It’s been a great ride along with you this year. Hope we can all make it to next year. My words can not tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I will watching for any new videos you put up. God bless you and Jim. You have given an old man many wonderful hours of enjoyment!! 🙏

Thank you again so much for the wonderful video, and it’s never easy to say goodbye to friends and a wonderful place but you will come back and you have some amazing memories from this wonderful summer and so do we ❤❤thank for that
Hi to you, Tracey and Jim on your departure from Montana (of course we know you are home already). Well, I looked at this video three times. You have such wonderful content in it Tracey. I am like you, good-byes are never easy. I have to be honest, each time I watched the video my eyes were full of tears-wow, very powerful video with the content and music!!!!!! Guess I am just an old sentimental Iowa farm boy with years of Air Force service to my country!!!!! Oh my!!!!!! Thanks for filming the seeding equipment they use to seed the wheat. Big heavy duty John Deere equipment will most certainly do the job!!!!!! And of course Frank is already helping with the seed wheat process. Can truly understand leaving Frank behind is hard, but you will see him upon your return next summer!!!!! Frank is in excellent hands with Brent and his family!!!!! The snow in the mountains was beautiful!!!!!! The filming you did on the way home was very enjoyable. Appreciate that!!!!!! In saying goodbye to Highwood it carries, for me, some absolutely fantastic experiences through your and Jim’s eyes during the Montana wheat harvest time. Never will forget it; looking forward to your return next year. Not a goodbye to Highwood but a Till We Meet Again Highwood!!!!!!!!!!! I want to express my appreciation to you and Jim for taking me along on the Highwood wheat harvest experience!!!!!!! Heartfelt appreciation for an amazing and incredible trip to Highwood and the Montana Wheat Harvest!!!!! I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it and do feel a part of the journey with you and Jim!!!!! Frank, we will see you again next summer!!!!!! Guess I had better put my typing hand away for now. I am looking forward to your Nebraska corn harvest videos; can’t start soon enough!!!! You and Jim take care and be safe. Heartfelt appreciation for wheat harvest videos and being included in the journey!!!!!!!! My blessings to you both; may God watch over you both and your families!!!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve ❤️❤️🤗👋👍🙏✅🇺🇸🇺🇸 PS: forgot to tell you I have been doing good this past couple of weeks, yeah!!!!! 😊
Jim and Tracy~ Frank will be waiting to see you kids next summer! You are both extremely fortunate to work for a wonderful farm family that values the two of you. AND VICE-VERSA. You two can truly appreciate all your farm friends do for you! This is a WIN - WIN for ALL involved! Heck -- even us viewers are involved in this win - win and we ALL appreciate your videos! I for one thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Enjoyed the years that I have followed along with you. As someone who did this work 70 some years ago, the memories are great. Thanks for the ride along.
Ya know Tracy, it's never good bye, it's I'll see you later. I will be looking forward to more videos and looking forward to wheat harvest in 2025. Stay safe and happy trails!!
Glad to see Frank working before y'all head home. I hope y'all have several more years harvesting with the MO gang. I really enjoyed this years harvest videos.
Really great to watch! I guess you can see Frank next year again, that would be fun! It must feel a little strange seeing someone else driving Frank. I really understand goodbye's are never easy. Some years ago I sold my old car (21 years old), but still miss it. For sure Frank is in good hands. I have the impression that they really take good care of the stuff on the farm! Enjoy the weekend!
My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed your vlogs giving us a totally different perspective of farming and contracting can’t wait till you come back. What about a series of cultivations viewing some of that expensive JD 9RX640 at work?
Hi Tracy. Thanks for this goodbye video. Oh, the Highwoods, and all the beautiful, golden wheatland that surrounds. Watching this gave me a lump in my throat. Thanks for showing the In God We Trust sign. All the best to You, Jim, Frank and the Highwood, Montana farm family. Happy, and safe trails. So long from NYC.
Heart touching video it's never easy leaving good friends and family but life must go on Thanks, God bless you Jim & Tracy, from Wheatland, Pennsylvania 💪💪💪🌾🌾❤❤❤!!
Hello Jim and Tracy thank you for another update and yes always sad saying good bye for the yeardrive safe and well and catch you both again tomorrow and have a wonderful weekend
Bittersweet memories. When I had to part with my truck at the end of my working life it was a sad day seeing them leave. I saw my old KW cabover pulling a grain trailer last fall on the way to a funeral. It still looks good with that Imron paint I put on it. God's blessings to you guys and the whole crew at Highwood. Be blessed
All good things must come to an end. Seasons change and we have to change with them. We have to suffer through the bleary winters and before you know it summer has rolled around again and you'll be heading to Montana again. Enjoy the time off and you'll be picking corn soon.
Frank got a good home and you'll be able to see him again. Nice thing about a prairie town, they still have most of their downtown buildings from long ago. They didn't tear them down for skyscrapers. I envy your trips, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing once again, I really love your videos and the wonderful countryside you enjoy and would sincerely love to visit there sometime. Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪 and I will continue to watch, stay safe.
WOW beautiful colours,Franks a might find truck how old did you say he was,I am sure the farm will look after him like Jim did,I was wondering if you had plans for harvest 2025,wonder if there will be any new combines, might be a few pennies to spend after a good harvest. Thanks for all of the wonderful videos.
Another successful harvest in the books , without any injuries, farming can be dangerous ! Time with friends is so precious and when working towards a common goal a bond developes that is as close as family , enduring . What makes your videos special are your sharing of emotions ! Thanks so much !!
Thanks for all the great videos an narratives. It was great seeing all my ol stomping grounds. Do you by chance know Kyle Groh from Circle. Great guy young farmer. Anyway Jim an yourself take care have fun.😊
The farmer that I assist with harvesting, irrigation, fat hog loading, etc. has a similar Freightshaker to Frankie. Looking out over his hood with the single grab handle there brings back the memories of hauling chip potatoes, corn, and soybeans to the locations around our township where those crops are stored, sold or shipped to a processor. Thank you for stirring up those vivid images. Frankie will enjoy his new role and will be well taken care of at his new home!
In 1970 on our trip north through those mountains on the way to Fort Benton we had an engine fail on one of the tracks carrying a combine an pulling a header trailer. My truck was hauling a combine but had no trailer so I would pull the broken rig up the hills then get out of their way and they would coast to the bottom and we would repeat the process and we left that truck in Fort Benton for repairs. Good memories of majestic country, thank you.
@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking I wouldn’t have chosen that particular path but I got a nice postcard from the selective service, I was raised in a family where both parents served in WW2 and duty was a big deal, still is. You’re quite welcome, keep those videos coming and I’ll tell a tale from Eastern Colorado harvest before Montana.
Your video today conveyed a definite melancholy. Giving up "Frank" being one more tether severed from your harvest career. Probably not even bittersweet. Just sad realization that things change.
😊Thanks Tracy & Jim

My husband's grandparents homesteaded around that area. They arrived about 1908 or so? They grew wheat. Their name was Austin and Maude Lynch.
Ohhhhh, this is awesome! I would be willing to bet someone recognizes the name!

Thanks for showing their seeding equipment or was there more? I knew they had to be big to cover all the acres they have.
Nope, that was it. Just the two of them (Dennis and Bret) do the planting.

Yes! SAD realization, for sure. And soon enough, it will feel like it never even happened. That’s what makes it even more difficult.
Is helping with corn and soybean harvest back home next?
Yes! In a couple of weeks.
