunning views all the way plus the Italian gardens and the Rose garden
Brilliant, what a superb video, would love to visit Scarborough sometime. Never been. Looks a fantastic place 10 out of 10 !
It really is!
I remember visiting Scarborough as a child in the 90s and spotting Rik Mayall filming something near the Cliff Lift! Always wanted to revisit.
Thankyou for another fab video of my beloved Scarborough. The journey from Scotland and all the hills are too much for me now.
Thank you 🙏
My favourite place 👍like you said there's something for everyone. Can't beat Scarbados
Interesting video 😊
Thank you!
Great video thanks for sharing 👍.
Thank you 🙏
Interesting video!!! Mainly because I've visited Scarbados exactly 4,877 times, and never once been in the town centre.
I was the same until recently
damn same day i went bowling in Olympia sadly an hour before this
You could have been in it!
@@GimbalWalkTV ye i didn't see me tho
Thanks for that.
❤️❤️
A real shame no one goes in the water. I visited here from Canada earlier in the year and enjoyed the day trip from York. But Whitby is the one I will return to.
Very beautiful place
Great job! When was this filmed? Are you heading to Whitley Bay next? Do hope so...
Filmed just a couple of days back
Whitby on the way!
The seagulls nesting at the grand are mostly kittiwakes and are a protected species and cannot be disturbed
The starbucks on huntriss is new right? We stayed next door to that building in some self service apartments, gorgeous interior
Yes brand new I think
I’d not seen it before
Is the wickets hotel still there? It’s beside the cricket ground I stayed there 49 years ago
I attended a large conference Centre on the seafront in the late 70s. Anyone know if it is still there and what is was called. Thank you
I’ve been watching your videos Scarborough Bridlington mablethorpe Skegness etc and burnam on sea is worst than them places. That’s got to be a whind up😂
Which do you think is worst?
Dear Gimbal, your chanel was very beautiful, now these exaggerated captions don't help, they take up too much space and distract from following the images... this is my opinion, from someone who has been following your channel for a few years...Hugs...
Hello
How do you mean?
I’ve always had caption on screen
I would have to say Skegness
❤️
A shadow of its former self. A great shame what Scarborough council has done & allowed to be done to the town. Used to go all the time, not any more.
It’s fab!
@@GimbalWalkTVSorry, what they did to the Futurist (& Mermaid) was the final straw for me. Biggest theatre outside London & they destroyed it after many years of neglect. That after decades of destruction they've overseen on North Bay, used to be able to spend an entire day there on its own.
There's much more but I'll spend my hard earned elsewhere.
@@stepheng8779 fair enough!
