IOW, instead of handing the aliens quantum teleportation, you handed them a really big bomb. Given the lack of concern from the human generals though, it might just be a really expensive bomb when much cheaper alternatives are already available.
On another note, deterrence is a beautiful thing. Let them know you know what happened, how it happened and why it happened and that you can replicate it faster and easier than they can. (especially if you might be closer to teleportation) They already lost a lot of resources without getting to analyze the results properly. (It doesn't seem like peace was much of a discussion topic, but it might be pretty soon).
Ah, a Sci Fi version of "The Man Who Never Was", that was a great movie from 1956. And he got rid of a research planet and its solar system and as a bonus several more systems and bases.
I wonder how much of their R&D staff was disappeared. There's a tendency to bring in more experts to observe late stage experiments. They may have been set back a decade or more.
So, you're saying that our alien enemies might now have the capability to create black holes in any solar system? What's to stop them from making one in the Sol system?
Ah, the joys of having competent and creative intelligence agents...
Great story; Excellent narration! Always question when "information" falls into your hands. LOL!!!

Sounds like operation Mincemeat WWII before Normandy.
Quantum teleportation, quantum detonation, quantum implosion... It's a matter of perspective, really.

A like and Comment for my favorite Narrator, as well as appeasement to keep him in my algorithms for videos.

Sounds like you learned how to make a new bomb

The idea that proper compartmentalization of secret research means the con died with the pros.
