Me, a UCL student, haven't been to campus all year so this video sadly didn't help many people this year.

I worked there for three years in the 1980s. In those days they still had the Beadles (like in Charles Dickens). They also used to put Jeremy Bentham out on display in his glass cabinet. I wonder if they still do that? If you really want to know something, I can say that UCL is a great place to go if you want to make friends in high places. Just as good as Oxford or Cambridge, perhaps even better, because it is a more compact place. You will be surprised at the people who's children go to study at UCL. You will also be surprised by some of the famous and important alumni who return for various functions and events.
Yes, Jeremy Bentham is still on display, now in the student center :)
Have a UCL staff account as a post doc researcher but haven’t had that chance to really work there since Covid-19’s

I did not work out for me because UCL did not give me an offer this year because of my very bad A level grades. But hey on the bright side I am settled in University of Bristol now! Can’t complain tbh but still gonna work my way through to masters at UCL!!!

Hi, unfortunately we do not use that campus as part of our department. But, it is very close to the Bloomsbury campus and there a lot of things to do in the area.

The main campus of UCL is very small. Smaller than you thought, remember this.
Yep, this video is pretty much everywhere you will go in this uni. You can walk from one side of the main campus to the other in 5 mins
I feel like we're so lucky though cause we're right in central, plus the British Museum literally 5mn away from Foster Court 😍

Yes as far as I'm aware as long as you're a UCL student you have access to the student centre

Hi! Does anyone know which UCL accommodation is the most popular and fun? I love to go out and I’m super social! Any tips would help!!
Hi, I was in St Pancras for a year and it was very lively and social! Just a heads up though that when we got allocated accommodation a couple years back, we couldn't put down which buildings we would prefer to be in, they were given to us randomly based on things like your preferred room cost and whether you want catered/self-catered etc. I'm not sure if that's changed but I don't think it has. Best of luck!

How many days are you expected to go into this university? Is it 5 days a week like sixth form or different
It depends which course you are studying for example in my masters year it was 4 days a week, each of the days had one 3 hour lecture. My bachelor degree was mostly 5 days with varied classes on each day like sixth form. Hope this helped 👌🏾

Yeah they do have scholarships for international students, if you search UCL scholarship finder you can filter by country and it'll show you application dates and who is eligible

My class was 90%+ Chinese in one of the more mathematical postgrad programmes at UCL. I have nothing against the Chinese community, but in my honest opinion if a class distribution amounts to more than half the class being of foreign origin, its an immediate red flag, (obvious reason being intl. students pay atleast 20% more than locals so its a cash cow programme rather than an educational setting). So I suggest researching which programme you wish to commit to smartly if you are hellbent on UCL.

Hi not quite sure in the number however there are various sports team and we would say all are the best 😂!

They have many tiers of teams and many trials so you should get in just fine 🙏🏽 great facilities

Is UCL a difficult place to get in?
I wanna try for Accounting courses for 2021 Sept intake.
UCL is one of the best universities of London and UK. They have high standards to accept new students, but they have a really huge amount of students! It all depends if you meet their requirements and have a good personal statement/ recommendations! Also applying for sept. 2021 here

Imperial is better for science
icl is better for sci and eng, but a degree from either will have identical job opportunities, both top 20 worldwide
from what I've heard, iCL is a lot more stressful/difficult and is ranked slightly higher but I like UCL more

It depends on the course you choose and if ur from UK/EU or international! For exemple, im applying for business, it's around 9K / year for UK/EU students and 22K / year for international
