    I bought the Pulse today (still in the box). I got GameStop gift cards for Christmas 🎄 and was in the store today and decided I didn’t need more games and decided to pull the trigger on Sony’s new earbuds. I really hope I love them! I’ll open tomorrow and see what I feel like. Will get back to you! I basically know I want a PORTAL in the future and wanted to halve the cost. 200 now for the pulse and 200 later for the portal.

      But the explores have better everything. The only reason it has a good battery is because the Bluetooth is old and doesn't work with hardly any device. Sony playstation and sony audio are separate parts of the company.
    Sony audio make the world class XM5 in ear and over ear headphones and also the inzone buds, the speakers and processing is similar to that of the XM5s which are the best bluetooth headphones on the market.
    The pulse headphones are made by the PlayStation side of sony, sub-par performance.
    I would heavily recommend the inzone buds for audio quality.

      @DxN_721 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stretch493 you can have the best drivers in the world but you need the sound knowhow and experience to use them effectively.
      I worked for Sony for years i know the ins and the outs of the Products, people just love to disagree just to feel superior.
      If you have a 4k gaming monitor but you have a GTX 1060 what is the point? You need the engine to drive it to its potential. Sony Europe who develop the TV and AV side of things have decades more experience, Sony PlayStation develop create great visual content and stories plus an amazing gaming device but for the best audio i would stick to the part of the company that has created thousands of songs, movies, audio products like the XM5s and professional studio equipment.

    • @DxN_721
      @DxN_721 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DEEJAY_MONSTA you are an idiot if you think a company being “gaming focused” gives them an advantage in audio product creation.
      The goal of most games is to make them more cinematic and realistic and the part of the company that makes the inzone buds also creates the audio products for cinemas, soundstages and music studios. They aren’t just focused on music, the products they create are designed to have a wider range of frequencies and natural reproduction.
      Sony PlayStation just likes to make things cheap and cheerful, not quality.

    I play Call Of Duty online, due to that & good quality audio needed playing such a competitive game, I decided to go with the Playstation Explores. I need & prefer crystal clear audio over loud rambunctious nonsense that is bass induced such as gunfire & grenades or other explosions that are irrelevant to the match. I have to be able to hear the lighter, much quieter sounds such as footsteps, doors opening/closing, or people going through loot crates, lockers, or even reviving otger team members. Therefore, im gonna keep all the way 'G" & say this.... If you require or wish to hear finer detailed audio & other crucial aspects of competitive gameplay when it comes to "GAMING" at all or in general, then trust me.... Playstaion Explores are what you want. Thats me keeping it all the way 1,000 Y'all....
    These earbuds are definitely being undervalued with abunch of videos of people focusing on bass & music quality instead of what they were actually made & intended for, which is "gaming" NOT bumping the newest hip/hop OR rock & roll albums/bands. That is exactly why one is made by the SONY musical focused audio group & one is made by the SONY gaming side of the company. Two Completely different aspects of audio & HUGE difference maker when it comes to hearing absolutely every aspect of a video gaming session and/or enjoying a favorite song properly.
    I will leave everyone with this & this is FACTS.....
    I own both pair, use the inzones for phone calls & music & use the Pukse Explores for all of my gaming sessions & not once while gaming since using these earbuds have i said or uttered the famous words of, "I didn't even know he was there." 😂💯
    These PULSE EXPLORES are "Gaming Earbuds" made officially for GAMERS. Not for music listening or talking on the phone ect. ANYONE that says that the PlayStation Explores are NOT the best earbuds acailable on the market today. Especially when it comes to "GAMING" is most definitely smoking rocks. 😂😅 They Are A-1 all the way across the board Dude when focused on gaming without a doubt. They are amazing, i can literally hear things i have NEVER heard before with ANY other headphones or earbuds. I can practically hear enemies running around in houses or buildings 40 meters or more away from where im at. Especially when utilizing the correct audio output setting & the 3D Audio functionality that comes on the PS5. I'm able to tell exactly which direction the sounds are coming from & always get the drop on my opponents everytime. I'm beyond 100% satisfied withmy choice & purchase. Thanks for the video though my man keep em coming!

    I have JBL TUNE Buds and they are also LE standard but I am able to conenct them to my iPhone 12 Pro, Lenovo laptop with BT 5.2 and Macbook Air M1. They also work with my NUC12SNKi72 and PS5. Not sure what the deal is with theis new LE standard but mine works. They dont even have a dongle.
    I had option to buy Quantum TWS but I don't want to pay more than 120$.

    So I have the sony enzone monitor and the Sony Link s earbuds, while they are great especially with the noise cancelling, but I'm a stickler for matching which is why I traded the Alienware monitor for the Sony enzone m9 monitor, now the Sony Link s buds don't match so I want the pulse explorer cause the pulse 3d's suck, they have horrible noise cancelling, so what the noise cancelling like on both of these, I'm only using for PlayStation, cause what you said about the not connecting to phones is true, I have a moto g stylus and the Sony Link s earbuds dont hook to my phone only my PlayStation. Oh nevermind I got to the part of the video where you answered my question about the noise cancelling, but since I have the enzone monitor will the Sony inzone buds work better cause of that?

    Both of these earbuds are excellet choices for gaming, and an immerssive gaming expirence. It all boils down to your prefrences in sound
    If you prefer clear,crisp and accurate acoustics the Pule Explorers would be a good choice. The Explorers use Planar Magnetic drivers that are designed for ultra clarity, so you will not get heavy bass from them,a little but not as muchas as what you would hear in regular earbuds. However when used for gaming you can literally hear EVERYTHING going on in the game.....literally everything.
    However, if you prefer more heavy bass I high recomment the Inzones earbuds. The sound quality in them are also very good and has a 12 hours battery life which is incredible. However please note not the Inzones use low energy Bluetooth(which is why they have a crazy long battery life). Very few devices are compatible with this. Iphones are not compatible with the Inzones via Bluetooth and only a handfull of Android models are . The only way you can connect them with most devices is with the Type C dongle it comes with. But in terms of sound quality,iver heard nothing but good things about them.
    Me personally I love the Pulse Explorers! Up until i got them I had never heard Planar Magnetic sccoustics before and I was blown away by them. When I use them, it actually makes me feel like in in the game. I had never had such an immersive expirence like that before while gaming. I was listening to a podcast while gaming with them and it felt like i was in the studio with them. Which brings me to my next point, the explorers have dual connectivity meaning you can listen to other audio audio while gaming on your PS5/PS Portal/PC , and it will blend both audio outputs and does it very well.

      For pure clarity while gaming, the pulse buds are the better option. The planner drivers it uses offer clarity you've probably never experienced unless you have a set of multi thousand dollar speakers or headphones. Going off of sound quality alone it goes to the pulse buds.

      If you like a lot of base then the inzones have more. But again, for me personally, clarity and accuracy in sound is far more important in gaming.

    Gaming headphone comparison that doesn't mention latency? From what you told Inzone looks like obvious winner, but doesn't the range (not that I would care) and battery life stem from the fact that this has lower latency (does it use 2,4ghz, what's the pooling rate)? And what about bitrate of the audio? I'm also very not satisfied with explanation of sound characteristic of this device. Overall shitty overview to be honest.
