Great shave Chris👍Love the soap mate. I think I have been unlucky with Voshkod blades in the past lol I think I have 3 packs and all have been very disappointing in terms of QC.. I may invest in another pack but to be honest there are so many great blades out there to choose from we are spoilt for choice🙂 Congratulations on growing your channel so quickly mate, you deserve all the accolades you have recieved. Great shave. My shave to end 2021 was the King C Gillette razor with an Astra SP blade, SW Carpathia soap, Omega 10066 brush, Skin Bracer AS and the Harry’s Post Shave Balm. We’re having a snowstorm in my Chicago area with several inches expected. It’s the first major snow weather we’re having after a long wait for snow. We did have like a bit of snow sometime after Christmas to end the drought, but this time, the snow is getting heavier. Have a good 2022!

Hitting home with this one Chris. I'm with you on the Atomic Rocket. It was the first good brush I bought and it has pretty much ruined me for other brushes. Not that I can't use them, just that it takes more work than I'm used to. Blades are funny as well. I keep trying blades again after not having liked them before and find them to be better, either over time or, more often, when I use them in different razors. I just picked up 200 Voskhods on a crazy deal so I'm set on those for ever? Thanks for the video!
Thanks Adam.. I appreciate it buddy. The PAA Atomic Rocket is my favourite PAA brush at the moment and I really like the Star Craft. But my opinion changes all the time, that's what I love about this hobby. The topic of blades is very controversial as we all know but I never give up on a blade until I have tried it in a few different razors. The Voskhods don't work in every razor for me but when you get the right razor Wow!. Hope they work very well for you. Take care and stay safe;-)

Nice New Years shave Chris! I'm waiting for Moon to make some splashes( hopefully 😉) before I buy more of their soaps. Union will probably be one I get. Does it smell similar to any other brands of barbershop? SOTD: Stirling Oro Valley soap and splash, Stirling 24mm synthetic brush, 1959 Fatboy with a Permasharp Stainless blade, and some Nivea Sensitive Soothing balm. Have a good one! Steve

The Union is the most realistic barbershop scent to me that I have come across. And no it doesn't in my opinion, it has it's own unique scent. I LOVE it. I have yet to use my Oro Valley. I had my second shave with the Parker variant 3 days ago, looking forward to my next one today, if i could do a little jig i would, one thing though is my lather not great atm i'm using TOBS unscented cream does anyone know if this brand has a good lather normally?

I had my second shave with the Parker variant 3 days ago, looking forward to my next one today, if i could do a little jig i would, one thing though is my lather not great atm i'm using TOBS unscented cream does anyone know if this brand has a good lather normally?
Hi Palmer.. Thanks buddy I appreciate it. Glad the Parker is working out for you. TOBS is normally a great lather and one of the easiest to work with. You may have a bad tub, it happens sometimes. Best get another tub but a scented one from a different vendor. Then you will know if it is the cream or not. Hope this helps, take care buddy and stay safe;-)
