- Atomstack R3 Rotary Roller Y axis for Laser Engraving Machine is designed to be compatible with many other laser engraver brands too. Unlike many other similar products, this one can accept longer cylindrical objects for engraving. Minimal diameter of the object is approx 5-6 mm (tested). It doesn't require any changes in the software, installed stepper motor is replacing the linear Y axis of the laser engraver.

Does anybody know if this will work on the Enjoywood CEL-E10?
Thanks
Is this rotary compatible with ortur lasers?
Hola, espero puedan ayudarme: apenas estoy comenzando con una cnc y he grabado en un termo pero no me dan las medadias, ¿Alguien sabe a que se debe?
Can this laser be used for tublers?
how to use text with laser grbl
Works in Sculpfun s30?
any idea why mine moves on the Y while using roller? New to this buy I'm pretty sure it should only move on X
It replace the linear stepper motor of the engraver. If you pull out the Y stepper cable and connect it to roller, it will rotate in "Y direction"
its way over $1,000.00 US its way more then i can buy, great video
$1000? No, one zero less
Have you tried Atomstack x20 20 watt yet? I am thinking about buying it.
Not yet, 10W strongest I tested so far.
I go tit ...and returned. Too much hyper from youtubers that got then for free in turn of a false good review. It is just very slow and underpowered for the said 20W, just overpriced toy
So how would I move my axis if the rotary tool is active since it replaces an axis motor?
The signal to Y axis will move the motor on the rotary roller.
@@MyTechFun yea I figured it out after I put it together thanks though!
is your machine Atomstack A5?
HELPPPPPP I have one and I have been trying to make it work and every time the roller wont spin, It sound like it is stuck. Im so frustrated that I dont know what else to do.
First of all, can you rotate it with your hands? Second, is to check if you used correct cable (black or white, mentined in the video)
@@MyTechFun i can rotate it with my hand. I have use both cables. Nothing is working
What software do you use to engrave that? I am using my iPhone with AtomStack engrave, but it doesn't give me any choice other than wood/plywood.
Thanks!
He is using LaserGRBL Oh his computer, So do I its free
@@mikethompson9745 Thanks a bunch.
help!, I have the atomstack a7 pro, in the last seconds it goes fast, in the last pass it records in a different position (2mm beyond), can you give your email to send a video to show this problems please. many thanks
I have this same problem. Did you ever find a resolution?
Mine is etching mirrored! 😢😢😢
It absolutely doesn't work with the frame on the Atomstack X7. There's nowhere to securely attach the fourth riser on the corner with the control box
Sounds like great DIY project, I am sure it can be solved easily
I wonder if this would work with a K40...
Depend of the stepper motors. This one has Nema17 inside. If necessary (depend of the pulleys) change the e-steps if possible (the expression is from 3D printing, not sure how are they called on laser engravers)
@@MyTechFun I guess so - but I am unsure about the magic firmware it has. I am fairly OK with 3D printer firmware but I'll have to look into how it looks for the K40
It's 50% of the price of the laser engraver, though
Not always 50%, depend of the engraver (there are some expensive versions too). Looks like these products are in similar price range, there are some DIY solutions, they are cheaper ONLY if you don't calculate your time working on it...
