    What a joy to see this video! I am just now relearning to play the piano after a 40 year hiatus of not playing anything due to having moved overseas and couldn't take my cherished piano with me. I'm now retired and my piano has been restored and returned to me in beautiful condition so now I'm reteaching myself from scratch the old notes I once knew. Sad to say it is not like riding a bicycle - I've forgotten every note I ever knew - but I'm having more fun this time around. Thank you so much for your video! I was not aware that there were so many great apps for musicians and people trying to become musicians. I can't sing a note but hopefully one day soon I can at least play a few.

    Very good video. Lovely voice! I'm a singer too and I play uke.
    The biggest issue I have with ForScore is I don’t believe they have a Dark mode. Plus a lot of apple people can’t get shared music off of google drive. The learning curve is intense and I’m pretty computer saavy (PC). I normally use an Android tablet so I use MobileSheets which is much easier to use. I don't need a score, I just need a lead sheet.

    You are incredible. I wish I could bottle you to have you available when I need inspiration. I will use all these apps... I have a band and play out 4-5 times a month. I struggle to remember lyrics, tempo, and other notes to have ready for the band when I am on stage. These apps will help so much. Just a joy to watch you and your presentation. Such passion... truly inspiring and I barely know you...only watched this one video!!! Yay!

      @@SingwithCinderella lovely, thanks! I don’t know much about these things, do I need the iPad to be cellular or just Wi-Fi for forscore? Do you find your 3rd gen iPad Pro gives instant response? Also do you use a pedal to change pages? Many thanks, Lee

    • @SingwithCinderella
      @SingwithCinderella  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@widgypoo you don't need wifi forscore at all actually! For example, you could be in an airplane and looking at your music. I have my scores backed up to the cloud though and it is connected to wifi. I love the third generation iPad. You can check this pedal out:

    Can Music Scanner play the piano part and select different vocal part (eg. alto)at the same time? and output as an audio file?

    • @SingwithCinderella
      @SingwithCinderella  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can select different staves by selecting them and play them individually. However you can’t select piano + alto at the same time, for example. You would have to import the MP3 individually. It would be a nice feature to select different parts in a mixer….there’s actually a new app that does this and I might do a review soon on it!

    • @SingwithCinderella
      @SingwithCinderella  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sibelius is a notation software that now has an app for iPad! It definitely takes some getting used to on the iPad compared to desktop

    • @SingwithCinderella
      @SingwithCinderella  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be amazing!! I don’t know of any iPad apps that notate as you play. Sibelius ARTIST, originally computer software that now also has an app, has that feature! I’ve never personally used it and so I’m unsure of the accuracy. Hope this helps!

    Can you add measure numbers in Forescore? It is very time consuming when preparing for orchestra. Invariably conductor always says lets start at measureXXX. It would be really nice if there was an easy way to add.

    • @SingwithCinderella
      @SingwithCinderella  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! That would be a really nice feature to have, I agree! Unfortunately, the app currently doesn't do that and I manually write in the measures. If you prefer typed numbers you can also use the text tool to put them in...a time consuming process though.
