watch some of my newer more current videos. I now have it mounted in the keel of the hull right in front of the engine using $4 "duct putty". it was way easier to mount, and it works a lot better.
@@nolimitsaz Correct. No more water temp. Might be important if you are fishing, but not important for my use...I know April and october are going to be chilly....so I determined it doesn't actually matter HOW chilly it is...i still wear the same neoprene gear. (neoprene socks have become the best and easiest option)
bravo...like to see the a vid pointed straight at the belly of the ski speaking on chop and you upgraded grates to offset such. i like how you guys went into comparisons.really every modd you guys did deserve a short vid.for having both you could do a few comparison type vids that would help guys out.thanks for focusing on confidence and convienace .
Thank you. Recently we added a 50 lb bag of steel shot to the nose of each ski. Took 1mph off top end but handles so much better in chop. I have another video on it. If you search my channel.

Hi ! I have a 15 FX HO and I was considering the riva intake grate but I was not sure because it allows for more debris into the pump …what is your feedback with this grate on your HO ? Any top speed loss ? Did you feel it more hooked up to the water ? Thanks buddy
I have a ride plate and the riva grate and it still only goes 58mph... Same as factory. I have had these performance intake grates on my machines since 2012 and have not sucked any rocks through the pump.
I just bought the same 17FX, so this is super helpful. I love the transducer wire through the drain plug. Genius!!!

Nice setup 💯
Looking good. What is that RAM part number on the left dash dry storage?
RAP-B-366U. Remove the hex screw, then thread in your standard 1/4"-20 threaded bolt from the opposite side.
Great video! What year is that ride plate on your fx?
It is the factory ride plate, custom cut by Jim's performance. about a $300 job.
do you have name of place in Houston for transducer bracket & price thx

What’s the battery switch mounted to?
we have since replaced our custom battery switches with "macboost" compact battery switches that sit right on top of the negative terminal
