And of Course Bog big Kudos to you upon your admission to McGill University. I hope that your personality and aspirations are more developed as you start your LLM journey. I know and believe you will WIN big at the end of your programme.
Wow, April what a fantastic video you’ve put out on your channel. I mostly wonder, how are you able to organize the video to make it really good? You’re truly awesome.
Thank you April for this Insightful guidance. OMG its eye opening. From the very first video of yours I watched. I have turned my notification up to always listen to your educative experience. congratulations on the Fellowship and wish you the best of luck in your LLM🤗
This video has contributed to postgraduate application info lit. Thank you very much! plus waiting for the 'study permit application' video and not ruling out if you could please do video on academic scholarships in Universities in Canada.
thank you sooo much for watching! I hope to get the study permit video out ASAP! I'll try to do a scholarship one as well but i'm not sure what i can share besides my experience haha
Great you mentioned the long essay/thesis. Sometimes, students think it's too difficult/not necessary and choose other options if available. And then when they're asked to submit a writing sample during grad school applications, they are found wanting. That's how someone who had contacted me about applying to my school asked me to give her my undergrad thesis! Like what! For the where! Why will I even do that? So I'll be implicated for plagiarism!😀 The audacity of the person!
hi, congratulations. id like to ask the rout to becoming a lawyer in Canada, if you could a video on that, cause most video and websites are targeted for ITL. what about just having a law degree from Ghana.
Congratulations April. Your video is informative and very helpful. Can you please give names of the schools you applied to in the Netherlands ? And their scholarship opportunities as well.
It's hard to say. I applied to the Dutch schools first . I completed the applications in parts so i can't say the exact number of days, was in the space of about a month maybe for both the Dutch and Canadian unis
April what inspired you to go do your LLM if you don’t want to be a lawyer. And what’s the difference between going to the Ghana School of Law and pursuing LLM. I’ve been wanting to ask for a long time
U must not be in the legal field. LLM has nothing to do with becoming a lawyer. It is usually an academic masters degree and I think she said she wants to teach law, im not sure but that's what I remember. To teach law the academics is what is important (masters, PhD). U can also do other work in the legal field with an LLM. Ghana School of Law is to practice law in Ghana. Practising law is different from being in legal academia or working in the legal field
Even with practising law, if you want to practise outside Ghana u would still have to do Ghana School of Law equivalent outside Ghana. Some people want to practise law but not in Ghana so this makola problems are not for everyone
hi Angie! Doing an LLM is not related to practicing as a lawyer and I've always wanted to do an LLM, I even said that in one of my first videos here hahaha. The GSL process enables you to get a certificate to practice law in Ghana. An LLM is an academic law degree
It’s been a while, found out about you and your TH-cam weeks ago and been waiting for you to accept my Instagram follow request and also to kind of be your “mentee” so that I could ask one or two from you once in a while April. I just got admission into law school in UCC in Ghana and I’d really love and appreciate it if you accept my request so I could reach out to you sometimes even though you might be occupied with school and other personal stuff. I hope your stay isn’t all that challenging and things are falling in place gradually? Waiting patiently to hearing from you. Thanks for the insightful videos and all the very best!☺️
hi Maame, i dont accept many follow requests so i can't identify which person is you. Kindly send me a DM identifying yourself and you can get straight to point about any question or concern you have:)
