    that jet is gorgeous.
    I would love a large, adult collectible styled, jet. like a 747 but scaled up much higher than normal city ones (not minifig scaled though of course.),

      I totally agree!! have u seen bigplanes customs? he does gigantic airplane models and 2 of his 737s are on LEGO ideas and in review stage, so maybe we will get a large jet soon.

      Tbh, I would really love a minifigure size 747. Not too big, but not too small, enough room for heaps of seats and designed with lego first, business and economy seating. So that you can have minifigures seated in your classes. I just think it takes too much room if it’s that big.

      only way to do it would be to fully brick build the Fuselage instead of using the large preformed pieces, which to get the full, nice curve, would take a significant amount of parts.

    That clutch power on the main gear could be representative of the pilot having put max brakes upon landing a little bit past the touchdown zone - entirely possible, but not recommended landing procedure! A little potential story behind the stuck gear.

    I definitely need to get this set to do some modding to. It's unfortunate that the Black Box had to be removed, but maybe in NJC, airlines never have accidents, so there's no need for a 2x4 :) I really like that gear design, and even the engines are done quite nicely! I've never been super happy with how many of the LEGO set airline engines look, so your modification was quite welcome!
    Now 1 question - where do the minifigs store their luggage? And carry-on? Aaaah...I can see this being a never-ending modification for me - probably end up with something completely out of scale and waaaaay too tall to look nice, but I'm looking forward to tryin' it! Thanks for the inspiration, Jang!

    You should have made the fold down seat with only on clip holding it in and a 1x2 modified plate with a bar, a round inverted tile, and a 1x2 regular tile so that once you fold ot down, you can slide it to the side to make room for the figure

  • @jajos1001
    @jajos1001 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    For making freely rotatinh wheels without chaging the look of it use those pieces, in this order: battle droid body -> holow stud with bar hole with stud directed to the droid's body -> tire (same as you've used) -> regular stud. The tire will be between the flanges of holow stud and stud.
    And btw I hate this new cockpit piece. The proportions are just...wrong. If I were you I'd try to make it more round (whole fuselage) because now sides look tooooo flat.
