@@huskiehuskerson5300 ofcourse he's more talkative and makes more funny comments in the animal segments because it involves a lot more wonder and excitement plus there should also be interactions with the animals, all in a limited time frame. But yet he listens to the animal experts with great interest. When it's just a normal interview, where he doesn't have to deal with animal guests that is, he allows a lot of space for his guests to talk while listening with genuine interest, and saves his questions and comments for when they're done talking/answering.

@@Nofrthough Parrots should not be kept by humans at all. Once you see how they live in the wild you know what I mean. To keep one parrot in a cage is so sad for such a highly social animal.

The black throbbing spot on the crocodile's lower jaw/neck is a gular gland which is also called a musk gland, though it seems to be more important for the crocodile's hunting for prey (by using the secretion as a lure) rather than for attracting mates.

I worked at a store that specialized exotic birds. For awhile we had a black palm cockatoo. They are amazing birds up close. There bills are completely different than any other cockatoo or parrot. I could watch one all day. The bird’s owner had to find her a new home for some reason. She was soon sold for $18,000.
That is an impressive bird.
The parrot on its shoulder is pretty cool, too.

I love how Conan listens to Animal Experts that guests on his show, is actually fascinated and interested as to what these experts share, he's even attentive and asked questions. Regardless whether the animal is hostile/dangerous or not, he'd willingly touch it or stand very close to it.

Yeah, he really shouldn't bring out animals that aren't the socialized types, otherwise he's just making that crocodile miserable. And I think that tool is a bullhook that he was holding, which has been outlawed in many countries and states because it's used an abuse device in animal handling/training.
