Join my friends and I as we snowshoe to a natural hot springs in the middle of the wilderness. Struggling with altitude, it becomes a race before the sun sets behind the mountains.
We overnight in 20 degree weather, then wake up to a beautiful sunrise, soak in a 100 degree natural pool and journey out.
You are my heroes and my angels at 60 years old and living in the forest you do give me hope to continue to do these wonderful things. I do some of them but I haven’t done all of them and I will in the next year for sure want to continue till I am in my 70s. I am so proud of young people like you finding the right answers to life!!!

What an epic hike! You guys are in awesome shape. And the side hills with snowshoes are hard!! Having coffee while in the hot springs would be amazing.
Aww thank you! Weve actually hiked above 17,000 ft before and did better there than we did here! 😆It was just the right combo of things that did us in! Youre so right the side hills are killer! Such a good experience though. Loved every miserable moment...in retrospect. haha. And yes, highly recommend coffee in a hot springs for a bucket list item! Thank you for watching and commenting!😊

Yeah its beautiful! If you look up colorado natural hot springs you should find it. There arent very many. Its near the maroon bells.

What month did you go? Planing on going Mid October not sure if I should plan for that much snow
Mid October can be a great time. Unless there's an unusual amount of early snow the trail will likely be clear to the spring, but watch the weather and high elevation snow
