Thanks for the very detailed review! You hit all the parts I wanted to know, especially the mic test. It's a bummer the mic on the Soundcore VR10 don't sound as good as the Razer Hyperspeed, but at least it can play BT audio and game audio at the same time.
This was one of the best comparison videos I've ever seen. The scoring system was very useful over-all, as I was considering both earbuds and I think I will be getting the VRP10 buds.

Thanks for the video. I find the manual for the Hammerhead HyperSpeed and it says the earbuds have Razer SmartSwitch function that allows you to answer the phone directly while both connected through 2.4g and bluetooth. This is different from your review. Is something bugged about this?

@@PlompPapi i bought them yesterday and got same day delivery and they are great! i like how they are connected to my ps5 and iphone at the same time. total game changer, and for less than half the price you cant beat it.
but mine dont cut out at all.. they give me about 4 hours game play before the mark low battery and i got to say i played about 8 hours already and never cut out once. so maybe theres sum wrong with yours? if you still have warrantee you may wanna trade them in for some different ones?

I’m about to get these. But serious question… why didn’t soundcore put a type c male on the front of the dongle so you can just plug the earbud case to the dongle. Why so many cords lol!
Would you recommend black shark luvifer T6 or vr p10. I got T6 but the sound is not that good in gaming but the latency is awesome
Just to give you updated info, I went and look for the VRP10s as I was looking something other than the headsets I have for PS5 and in Amazon you see a listing for the dongles as well, they cost 16$ so they get another point for me hehehe

The battery of my Hummerhead Hyperspeed runs out very quickly, approximately 1 hour.
Is this normal? Does this happen to yours as well?
Will my Razer EQ settings automatically transfer to my earbuds when I switch them to PS5?

I have found that when i am playing video on my phone, it mutes the dongle. So these do not work for what I wanted.
I got them for my Quest 3. Sorry to say, but I am returning them now. Volume is very low, even with headset volume set to max, and it require a phone app (more bloatware in the phone) in other to work (still didn't fix the volume issue though, even after firmware update). Touch functionality are not working either on the earbuds. Also, the microphone has a horrible quality, and the charging passthrough doesn't work on the Quest 3. The headset left all night charging with the dongle used as passthrough, was still dead in the morning. was Maybe I got a defective pair, but I am going to try something else now before getting those another try.

For anyone considering either of these note that battery life when using the dongle is 3 hours for the Hyperspeed and about 4.5 hours for the Soundcore. It is even worse for the hyperspeed if you use ANC.
Yes, the soundcore ear buds don't last long at all using the dongle.

They can connect to ps5/4 and pc.
Dumb question but bring it connects via usb does that mean the soundcore ones work for xbox series x as well? Well with the adapter you mentioned type c to type A would it work with my series x I primarily play on my xbox over ps5 for online games I usually only use my ps5 for exclusives and im tired of my Kiara pros v2 for my xbox want something good quality and low price and seen soundcore is on sale on Amazon rn way less then the hammerhead xbox version thank you in advance
As far as i know the Razer ones are the only supported ones for xbox.
My Jbl quantum tws also dont work on xbox despite having usb c to usb a Adapter.
Xbox is kinda restricted on connections my tbone mic also didnt work.

I'm using the soundcore one with the Steam Deck. It's very good. It connects instantly to both the receiver and my phone and I won't miss a phone call, while playing.
Does the deck charge, or just slow down the discharge when plugged in via the pass-through dongle? Seems the dongle is only rated to like 15w, if not less.
@@timur7381 it's 18w. So if you're playing a simple game, if will slowly charge. If you're playing a demanding game, it will slowly discharge.
Do example, it charges quicker when I'm playing Dome Keeper. It slowly charges when plating Mass Effect. It slowly discharges when playing Cyberpunk.

The VR P10s are $48 on Secondipity (NEW) right now. Easy winner in book especially considering the superior features anyway
I don’t think any of this was really a tie breaker they both are almost exactly the same until it comes to mic quality and they sound like your talking out of your ps5 controller

Sorry I might be a little thick. I'm interested in the VRP10 but do those work with Wifi or Bluetooth ? My main goal is gaming on the PC
they work with bluethooth and a dongle they dont use wifi, so you can pair a phone trough bluethooth or a dongle on for example a nintendo switch
I mean I get that the value of the sound cores is way better but the mic test was the deal breaker for me since I game in my living room (currently living in a 2bd apt) and my girl is constantly watching tv in the background😅 racer makes some dope gaming equipment though so they can’t be that bad but we’ll see lol
How do you connect the sound core to your pc for pc gaming? Did you try this?
Use an adapter and select the transmitter from the control panel.

I couldnt connect my soundcore to xbox series x despite all the efforts. Its not compatible I guess
use the adapter on the pc to test the latency i had to plug the soundcore usb c adapter into the back of the pc
Could you please test the battery life of the Razer HyperSpeed in a real situation using the 2.4GHz connection? because according to the specs version of the xbox variant of the earbuds the battery life is just 3 hours when connected via the 2.4GHz and according to the PlayStation variant it's 6 hours only when connected via Bluetooth. And if that's the case then these earbuds are just not good for gaming.
Can confirm the Razer HyperSpeed earbuds barely get three hours with ANC on, and then they can possibly get four if you turn of ANC with dependency on how entense the game is. The pair I bought also would constantly desync every twenty minutes on the dot. They are terrible for gaming and most audio things and I wouldn't take these for free if someone gave them to me.

I have tried setting up my Soundcore P10 to my PS4 but I keep getting the notification “Bluetooth device is not supported”. Can this be fixed?

Got my Xbox hammerhead ear buds and the mic doesn’t work when gaming! They’re sending me a new one hopefully it isn’t a software problem

Great Video. I'm on a journey to find the best gaming in-ear/earbuds for PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch with the option for voice chat in single use. A good battery life is also important for me. So if I'm correct the following are the current options on the market?... razer hammerhead hyperspeed, soundcore vrp10, jbl quantum tws, hyperx cloud mix buds, logitech g fits and the upcoming sony project nomad gaming earbuds. And it seems to be important that tehy have a usb dongle for the best cennection to the device and low latency, right? Did I miss anything? Would be nice to know what pair of earbuds is the best of them.
Same here bud. So far, out of all the ones Ive seen, Its either thr JBL or the VR P10. Razer have availability issue and for the same amount of money, JBL is better. No one recommend the Hyperx because of the shit connection even with the dongle for whatever reason. Logitech is, logitech and its very pricy but amazing, but man that price.
Right now, Im torn between either JBL or VR P10, OR wait a few more months
@@assassinhidblade5147 I'd be fine if I've to buy two seperate era buds. One pair for PC and one pair for PS5/Switch. It doesn't have to be the one superb product that works for every device. The problem I see with JBL is the short battery life and with the VR P10 it's a deal breaker for me that I can't adjust the volume at the ear buds itself

@@itzpayday1238 Go them in today - used them for about an hour and pretty happy with them so far. Noticing a little audio signal breakup with PS5 use but might be that they are low on power. Charging up to see if it continues.

The mic performance ratings a bit high for both. I would rate the mic on the vr p10 a 3.
