Instagram- AdamTheWooATW While I am a huge creature of habit and devolved many “traditions” on places I go and things I do each year I’m really feel like it’s gotten to locked in and need to break it up a bit. After the rest of this year I’d like to change course on a few other things as well into 2024.
Glad you’re making decisions for yourself that makes you happy and moving on to new things if that’s what you want to do, you being happy comes first then the great content follows, thanks for being awesome Adam
My mom and I met Sean Astin out in public a few years ago and he wished my mom a Happy Birthday and spent at least 10 minutes talking with us. He is such a nice and wholesome guy, very genuine. I hope you’re doing well Adam
So sad you may not come back again for a while! My husband and I found your vlogs after DragonCon last year and we saw you in passing in the Hyatt but didn't want to bother you. It was pretty cool for us to be "in" the vlog though - we were at the Star Wars photoshoot! Hope you go on lots of cool adventures in the meantime and maybe we'll get to say hi to you in person at a future DragonCon :)
The first video I watched of your was one of your DragonCon vlogs, I always enjoy the places and characters you visit. Looking forward to where you end up this time next year!
I like people who like nostalgia. It means they have a good heart. When you remember things that made you happy, it is likely that you are happy. Or at least have an overall positive/ hill attitude. In this case, Adam’s mind loves the creative side of things. Love it.
Just seeing that it’s three hours to get into a vendor room. Unless they expand, it’s not worth it. If you have to spend your entire time waiting in lines, it’s an absolute waste. I didn’t see Adan in any panels this year. Why pay a premium price to just wait in lines to spend more money?
Good morning. Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration to eat healthier. The scales this morning show I've lost 15 pounds this summer. I will try for another 15. Love watching your videos as I drink my morning coffee each day!
That Dragon 🐉 con seems like a blast that you always go to, I've been watching you for years, it's the same thing as always. Thanks for sharing this Adam. Take care my friend.😎👍📸
Thank you Adam, Greg, and Ryan! Dragoncon looks like an amazing event; but I don’t know if I could do those crowds. The creativity in cosplay is just astounding, and I enjoy every moment of these videos!
Change is good. You get into a rut and even though you enjoy it there is so much more to explore! You go for it Adam we only have so many spins around the sun.
I got burnt out on cons too. I’m local and we have soo many it just gets old quick. I think once I move away (soon) I may come back to DC and spend extra time remembering why I moved away hahah
Seems like a great year to cap off 9 consecutive years for you of Dragon Con. This year was my second year going and it was the best one yet for me personally. I'm glad you got to experience this wonderful Con and i hope you have a great Labor Day buddy! ❤️
You can make it a tradition to visit that mad guy who lives at Cousin Eddie's House in Boone, Colorado every year and convince him to show you around his house and kitchen!
The idea of spending all that money, fighting all those crowds at a generic "fandom" con...I'm 54 and now I'd rather spend that $$$ on a week on the beach, or secluded cabin in the wilderness
Looking at the videos and seeing the size of the crowd it's apparent that it's become way too busy. One shouldn't have to wait hours to get into a store. Even the meetups are big enough to have their own cons. It looses the sense of community.
@@TheDailyWooI haven’t been in a couple of years but when they started requiring tickets to get into the hotels it was more mellow. Not sure if they are still doing that.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome video! Juice Newton charged $5 for a picture at Choctaw Casino and Resort way back whenever. Your Chili dog, burger, onion rings, and chicken looked so good as did your apple pie! Looking forward to your next vlog.
Come next year you'll miss all that hot weather, chaos, bad food, standing and stuff. Most of all the friends being with you in that place . Great vid. Good to se George and Brad. Love those guys. Wish I could meet George. Used to be such a huge Trek fan.
When they use to have all of the Disney marathons, for some reason Sean Astin and I would always finish around the exact same time. This happened at 8 different races over a few years period of time .we would always take a selfie after each one and he reposted the collage I made of us over the years . He’s such a nice guy
Not sure why you’re not going to be there next year, but I sure do appreciate the coverage from this year. Too many peeps for me but I could feel the energy and it was awesome. Plus I would really like to go to that cool hotel with the view from the 47th floor. Very cool. You kept showing “Olympic Park” with the fountain…is that where the concert was that had the backpack that Richard Jewel found?
I thought that was a typo. I am a little shocked but change is good. New adventures for ya to partake in. Changing your path occasionally is good for everyone.
You made a cameo on weird history Food. There In and out burger video. Had you doing your Food review around the 12 minute mark lol. Just a flash on the screen!! 😂
Totally understand but hope you eventually find your way back again someday. Even years and years from now. Always love your videos no matter where you are. Honored to say I made it into two of them. One as Hancock from Fallout 4, and one as Harry Vanderspiegle from Resident Alien. Was good to meet you each time! Best of luck in future endeavors!
I don’t blame you at ALL Adam for bowing out next year, the crowds were intense and I’d be so mad to have to sit for 4 hours to be able to enjoy the vendor room.
Hi Adam, been watching and enjoying your adventures for years. Thanks so much for taking us along, it's like going somewhere with a good friend. Just wondering, how about a Labor day video of you BBQing? I'd like to see your BBQing skills, I'm just average. Take care.
No offence Adam, but I'm pleased you enjoyed yourself, but the convention not keen on them but looking forward to your next adventure, which is probably starting today, tomorrow for us lol
I think having goals and setting specific metrics on your future endeavors is important. Flip flopping constantly on decisions may be signs of indecision and being disorganized.
I did a table selfie with Christopher Lloyd at Awesome Con 2021. His line went until after the con ended. So by the time people got up there to take their pictures with him, he looked grumpy. They were rushing people through. I could barely say one sentence to him. I at least got out " You were my childhood" and he said "Thank you" and that was it. Michael J. Fox was at the con, too. People were bringing stacks and stacks of hover boards to get signed. It was insane.
Kudos to your 10 yr Dragon Con streak. Impressive. Most impressive, heh. Had to pause at that DC Photo Op stairs shot...man, that was just too awesome. Definitely my personal fave of all the photo ops. 💚 Also , totally lost it at the Marriott Carpet T Rex patiently waiting his turn to pummel -- was that an Airplane! film nod? Even if it wasn't, loved it all. Now its onward and upward to new adventures! Excelsior!
I went to Dragoncon once a decade ago. I think they should move it to a different time of year as I remember I was constantly covered in sweat. As you have to go outside and run from one panel to the next as they are in several different hotels. I never went back as I just didn't like spending the whole day drenched in sweat.
Take a trip to Montreal for Comic Con next year. A smaller, more intimate experience in an amazing city I'm sure you'd enjoy. I'll even buy you a piping hot caffeinared beverage if I'm lucky enough to bump into you!
Ya, you kinda did it all and looks like it got way too crowded. On to a new Labor Day tradition🙌🏻 Revisit the Con in 5 years, it will be like seeing an old friend. Love the content as always
Thanks for pointing out the little bit of Lord of the Rings merch AND for getting a photo with Sean Astin. Your experience with George and Brad was just beautiful. ❤

As a "wise" Woo once told us, "Do what you want to do"! So, back at you Adam, do what you want to do! We'll keep watching!😃
Good idea to make changes 👍🏼
It’s good to step out of your comfort zone!

This was such a fun video! Looking forward to see what you’ll be doing next year in lieu of DragonCon 🐉
Oh man, being around that many people, and the lines, gives me the “yuks”. Not because of Covid but because of that many people 😊

Hey, that FedEx Jon was me! Thanks for making me part of the video, especially since it'll be your last one at DC for a while.
That superman with the tie that was permanently in the breeze, and that hawk girl with those wings that spread out were fantastic.
Sean Astin my husband met at MegaCon last year with Elijah Wood and man was he a sweetheart! Glad you got to meet him.
The Con ...is....over! 😀
Very nice that you included Brad and gave him just as much respect as you did George... That was really cool, well done sir.
Love that guy
I must be missing something. What's the big deal about Brad?
George is a hater and Woo endorses him. Our family is just about done with the WOKE nonsense.
