Keep up the good work!!! Finally a car reviewer from Canada, reviewing cars/packages sold in Canada, not USA!!! and he is excellent too... 5 Star all the way!!!
yep all that technology for $16,000.00 but no air because they know you will go up to the next trim level to get the A/C. Marketing to suck you in and bump you up, it happened to me and this is my second Mazda 3 because its the best sub compact out there!
You guys are great. Unlike some others on youtube, you guys are unpretentious and modest yet confident in your knowledge. Keep it up guys. One thing though... I noticed a rather significant mistake at 3:58. I think you should reupload this vid with a correction text box.
Nice review Zack. Nice looking car, Mazda did a nice job on it. The only thing that looks kind of odd is the Nav screen on top of the dash. It looks like they forgot about putting one in and just stuck it on the dash.
base price does not include AC, that is another $1600 plus $100 tax, on Mazda's website right now it says it will cost $24962 for a base auto, all in. that is quite dear...
Glad to hear that Zorro....To me that means that there is enough weight transfer on the rear suspension to get the same great turning into the corner I have with my 2005 Mazda3.....rather than the standard running off the road straight into the ditch.: the front end first. I don`t experience the squat because I do all my braking before entering the turn and control the rear end with the accelerator coming out....99% of the people on the road leave the pivot point ..waaayyyyy too late....braking
Its 35k all in if you tick off all the packages for the highest trim. Thats crazy, all other competitors when you go for the highest trim and tick off the packages its not more than 31k. Don't get me wrong, I like the mazda 3, but will never ever get one. BTW keep up the good work. Love this site as it is for Canada
I Almost went with the S model, and probably could have got it for 24 to 25k. Really don't need any packages to go along with it I think. My I Grand model is pretty good, and the only thing I would ask for really would be the stronger engine that the S comes with.
Shifter well hidden. Does the center tachometer come with a manual transmission...it does in France....how about in Canada?..waiting for over 3 decades already..to get at least the central tachometer you show here... Available in Canada??? and if not now then with the Diesel ...
No manual option for the bigger engine and maybe it is not really needed...still, to pay $5000+ extra for a car that goes half a second faster to 60mph may not be such a great deal....but the Diesel...yes... too bad it got held up on the emissions issue in the US
Finally!! An English Reviewer!! I've search all over the internet and found one, but it's in diff. language. too bad :/ Until i found this! I'm the happiest person in the HOUSE!! (for today, haha) Very Good Review Too!! Just click the Like button.
Really unfortunate Mazda Canada did not have the foresight to offer the 2.5litre engine with a 6 speed manual. They have effectively forced many buyer's hands at choosing either to go with the 2.0litre and the anemic 150hp engine or a competitor's offering. Mazda, let this be a shot across the bow; you've potentially lost a sale.
the corolla and civic have really dropped the ball in comparison to this... and then there is the hyundai elantra which is getting a little stale. time to step it up again.
I've never noticed the similarities between Mazda's new design line and Infiniti's design language, but I think you are right about the similarities. People say that Mazda has borrowed design details from all sorts of car manufactures like Alfa Romeo and Volvo, eventhough I personally cannot see Mazda's relation to Volvo aesthetically speaking. But it is clear that they have tried to enhance the body language from the SUV's of Infiniti.
Hey, car manufacturers copy each other, no big deal. If it works well, why not? Infinity created the all around view back up camera, now most high end manufacturers offer it including mercedes and Land rover.
Why is it that US citizens are the only ones who actually butcher car names? If it truly was "mahz-da", then it would be spelt with an "h" in the name. If broken up, it becomes quite clear as to how to say it correctly. MAZ-DA, like how it's pronounced everywhere else in the world, not just up in canada.
Canadians pronounce everything wrong lol. I'm British living in Canada and find it quite funny. So Hyundai gets me the most annoyed as Canadians say Hon-day I would say Hi-une- die. That's how it should be said. Plus Nissan they say NEE-SAAN... LOOOOL I will NEVER own a hon deh in Canada eh eh eh Hon dey eh

They definetly did not design that front end to support front license plates lol

it is the benchmark, the interior is in another league
Beautiful car ! So much nicer than anything else in this class !!
The automatic is the only choice for the GT, not the manual as stated at 4:05.
Thanks for this video, It is really well done and well presented.

That's what I thought too, it has a very similar profile to the Infiniti EX35 when looking at it from the side
cant wait until the mazda 6 diesel . hope they sell the saloon here in the states. it would be nice if mazda offered the 2.5 in the mazda 5
Finally sat in out, the back seat is laughable. Side profile looks weird and overly smooth but is harder to notice this on lighter colors.
base price does not include AC, that is another $1600 plus $100 tax, on Mazda's website right now it says it will cost $24962 for a base auto, all in. that is quite dear...
Damn, this car is freakin sexy. This should be one of the best looking hatchback ever and the upper trim has some horse power on it as well.
Nothing like having false creek and stanley park as the background for the video.

It took a bit to get used to, but I really like it all.
Also wish they made the headliner all black.
They did lots of studies of the central controler, like you said stolen from Audi.

mazda3 steering is best in class
Love your vids zach keep em coming! Your the best on youtube
Did you mean you could only get an automatic not manual or manual not automatic? Or neither? Just wondering what you meant at around the 4:10 mark
The S models (the two highest class models of this car) only comes in auto. The 3 lower models (like the one i have) you have a choice.
I think that is what he meant.
This car is AWESOME!!
Thank you,Zack,i love your videos, good job ,all the time, greeting, from Hungary.Mike.
We do not have to put a front plate in Alberta. Hooray!

Beautiful Vancouver!
Brilliant review

fully loaded it's north of $30,000, that is a ton of money for a 184hp econobox
what would you recommend for an econobox ?
I think it's coming.
Hey - nice video! -A little bit of "borrowed" footage wouldn't ya say!
It's all good tho.. Its nice to use professionally shot footage!
Very sexy car. Good job mazda!
Really good review.
I love mine!
the corolla and civic have really dropped the ball in comparison to this... and then there is the hyundai elantra which is getting a little stale. time to step it up again.
Vancouver!
nice car. fun indeed
so how much was "as tested prise"?
At 4:01 to 4:12 Shouldn't you have said you have to take the AUTOMATIC not the manual?
2014 Mazda 3 looks like the Infiniti FX35/50 from behind and sideway

This car is gonna sell like hotcakes.
Excellent review. How is the head room and leg room in this car? I'm over 6ft tall. Thank you.
I'm 6"2 and I've had this car for over a year now and there's plenty of room. Although you've probably bought and sold this car by now!😊
Thanks for the reply. I went with the CX5, and am very happy with it.
Will a review on the CLA be coming soon?

I agree. Whatever happened to zoom zoom?
Zoom Zoom for Miata Drivers!!
well the way we Americans say it is similar to the way the Japanese pronounce it
maaaaaaazda 3 maaaaze
Ex35?
that front plate ruins the front
Maaaaaaazda 3
just 1 small mistake but i wont call it out :)
Well, I'm Canadian and I call it a "Mahz"-da.
Closer to $26k than $16k. All the tech-nav stuff is a waste of money.
It's "Mahz-da", not "Mazz-da".
На инфинити fx смахивает
God that steering looked so scary and flimsy!
Its too expensive with options
zoom zoom
It is Mazda, not Marzda.
How do Americans say it? lol
Paul45 maz- da (maz-duh)
Ford
The car looks ugly
Canadians pronounce everything wrong lol. I'm British living in Canada and find it quite funny. So Hyundai gets me the most annoyed as Canadians say Hon-day I would say Hi-une- die. That's how it should be said.
Plus Nissan they say NEE-SAAN... LOOOOL
I will NEVER own a hon deh in Canada eh eh eh Hon dey eh
