You could certainly attach your sleeping pad to exterior of the pack with some straps and then have room for your sleeping bag and fishing gear on the inside! However, this will be entirely dependent on the size/weight/bulk of the gear you have. If you're bivy camping, have ultralight gear, or are using a hammock rather than a tent you should be good. Overall the pack capacity is 25L/1526 cu. in.
This is a Huge facelift. This is one of the best looking backpacks I've seen and I've been shopping for months.

It is heavy rain waterproof. Not fully submergible though.

Planning on doing a small over night backpacking/fly fishing trip.. think this would suffice for a small sleeping pad and bag plus a fly box or two?
