    This is absolutely brilliant and exactly a kind of setup I want to put in a shot for my infinity protocol marvel fan film trailer 😁😁😁 thank you so much! 👍🏽

    Man, I gotta re-learn some math for VFX. Thank you for this amazing tutorial!

    This new way of creating things is absolutely spectacular and fun. After following your great tut, I like to believe that I understand a little bit more of Houdini work path. It's cool to see it on the screen but cooler to have it in my hand. I 3D printed it after with high details. If you wish to see it, I can send you a picture. Thanks a lot.

    You know what else you can do to take this further is to control/modulate the amplitude and frequency of the ramps with the noise or with each other. You can also use the oscillation node which is the same as ramp but explicitly sine or cosine waves

    how do you do all that in a shader ? or does that cause the losing of being infinate size (no need to be tiled) ?

      Hey Nic,
      it's a procedural shader, using curvature the to mix two materials.

    Hi, really good tutorial. How are you getting the displacement to move across the surface of the geometry in the beginning video?

      Heyhey,
      I animated the noise's offset. As far as I remember using a unified noise (which is a good bit slower but has more intricate control).
      Cheers, Mo

    How would you get rid of those artifacts? A naive subdivide doesn't seem to help much.

    whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???? how do you animate it? I followed the tutorial and there's no animation at the end.... I was let down 😞 - aside from that. Great!!!!

      you have to promote parametr into vop

    • @Entagma
      @Entagma  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can play around with the "time" in your Vop and put it into the frequency or the offset for example.
