That is Joey Vera from Armored Saint. He joined the band when Frankie took a break from Anthrax to do his side project "Helmet" full time for about 18 months.
I personally like Joey better but John was still a great vocalist I think I just prefer that anthrax tho and sadly the bush era was my least favorite lineup but it's ok tho anthrax will always be amazing I also think he struggles with a lot of those notes Joey can hit even Joey can hit a lot of those still which is surprising with how old he is
Bush gives anthrax raw power cus he brings in phil anselmo vibe i dig anthrax way more with bush than belladona, i think belladona make anthrax sound goofy and a parody of the 80’s metal scene. The riffs are good the sound is great but everytime belladona open his mouth it goes down to a goofy level i think with all due to respect to the guy cause joey can sing and is a good singer i just dont think his style fits thrash metal
No disrespect to John Bush, I’ve always liked Armored Saint and John Bush, he was terrible in anthrax, he wasn’t right for this band from the start, People that keep asking him to come back in anthrax should listen to their first 4 records and their recent stuff as well, those records that John Bush did with Armored Saint are much better than the records he did with anthrax, ever since they fired Joey Belladonna, this band went completely downhill until Joey’s return, I’m happy that John and Joey Vera are back in armored saint, John can hit the notes like what he did back then in the 80s and I’m also glad that Joey Belladonna and Frank Bello are back in anthrax, Joey Vera is a great bassist and John Bush is amazing singer to this day, they just didn’t belong in anthrax, they belong in armored saint, I prefer Rob as a performer and guitarist than Jon, Dan is the original but I still think Rob is a excellent player!!
De gustibus. I find Caught In a Mosh much better with Bush and this modern cut on vocals whilst Indians is better with Belladonna. Metal Thrasing Mad with the original singer is unbeatable.

Yup, this just shows that with John Bush, they turned a classic thrash song into an alternative metal song at best. Though he's a great singer and performer, he was totally NOT the right fit for this band. Never from the start. Anthrax is known to be a THRASH band, NOT an alternative metal band. Joey Vera and Rob Caggiano I can forgive cuz Vera is a good bassist and Caggiano is way better a performer than Jon Donais from Shadows Fall. God, Donais has absolutely NO stage presence. He can play very well but he just stands there. The dude has no feeling. I don't know why the hell they picked up that guy. They should've picked up someone like Jeff Loomis or something. Someone with more feeling as well as skill. Though I think Bush is a slightly superior performer, Anthrax is not good, nor thrash, without Joey.
NICK ROBINSON nope and what was stupid about Scott Ian was that he said in interviews that Joey wasn't right for the band blah blah blah a lot in the past like they never liked Joey or something and then when john Bush came or whenever he was with the band, they were like "hell yeah!" And then now that john bush made it clear that he didn't want to commit to anthrax full time no matter what, NOW Scott Ian's like "Joey IS the voice of Anthrax" and "We can't do this without Joey" like a total hypocrite. He's just saying that cuz the band had to settle for Joey and can't get anyone else I feel bad for Joey cuz he's a good frontman with a consistent voice and well maintained voice and all the songs I like from them ARE With Joey on Lead. The only decent song with Bush that's catchy at all was "Only". Besides that, all the John Bush led stuff sucks.
