1:58 nope, you got a minimum of 2 shells, first shell for 11k dmg and the second got the highroll for the deto. 40.800-11.600=29.200=71,57%>75%=cance for a detonation. Shit happens, but that was the mechanic.
No, if you look closely there was only 1 shell hit and that was a hit on the citadell. So if 1 shell puts you under 75% health you can detonate from that shell
