Thank you so much for inviting her here and sharing her beautiful music with us. I really love the way she creates her music in and that that she has much respect for the composer, the maestro, the orchestra and the music itself. I hope she plays on the stage again as a soloist.
Yes!! Super looking forward to her interpretations of Beethoven Pathetique and Schumann Kreisleriana (great opening-and-closing pairing, by the way)!! She's truly one of a kind 💖💖
"This must be the perfect interpretation" says I, without knowing so much about other interpretations. I only feel that Kate Liu in this gives her heart and soul to us, in order to play her best Mozart. Probably I will get a lot of other suggestions, but just this moment I am in love with the way Kate Liu is playing.
It's a real spiritual feast. A magical balm for the ear and soul. I'm listening with tears in my eyes, especially for the first time "live". Kate Liu is "one and unique"🌹 Such talent comes once in a lifetime. Extraordinary performance! In two pieces of music as different as Mozart's Piano Concerto and Chopin's Waltz, she showed she could play both strongly with incredible passion and ethereally as well. Excellent cooperation with the Symphony Orchestra which rose to the challenge. Great recording!
@@aschellerando Someone among the commentators says "The tones are very gentle, beautiful and relaxing." I can only agree. So I will continue to look for Kate Lius playing.
Kate, You play the grand piano and my soul sings. You take me to a better dimension. You have the power to heal. Dear Kate, You are helping me fight a serious illness. I am extremely grateful to You🌹 This is what Artists should be like. Admiration for Your talent and respect for Your work. Thank You for being what You are 💜
Thanks so much Filharmonia Narodowa for uploading this precious gem of a video. Kate is exquisite; her keys chime clear like crystal, yet each note delicately takes on from the last, and flows into the next. A true star! Also rare is how she is so sensitive to the conductor and orchestra ALWAYS! Wishing her all the best in Zurich this week! 🎉❤ Thank you for this amazing recording!
@@saswald I think nothing. Piano competitions are not my game, never listened to them. I just can hear that Kate Liu is playing this better than almost anyone else.
Let me tell you, this is just an outstanding performance. Kate Liu's playing is out of this world. The one thing I do know is. Mozart would have been very, very proud of this performance. Thank you so much for uploading this most beautiful concert. I enjoyed this immensely.
Sorry I disagree with all of you. Her touch at the beginning was Mozart but her rubato was Schubert. The scale passages were Beethoven......it won't do. She needs to listen to Clifford Curzon. She does of course have a wonderful technique.....I wish her much success for the future!
Kate is an artist, not a copyist. Her interpretation shows a deep understanding of what she is playing. Music needs to be experienced, not just replicated recognized renditions. The interpretation with Ludwig van Beethoven's cadenzas is rarely played by pianists.
I love you Kate you are a genius of piano your sound is unique allways so clean so perfect a great pleasure to listen to it ! Thanks a llot.
Kate is one of today’s most original artists, a musician with her own unique voice.
This composer, this work, this soloist and this performance - they all come from out of this world. ❤
ありがとうございます!
Bravo. I love Kate Liu~
Превосходное, выше всяких похвал, исполнение величайшей музыки гениального Моцарта.
Благодарю автора, оркестр, солиста, и дирижера❤.
I LOVE HER SO MUCH HUHU

The greatest experience hearing it live. Can't wait for another recital in August!

@@robbc.8183 as I saw the program has changed - she will play Schumann's Symphonic Etudes.

I humbly agree...
The encore, a Chopin waltz, is like a beautiful and breathless trip into a landscape, only partly known. Listen at 37:01
Thank you for posting this. I love her so much
WONDERFULL
I have never listened to Kate Liu, until now. But let me tell you, I am impressed!
I first heard her at the 2015 Chopin Competition. One of the best interpreters there is today!!

Magic!
Very nice work and clean as a whistle! Without a doubt another definitive performance rendered. Bravo! And congratulations to all!
The gentle touch of Kate Liu at 2:48 is uncomparable. I can listen to this first moment for the piano over and over.

Curzon was a marvel, but if I wanted to listen to Cursor I would - we don't need a clone. Liu's interpretation is distinctive and breathtaking.

鋼琴家技巧很好,但詮釋不適合我。
I'm not surprised at all. I suppose the interpretation with the cadenzas of Jan Nepomuk Hummel would be to your taste.
