Don't beat yourself up about the state of your city, JANG. Considering the amount of high-quality of content you keep producing, both here and on Twitch, it is amazing you have any time for building on your own at all. Btw - I really like that there is a mix of new and what you refer to as "dated" vehicles and build styles in your city. It makes it look more real and lived-in. Like that track geometry vehicle. It's perfect!
I really valued the vehicles review: not only did it provide a close up of those, but in the immediate background it also provided a great preview of the life of the different minifigs in the city. There were a lot of scenes I'm pretty sure I never noticed before!
There are a tonne of your MOC cars that I'd love to have in my collection, I would buy them day one if they were Lego kits. My era is four-wide (I still have my black car with grey cowboy hat guy) and for me they look the best in minifig scale. Also, your city is amazing and an endless joy for me seeing your cars, trains, boats, the zoo and buildings. I enjoy your reviews so much too and watch them all many times, but if your city needs your time, then I for one support you entirely for that 😃
the big variety and great designs are truly inspiring. esp the trains are beautiful. Favourites for me: 2:08 Sail Boat 16:19 Passenger Train 18:56 Long nosed engine 24:42 Crane thing (i think the retro futurism works very well in the setting, so i wouldnt worry about it being "outdated tech") 30:36 Red cab semi 44:55 Small car lots of other great stuff, like the orange minibuss, dump truck, and construction vehicles. but i thought i would highlight those that gave me most joy
I'm saving this video for inspiration. The cars, trains, boats. And I love your space/mech/industrial area. So many cool individual builds I want to try to replicate. Don't beat yourself up, and don't worry about doing the city quickly. I want to watch you over the years doing quality work finishing it up. Good things take time.

These are great videos! I love seeing all the little details and hearing your thoughts about the builds. More videos or pictures at this mini-fig eyelevel view would be awesome too (as a video intro/outro maybe?). That SP locomotive with the brick built stripes might be my favorite on your layout. The shaping really captures that style of engine well and the stripes are IMO a perfect combination of prototype look and "yup, that's Lego!".
Your whole city is amazing. As someone who simply combines the Icons modular sets with City street plates in my own city, I envy your creativity to do an entire city MOC.

Love to see you make it all on scale. Yes the vehicles look less accurate, but just because they can not hold that many minifigs, but it is a better solution than making it bigger, which makes cars too big for the streetplates, Besides that: 80's Lego also did it like you do. It makes a Lego city so more alive. My own town's vehicles were all too large. Last weekend I disassembled it, because it became all too messy and took too much space. Maybe I do it all over, maybe I sell it. Not sure yet. Till then I just watch your videos to see how to do it right :) I hope I learn.
ngl your short bus is more realistic than you think in my city in the netherlands we actualy have those sizes of bus these days its the new electric buses they are just shorter since they need less space for engines

For what its worth the Police Train is still amazing, even if it was made 10 years ago.

A lot of the cars you disliked,actually looked really good, others can just use a simple modification but don't totally get rid of them
