Why couldn’t this be on my yt page earlier I just took mines of today (it was my first time) and now my nails are very damaged so is the skin around it 😭😭
Same. I'm used to my acrylics lifting or breaking after two weeks so I didn't realize how hard these would be to remove lmao. I thought I could just pop them off....joke was on me 😭
I know I’m late but I was thinking on doing these myself! I’m a beginner to these but I tend to pick stuff up quickly. I was wondering if you absolutely need an e-file for prep and removal? If you see this could you also maybe give me some tips? Thanks!
No you don’t actually need an e-file. You could use a regular mail file. - make sure the artificial mail covers all sides of your natural nail. - moisturize cuticles/hands regularly (it makes it look better) - if you get glue coming from the sides and tops of nails, PLEASE file it away! Coming from a beginner. I’ve done this one time before and I’m getting ready to do them again. Soaking off the old ones now.
I've been using a nail file and I would def recommend an e-file, it's just faster and easier. I'm about to purchase one bc I'm sick of the regular file lol
You don’t need to wait because our nails get nutrients from our blood it doesn’t need to “breathe”. You could have nails on most year if you wanted so long as your nails are healthy! From a gel-x nail tech !
@@JeepWrangler2024 🤦🏻♀️ Girl 3 weeks later and my nails are still messed up. Haven’t put on a new set since. But I might just get acrylics done for Valentine’s Day then pay a nail tech remove them. And do gel-x on my next set.
Hey , can u help me ?! I got gel nails like week ago ! They put on the fake nails too ! I have already removed the gel but the nails are still on ! I tried nail remover and warm water too
@@babybear1576 Go back to the salon and ask them to remove them. But ask them to be drilled and soaked off, not popped off. Cause some nail techs will try to pop them off and it causes damage.
I did all of that, but my gel was stuck to my nails like concrete. Had the acetone soak them for 40 means. Nails are damaged and still some gel left on my nails. 😢
Uhm thank you algorithm, my gels are peeling badly and I need them OFF😅 just got my stuff out so I could do them in a bit. Wanted to look up a refresher on how to properly remove them and boom, here you are🥰🫶tysm

Why does it not work for me with acetone and those nail clips? It just doesn’t penetrate it enough! Someone?

By the way, you will basically never want to use the bits that a drill comes with because they're often extremely abrasive. 😅
How long do you wait to redo your nails after removing them if you wanted to do gel x nails again? :)

Your nalis was so cute and pretty ❤
I have had gel polish on my natural nails for 6 weeks now when should I take it off?😊
How long do you nails normally stay on and do you have any tips on how I can make them stay on better?
I need this!!!
Where did you buy your nail drill?
What builder base did you use??
She uses a dehydrator then the primer and a thin coat of glue
What kind of drill do you use?
The problem fo rm is I have no E file, so I can't file it off. I don't have one because I don't have money I can spend to buy one right now. :(
You can use a hand file I recommend a 180 grit! It will just take longer to file off🤍
Did you use the builder base as the glue?
What the name of the glue you useeee
Omg how do you get them to last?
Anyone know how to remove them while preserving your nail length underneath, or is that not a thing?
how are those 2 weeks?? they look a day old 😭😭
do you need a drill? im a beginner and im scared to use one 😭
You can use a gritty nail filer, but remember you control the drill.
Where can I buy the acetone??
Amazon, drug store or any beauty supply store
Where do you buy those things
Amazon
Do u need a drill ?
