For the Giants, I feel like Jack Flaherty is a great fit for them. I don’t see to many suitors wanting to pay him a lot so the Giants can offer more than others teams and with a pitcher friendly environment, I feel like it is a perfect signing
I think another reason that ken Kendrick went for burnes is the impending free agents next year Monty, Gallen, Kelly, Suarez, Naylor, gurriel jr opt out. Thats around $70M off with out gurriel. I believe they have a strong chance to sign gallen. I also believe the dbacks will be strong players for vladdy with no real long term prospects options or mlb options at 3B or 1B
Then you take a look at next years market and Gallen is probably going to be the clear cut guy available and then its guys like cease, imanga, and senga right behind him
One thing to note with the other leagues is they have a revenue split percentage. They share 52 or 47 percent of revenue ( mostly because there are other costs with a baseball team other than payroll). Pirates doesn’t make senses but Dbacks are over that threshold. Something to ponder
Just started following yall on IG and now here. Congrats on the find dudes. Pretty sick. 🤙🏾

I like Giants trading for Luis Castillo as a #2

That is a WILD overpay for Robert Suarez
He’s one of the best closers in all of baseball on a solid contract
