I am an old retired farmer from South Africa. It is my pleasure to ride along when you are harvesting. We farmed in the Free State province of South Africa. At the moment i live in an old age home in my home town. Fromk my patio i9 can see the local farmers delivering their maze (corn) at the local depo of our Co-operative. Have a nice harvesting time.
Great to see you back with another awesome video Tracey. Glad to see things are going well with bean harvest down there. Just make sure you keep Johnny's Ring Of Fire on the radio in your combine. It's so dry up here. We had a pretty bad weekend up here in ND. We've had 33 wildfires over the weekend with 50 to 75 mph winds on Saturday. The biggest fires have been north of Medora (I know you know where that is) up towards the oilfields. The biggest one at this point is around 18,000 acres but is now pretty much fully contained. The wind finally went down today. Another fire is between 11,000 & 12,000 acres. One is at about 1100 acres with a small town in the path being evacuated, and there were a bunch more with unspecified acres. One human life lost, unspecified number of livestock. They've managed to keep all the oil well sites safe. It's been pretty tough for a lot of people. So you all please stay safe down there.
Interesting that we never heard a word about those fires. But, I can certainly understand why you’re having them. We’re also SO DRY here! I don’t think it’s rained since we got back home the weekend of Labor Day. And none in the forecast. Guess fall harvest will go quickly this year.
What a wonderful day today watching you, Tracey, working through the 2024 soybean harvest days!!!!!! I was kind of down today and being able to ride with you these last couple of days picked me up again; heartfelt thank you for taking me along. 😊👍 I thought you kind words about that young family you meant at Husker Days was so very kind of you!!!!! Those children will always remember meeting you and the time you took to say hello to them!!!’ I thought it was so neat of them to remember Jim also. You mentioned how great the people are that follow you and Jim and I totally indorse that!!!!!! I read ALL the comments you get and feel like you get the kindness feedback from everyone; just reminds me of a large family!!!!!!!! Amazing followers!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed your comments about combining the terraces. I am learning from you on that part of combining. In Iowa, the central part where I am from, we never had to learn how to farm terraces, as our land was totally flat. I find your comments on the terraces most interesting. You are moving right along with the soybean harvest. You have had wonderful days to harvest. No breakdowns and moving right along ; makes for pleasant days working the harvest. Lee strikes me as a very pleasant person to work for and has an easy manner about him. Makes for good working situations. Guess I had better put my typing fingers away. Don’t want to quit as it is so enjoyable communicating with you and Jim. Please pass my best on to Jim also!!! Tracey, sincere thanks for two wonderful days of riding with you for harvest again. You take care and be safe!!!!! Looking forward to the next video!!!!!!!!! Appreciate the friendship with you and Jim ; valuable days in my life!!!!!! Until next time, my blessings to you both always!!!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve 😊👋👍🙏💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great to be riding with you again. So amazing how quickly the beans are removed from the plant. Truly a fantastic piece of equipment. Thank you Tracy!!
Cuttin beans was always my favorite behind wheat. I guess fall harvest is a more comfortable time with the cooler temps where you could wear a hoodie and feel snug in the seat with the sun on ya !!😊😊
17:27 Happist gal in the USA, with a combine underneath her. Nothing else matters. I see you are taking care of the kids. Glad to see you back at it. Looking for the next chapter in Fall 2024. CYA
This is so special to all of us...thank you!! It was incredible to meet you and your family at HHD, and such a treat to be on your channel today! You did a really great job remembering our names (and the baby is MacKenzie).😉 Thank you so much for all the time you put in to making your videos. Hello from all of the kids to you and Jim!
You're the best! Getting to meet your family was the highlight of the day!! But seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces seriously melted my heart.❤️ Maybe we’ll run into each other again some day.
Its just hard to find good help Tracy and thank you so much for the video of those darling little ones they are so precious being a grandparent I just love them so much at that age its great being back in yellow thanks for taking us along
So lovely to see you back in the field Tracy and your lovely smile as well and also nice to hear lee say no rain for two weeks so should give you a few full days working say hello to jim and lovely sun set as well catch you both in the next video
Hello Tracy and Jim I find your journey so touching and interesting. It is now approaching Christmas. I wish you and Jim and all your family and friends the finest holiday season and a wonderful prosperous and healthy new year, and many many more. Tim Clark St Albert Alberta Canada.
He’s really not as grumpy as he appears. 😉 He’s pretty tired. Been going hard for a month now. I think he’s ready for a rain day. Which there is none in the near future.
Good to see you again. I really enjoyed it all the windshield time i guess it's the old truck driver in me. Lol. Have you seen any eagles yet? ❤️AMER1CA❤️
Looks like Lee has to pay a lot of attention to maintaining the erosion control meadow strips (channels?) on those hilly loess fields there in southeastern Nebraska. Must make cutting right much more of a challenge when compared to flatter and much larger wheat fields in Montana.
What’s going on, I’ve seen a lot of your videos but have missed out on your change of harvesters, I would be pleased if you could update me on your decision. Thanks 🙏 🇦🇺🙏👍
The green bean plants you see in the field are intentionally put into the seed bags and boxes. This is how the seed companies know that you are not taking seed out of the bin and replanting it. Its their way of protecting their technology.

Good video Tracy how is Jim doing? I mean grumpy Jim we’re harvesting here in Wisconsin. Be safe.
He’s really not as grumpy as he appears. 😉
He’s pretty tired. Been going hard for a month now. I think he’s ready for a rain day. Which there is none in the near future.
Great video, great to watch the combine again!

Welcome back to Channel
👍🏻
Good to see you again. I really enjoyed it all the windshield time i guess it's the old truck driver in me. Lol. Have you seen any eagles yet?
❤️AMER1CA❤️
I saw one yesterday! Not very close though.
Johnny Cash in the cab; sounds like KVCK out of Wolf Point, MT to me! LOL
👍🏻🇺🇸
A good day of harvest. Sunshine, dry crop, and Johnny Cash on the radio...
Yes!! Perfect!
Looks like Lee has to pay a lot of attention to maintaining the erosion control meadow strips (channels?) on those hilly loess fields there in southeastern Nebraska. Must make cutting right much more of a challenge when compared to flatter and much larger wheat fields in Montana.
Yes! If he doesn’t, there’s a lot of ditches and wash outs.
Good video
❤️
those kids would love to ride along.
They would.
Does Kermit say "Ribbet" instead of 10-4? He's a rock star
😂
Soybean harvest is pretty much wrapped up here in southern Manitoba Canada
What’s going on, I’ve seen a lot of your videos but have missed out on your change of harvesters,
I would be pleased if you could update me on your decision.
Thanks 🙏 🇦🇺🙏👍
Watch this video. It’ll help you better understand - th-cam.com/video/xWDxXQsOuDI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Cvwgw3Siy2azvXFO
Tracy do you have a preference between terraces in NE or coulees in MT OR doesn't it matter as long as you are harvesting?
Doesn’t matter. But I love the Montana scenery!
The green bean plants you see in the field are intentionally put into the seed bags and boxes. This is how the seed companies know that you are not taking seed out of the bin and replanting it. Its their way of protecting their technology.
Very interesting! Thank you!!
Lee better get on the ball or he's gonna get fired! 😂
Fact!
Good to see back in the New Holland instead of those Green things{John Deer} even better would Be the IHC reds better than green!!
(I agree with the NH comment!) we used to run a Case combine before the NH.
