Brings back memories of postholing on that trail in late April about 30 years ago. So much more sensible for most hikers to wait until early May to allow the snow to melt first.
Wow you guys are pretty adventurous that’s quite a trek! What a great channel you’ve got going here I’d like to do some snowshoe hiking near government camp this winter in Oregon where I live.
Ive heard of government camp! I was just looking into some options when I was down there last (just a couple of weeks ago) so I think I came upon that in my research . Snowshoeing is so much fun! Winter can be so magical!
Wow what an amazing place, so freaking beautiful! And I’m so jealous of that snow! Thanks again so much for sharing Lei, and I want to try that rum drink with you guys one day, yummmmmm!😜☠️🏴☠️🍻👍
I love your videos! Looks like such a fun time!! Lmao about your ring 😅 whoops. That was a large paw print 👀 Also really digging the kit you made. That forager's bag is dope.
Haha thanks man! I actually had a shining cloth she left me and that took the black right off thankfully 😅 Yeah and those were some fresh cat prints too 😬 But there were tons of deer so we just hoped they were more interested in that. 😅 And thank you thank you!
Looks like you had a pretty successful adventure. It's on our list to get back to those springs. Haven't been there since the road washed out. Much Aloha!
If you take a bike, the hike could be a breeze! (well not so much on the bypass part, but the rest for sure.) Ive only been with the road washed out, but Im assuming its a lot less popular because of it..which is a plus 😄 Maybe itll be a whole new experience the next time! 🤙
jeeeeez that scenery looks wild!!!
washington man😍💜

Hi. Which wilderness permit is required ?
Could you please guide us?
You can book your permits through recreation.gov for the olympics. I believe the permit is for boulder creek trailhead. Happy trekking!
