Already in love with this slowly pulsating and gritty soundtrack; the atmosphere, and QB sequel-like arts and visuals. I liked every Remedy game so far and QB really did something fresh and, at the same time, strangely, old school by releasing a game where cover mechanics can be completely ignores; fortunately, it seems they stick to that route. I'm really excited for Control.
There are breadcrumbs to follow, clues to piece. Control, heck, the entire Remedy franchise is full of mysteries and puzzles of their own and their continuity with each other. What an overwhelming gaming experience. Keep on making games this way, keep making us guessing. Although hopefully, one day, it'll all be answered.
Quantum Break is so underrated. Once the PC Steam version was released and I could play it at 60fps, I enjoyed the shit out of it. It is not perfect (lack of ability to shoot while running pissed me off) but the story was fucking amazing - one of the best time travel stories across mediums. Control looks super interesting so far as well and will be day 1. Kinda wish Remedy could clone themselves 4 times and make Control alongside Max Payne 4, Alan Wake 2 and Quantum Break 2 :p
I may be the only one but I think Remedy is creating a shared universe with Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control. Alan Wake deals with the supernatural in the form of the "darkness", while Quantum Break dealt with para-science with time travel and gaining the power to control space-time, and this game Control deals with supernatural being researched by science. Now I don't know if that's true or not but it would be an interesting concept to explore as there aren't really any games with a official shared universe just one that was mentioned in passing by devs after fans linked some things together between game made by the same devs. Also we could possibly add Max Payne into the universe in some way as well.
@@Mizra-dq3lj it wasn't a wish but the way the story in all three games was written has hints of them taking place in the same world maybe whenever Alen Wake 2 is finished in development we will get an answer
They have two teams now. One is working on Control and the other is working on Crossfire 2 which is a Korean(?) MP game that they are developing the story for from what I understand.
what makes me skeptical is how he pronounced, that the story and the character serve as an 'introduction' into this world - that leaves open the possibility to add MP-stuff!
maybe... but do we really want a 'franchise' from Remedy? If they would say: Trilogy - okay... fine! An epic story fleshed out over three games... why not! But 'FRANCHISE'?
Please add NG+ or a way to replay missions without losing end game progress. I got the Platinum and besides rerunning Expeditions, I literally have nothing left to do. I don't want to restart and have to re-earn everything before the story DLC.
When even the developers find it so hard to speak about the story (they didn't even tell that much!) you can tell there's something wrong with the project. Maybe there's no clear direction, maybe this is just a random action game salvaged from the remaining Quantum Break elements. I don't know but with prior games Mr. Lake and the others had a much clearer vision of what those games were going to be. For the first time Remedy seems like they're working out of necessity and not because they have something unique up their sleeves.
turned out you were absolutely right. they made Jesse another traumatized innocent good girl with father/brother/mother/sister codependence issues. it is funny that the game Control gives the player no conflict and main character - no control. it might sound that i disliked the game but actually i enjoyed it and ready for DLC because it's art and gameplay are amazing. but i wish the writers stop patronization and victmization of female characters.
Control finished today (ultimate edition) a flawed masterpiece .... i love it ... i want to return to it but boy .... a 25 hours experience felt tedious .... .. it felt like a spent 40. The passing is off 40% & the characters needs mor flshing out especially Jesse she is to calm ... in fact that is the problem i didn't ccared about anyone ... except the DOC in the videos & Ahti.
Part of their financing deal with Microsoft is that they'd only release Quantum Break on their platform and on their terms. That meant Windows 10 and Xbox One. This game however isn't published by Microsoft, so they're at full liberty to release it on all platforms.
Remedy Entertainment
1. Story
2. Great/Fun Gameplay
3. World
Wow, I'm so glad there are still companies like Remedy. I can't wait for this!
I love how the names in their games always sum up the main theme of the game:
Max PAYNE
Alan WAKE
Jack JOYCE
Jesse FADEN
Wait, how is Joyce telling anything? If its a spoiler, dont tell as I havent finished that game yet.
GreedAndSelfishness Joyce = Choice
pain, wake, choice, fading. It all makes sense.
I like it when my games have Max Payne on the dev team.
Was just about to post about that guy lookin just like Kax Payne!LOL
I mean Max Lol
Can't wait to see what Remedy's version of new weird will look like!
Secure, Contain, Protect
Another unbelievably awesome game from Remedy is on the horizon... Can't fucking wait!

Almost spooked me with that "we might try a multiplayer game" bs back than
Now every 2nd word is "story". Slow down Remedy i'm already ere.......

lets hope its just an "introduction" to a franchise of games and not a LIIIIIFFFFEEEE SERVICESSSSSS (insert Jim Sterling voice)

yeah franchise was bad wording from me. i meant trilogy aswell
Looks awesome!

i played the entire alan wake games just to play the awe expansion...now it makes sense------- we need another expansion or Control 2.0
Sam lake = the original face in max Payne it's in his likeness brilliant ....
CONTROL 💪💪💪👌😍
So... can we have Not-Alan-Wake 2 after this Not-Quantum-Break 2 ?
Spoilerish but we kinda got both lol.
We need Alan Wake 2!
Make Control successful, then you'll get what you need.
Why Alan Wake 2? What would a sequel accomplish?
Have you even played AW1? Having a bit of attention?
@Zorklis what a political state of mind you have
Quantum Break 2 much more!!
Welcome to PlayStation Remedy
Look forward to this game, and we need Alan Wake 2.
Wait and See so...
Anna Megill blocked me on twitter so I’ve come here to see who she is
you guys made a channel? about time?

Or maybe they want you to find out yourself when the game comes. A lot of companies do that. This is a mystery game.

needs more gameplay
Hi Phil, glad you asked! We showed quite a bit of gameplay at the E3 Coliseum, hope you enjoy: th-cam.com/video/ZLGltC28sfw/w-d-xo.html
if this has gunplay as fluid as Max Payne 3's, im sold. This already looks cool AF!
I'm sorry?
Her name's what?
Chesty?
Oh, Finnish accent.

Windows 10 only again?

Oh shit. :-(
BUT WHATS THE STORY ????
if I'm playing the game she for sure won't be compassionate
