@@FinerBub hell yeah its noticeable! Lol what did you use to record? It has amazing quality. Im going to Breckinridge in a week and would like to capture similar footage. Im bringing a Gopro Hero10 and an Insta360 One X2. Lets see what I get.
Nice. Yeah this was shot on the hero 9 with the max lens mod just mounted on my helmet. I might switch the lens mod to the hero 10 though just to compare the image quality
Your panting made me realize skiing is not as easy as the pros make it seem. Ive never gone skiing before, ill be going for the first time soon and Im looking forward to it!
@@FinerBub Thanks! However I forgot to add to my comment that I thought you handled everything pretty well! It must take alot of stamina and leg strength to go down a mountain like that
If you guys ever come to Europe, and like a challenge, then the 'Swiss Wall" will be patiently waiting for you. And if that is to difficult a run, the world famous La Face de Bellevarde, Stade Olympique in Val d'Isere is also worth a try, but beware, they are not for the timid. 😉
Yeah there’s better coverage now. I filmed this two weeks ago. Altitude definitely makes things tough but it’s manageable if you make sure to stay hydrated
I did this run last year, as a beginner you wouldn't have to be on anything this challenging. When I went there was a lot of ice so it it was pretty rough up on the double black dimond parts but the regular black and blues are perfectly fine, a lot of them are even groomed
Awesome top to bottom skiing. I like how your GoPro captures the entire run. My Hero 8 only made it out to the bottom of the Imperial Bowl and then beeps out to die on full charge. How do you keep you batteries warm to capture an amazing run like that?
Hey! Glad you enjoyed the video! And thanks for the kind words 🙏 great question, the cold battery situation is actually an issue I deal with a lot. Couple things: first, I’ve been using the hero 9 which has a slightly larger battery compared to previous models. Second, I bought a rechargeable hand warmer last season that I keep on in the pocket of my backpack where I keep the batteries, which seems to keep them warm enough so that I can regularly swap them out between runs. Sometimes the camera itself just gets too cold so I just put it in with the hand warmer when I’m on the lift. Hope that helps!
I don't know a lot about skiing, but this is SUPER cool to watch! In the early Alpine Alley(?) bit with all the super small saplings, is it dangerous to ski between them like that? It seems like if you accidentally ran over one you'd fall and hurt yourself.
Sure. In this video I used the GoPro hero 9 black with the max lens mod, however I definitely recommend the 10 over the 9. Felt like I was there. Thanks for cool vid.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video! I am going there to ski in two days and I am super exited about it!
Thanks. Have fun!
Awesome video! Going to Breck for the first time in a few weeks and I love watching these kinds of vids, just makes me more excited lol
That’s great to hear! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome runs - thanks for sharing! Can't wait to go back!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
As a Coloradan, I must say that the state is incredibly beautiful.
Indeed
Really nice video man! Loved how you always kept all your buddys in frame. Good job!
Thanks man. Really appreciate the appreciation. I’m glad the effort is noticeable

Thank you, I could always get into better shape though. Just takes practice and acclimation to the altitude. You’ll get there too if you keep at it 👍
Breck is outstanding - great video
Thanks dude!
I was just skiing here today and peak 6 is so fun
Yeah. Love the trees off of peak 6
Ski Imperial elev 12998 to base parking lot via 4 o’clock run non stop, great run!!!
Word will do 🤙
Thanks for filming this
For sure! Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that info! I’ve always wanted to ski in Europe
So dope. I'm going in January and cant wait..... are there many hills for beginner/intermediate skiers?
Awesome. Yeah Breckinridge is huge. Plenty of options for all skill levels.
Sounds and looks scratchy. How was the altitude? My trip is coming up in two weeks coming out from the east coast.

Awesome. Going to duplicate (try to!) that in two weeks! Thanks!
Do it! ‘Twas an awesome time
Would you consider Breck a beginner friendly mountain?
Absolutely. Beginners will be most at home at breck!
Yes Breck has terrain for all skiers

Was there sking that run last feb.....nothing like brek............5 peaks yes please.🤗🥶
Nice yeah we had a great time 🤘
Luar biasa, sangat menakjubkan, padang es yang membentang luas. Mantep 👍
Terima kasih telah menonton. saya menghargai komentar anda! 🤙
Dammit, I wish I had friends so I could roll with a ski crew. Badass
Chairlifts are some of the best places to make new friends.
Looks fun
For sure. Good times. Thanks for commenting!
I went skiing there today
Nice 🤙
It was fun
awesome video bro, thanks
For sure! Thanks for watching!

I think it’s okay if you know what you’re doing
it you hit one, you’d most likely ski through it, but yes falling will happem
That place looks gorgeous! How do the trail difficulty ratings compare with the east coast?
About the same. The runs are just longer out here
@@FinerBub Nice, I love those long meandering groomers. If your going to wait 15 minutes to get on a lift at least you can actually ski for a while 🙂
True that
If you were using a go pro do you mind telling me what settings you used

Anytime
I worked imperial hungover as balls one time and it was one of the worst days of my life.
Haha
What peak is this? I’m going next week and am wondering which ones are best for me
This is peak 8
I'm going skiing at Breck soon any tips
Pick an area for the day and stick to it. The traverses kill a lot of time
"Where are you taking us Wilhelm?"
Lol
That's a long run.
Indeed
Long 🤔, it's only 3.5 miles. The Sarenne run in Alpe D'huez is 10 miles, and it is a black.
This is one of the longest runs I have ever skied. One day I would love to ski Europe though
Hit copper next thad be sick
Def gonna try to head there at some point. I don’t have an ikon pass though so I might need to get a buddy pass from a friend
What kind of skis you are skiing?
Rossignol Soul 7s In this video but usually I'm on my Line Sick Days
Breck is cool..
😎 indeed
Dammit Cam, can you keep up please lmao
Lol
Yaaaah Wilhelm… 🤣🤣
You’re killing it
Nextime can you tour down the snow sounds its really loud and i don't like that
I will try to keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback 👍
Hahahaha 0:48
Feeling the stoak lol
Way too much traversing at Breck. That's why I avoid it.
Yeah, it’s rough for snowboarders especially
Lots of skidding and sideways skiing on fat skis. Muricans.
Indeed
@@FinerBub 😅😂
i feel the+ snowboarders pain
Yeah Breck is tough for snowboarders. Lots of traversing between areas
