Jesus that shot at 1:32:09 is one of the best reversals ive ever seen. He moved 5 balls away from Fedor's hole putting 2 up table and 3 on his own. Good Lord
i literally exited out of full screen to comment about that shot. i was like wow if alex played that shot against me i would just break my stick down and say well if that's how you're gonna shoot i don't even want to play with you anymore
That was standard in New Orleans and Houston back in the day.. I believe Buffalo’s is the only place left that allows it.. Even my brother Jeremy developed late with the bridge, because of this, and actually developed better as an ambidextrous player, overall, than with the bridge..
@@derrickallen2054 it can for sure, it’s not my favorite game because when the heat is on, and I haven’t shot for at my hole for awhile, I get helpless at pocketing balls. And I pocket balls good when I’m playing nine ball all the time.
just in the first 22 minutes of the vid - Fedor is up 1 - 0 but after making balls both players are spotting them up. What gives...oh and then on one shot Fedor gets both knees up on the table and then a bit later Alex uses the bridge...this is a very peculiar game of 1 pocket
fouls... if u foul u owe a ball. then when u do make one u "owe it" so you have to put it back on the spot and then your foul goes away. a foul in one pocket gives you a "negative" score.
You wanna know why pool sucks now?.. Because you go to a tournament in New Orleans.. You spend all that money on travel, expenses, food.. They have a player auction, and everyone spends all their money on that, and all that money goes in the safe, and nobody will bet 2 big dogs can beat up a little dog for the rest of the weekend, because nobody has any money!.. lol.. Grrr!.. What’s next, instructional videos on TH-cam?.. Like they shouldn’t have TO PAY to learn that, just like I did?!.. Total mess..

they can and did use the bridge but this is one pool hall where there is no one foot on the floor rule so they are allowed to get all the way up on the table to shoot so they do if its an easier shot than using the bridge.
@@johnnywithaker2658 that would be very helpful to me because I am helpless with the bridge and shooting opposite handed and I am a pretty decent player, but the crutch is certainly the worst part of my game

I'd watch Alex and Fedor play mini golf
1:32:13 Gorst: I have 5 balls over my hole, none over Alex's and left Alex safe.
1:32:15 Gorst: Fuck
Yeah. you don't play one pocket with Alex...He lets you play with him.
Alex is too good at that game for Fedor to win. And as good as Alex is, Efren was a lot better than even him
Is that Billy Incardona in the back ground.
Yup
at 51:10, don't have to have one foot on the floor when shooting?
this rule don't apply for onepocket
@1:20:10, thats actually allowed? Is the rule in pool not that at least one foot has to be on the ground for all shots?
not onepocket and 8 ball
At that pool room, it is sort of a tradition that players are allowed and encouraged to get on the table.
Definitely need a shot clock!
No. One pocket should not have a shot clock
11:24 look nice :))
It would be a foul to climb on the table in tournament play. When gambling ,it is up to the players.
Which one is your original country ?
Is that a 5 x 10?
Alex was ready to play the way he knew he had play to beat Fedor. Alex kept him pretty sewed up. Fedor will be back, for a long long time.
Yup
Fedor got up on the table to shoot 🤯How does that work 😂
Timestamp?
Edit: Alex did the same at 2:11:50. Good thing he's so small 😅

It was a foul. It was the only way for him to hit the ball.
I never understood the one foot on the floor rule. It just favors tall players.
To be such a good player, gorst makes some terrible decisons at times.
1 pkt can make you do that, especially when the heat is on
