Hello again jon.. Having watched this video twice , I'm getting that merino tee shirt . Plus I now think it's safe to say you're one of the world's leading travel tech and gear experts . Phenomenal video. Nobody will improve upon the kit you tested in this video . It's that simple . Well done jon.
Great Video! One important thing. As someone who lived in Arizona for several years (plenty of scorpions and venomous snakes, including rattle snakes), all these bite kits DO NOT WORK, they are a scam. If you are bitten by a venomous snake, the only thing you can do is go to the nearest hospital to get the antivenom. If you want to help, use a pen or sharpie to circle the bite and make a note of the time of when you were bitten. This will help hospital staff identify how quickly or slowly your body is reacting to the venom. But DO NOT rely on one of these kits, it is 100% BS. Hope it helps. Safe travels! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for the feedback - it does generate a lot of suction so you would like to think it would do something (surely better than trying to suck the venom out movie style!) and it would make sense for a bee sting (need to keep the sting in place when using apparently) and my mate uses it all the time for mosquito bites - but yes, irrespective your advice sounds good to me.
I've added a comment above. Suction on a snake bite is not recommended. Compression bandages and identification as well as staying calm to slow toxin spread is the advice given in Australia until you can get the right anti-venom.
@@JonGadget Suction stimulates the innate immune system of an inflammatory response. That response INCREASES BLOOD FLOW to the area so accelerates the transmission of whatever is there to the rest of the body. To reduce flow into bloodstream you need to suppress the imflammation so ice, compression, etc.
@@JonGadget I can't speak about mosquito bites, but pretty much every Park Ranger, Nurse, Doctor, etc. in Arizona will tell you that all these "bite kits" do not work for snakes. In the case of scorpions, most scorpions are not deadly to a grown healthy human with no pre-existing health conditions. Arizona has the highest scorpion concentration in the USA, and I believe it's within the Top 5 places with the largest number of species, so more than half the people at my office had been bitten at least one time by a scorpion, it was like the most normal thing in the world, jajajajaja. Fun fact if you hit adult scorpions with a black light they glow, it is super cool.
Thank you for making your videos. This; and the other two that you’ve linked, are by far the best travel related videos I’ve seen. The thorough analysis, the detailed descriptions without unnecessary information, only pertinent stuff, and proper testing, is unmatched in my experience. From someone who has travelled a lot and always struggled with keeping things lean, I am so appreciative of this video and you in general. Been watching your videos recently and I think I’ve never found someone’s videos so well aligned with my needs. Also, your way of thinking is clear, and sharp. So grateful for you :)
Get merino underpants and socks! Absolutely brilliant. My personal choice for the underpants is Triple Aught Design Commando Briefs. Possible to wear for multiple days, but also can be washed in shower and dry quickly. Well worth it!
Second merino socks & undies as the best ! Socks last longer without laundry the undies/boxes can yet I don’t push more than two days if needed as rather just rotate laundry them…they’re just amazing if have a sweaty butt like I get in summer or hot climate or vinyl seats or on bicycle lol my favourite to wear just make sure to not use oxyclean in detergent. The blends for me got holes in them after just one summer in smartwool boxers so definitely a pricey item at +35$cdn a pair.

I have 100% wool socks and can tell you they're totally amazing at NOT stinking! 😁 So, wool clothing in many forms is on the list. I have 100% wool blanket, winter glove liners, hat, and plan on wool shirts, pants/trousers, etc. in future.
Glad that it was a great trip and thanks for the update regarding the performance of the chosen gear. But regarding the shown "suck out venom" device: I do not know if it will lower the itching from mosquito bites, but I am pretty sure, that will have no effect to the venom of snakes and scorpions. Please make yourself a picture, but in my opinion you can save yourself the space
@@JonGadget I suspect you know better than most that “claims” are just that 🙂 DEET and hydrocortisone are the winners for mosquitoes, and you should get to a bloody hospital (or carry actual antivenom) for anything serious.
Brilliant video with excellent recommendations which have hit my credit card really hard (again!!) FYI: bought the Matador backpack last week at £224.31 and it attracted UK import taxes etc. of £62.54 if anyone was thinking of purchasing. Also, M&S sell pure Merino wool T's & Polo's etc. for £36 which I bought and are really good.
Great Video. The Unbound Merino is an excellent find. I had recently seen a video extoling the virtues of merino baselayers on the excellent Trekitt TH-cam channel. More expensive than synthetics but the value is in having a quality piece that lasts.
Distill union Micro Wally is the best wallet I’ve used ! Its even better than Belroy sleeve that we both have… it’s beautiful leather, super lightweight, can hold more cards or cash without stretching out, has pull tab also, can even reverse to have two looks of leather. Picked up one and love it. And I got their MagSafe Wally which can hold three cards or I do less with cash if needed when want my ID on me when just using phone tap mostly.
@Jon Gadget I really like the carry-on backpack I just wish it had 3 additional features: 1) capability to stow away shoulder straps, 2) trolley sleeve & 3) ability to make the bag less tall & appear more personal item size for the super strict airlines. I envision something like completely zippering up the bottom compartment to reduce bag height. Oh, & I don't recall if the bag has a spot for a water bottle or not. I always enjoy your fun & informative videos! Glad you're home safe.
Thanks for the kind feedback - is a trolley sleeve the same a s a luggage pass through (because it does have that which I might have missed!) - agree shoulder straps are quite evident - there is a large water bottle pocket on one side.

I'd never heard of Revolut before. The concept was something I'd thought about and wished it had existed, years ago... so this is great to know it's finally here! Excellent way to protect yourself from potential financial theft.
Firstly - CONGRATULATIONS on flying past the 100k subs. Brilliant! loved the video - especially the travelogue at the start. Your pre- and post-trip videos work really well together - are you planning some more of these? I am a big fan of Revolut and use it when travelling myself. I have seen a lot of positive comments about merino wool garments and I want to move on from using them as base layers. Unbound are a little pricey - so I will look for some good quality alternatives.
Thanks for the feedback - yes, thrilled to have crossed 100K 😊 Good to hear you liked the content - I agree Merino t-shirt very expensive - none are cheap as far as I can see but worth shopping around.
I wear Kathmandu merino t-shirts daily. Get them on sale (never shop at Kathmandu if there’s not a sale). They do have nylon in them as well, but I can confirm they last years of frequent wear. They eventually pick up smell, but certainly not after one day of wear. I stopped keeping track; I just do the smell test each day and wash as needed. Wearing one right now in fact!
I love my Cotopaxi Alpack 28l pack. It looks similar to yours, with a clamshell design. I travel with it extensively and it even fits under my airline seat when I have to. Great video, Jon!
I always look forward to your videos and I found this one particularly brilliant. As usual, it has cost me money on buying something I never knew I needed, but life’s for living at the end of the day 😊 Keep up the wonderful content. It’s a brilliant channel 👍
I love checking your videos out before traveling. I only travel for leisure 4/5 times a year. Going on a trip next week :) My current travel setup: Bag: Sympl Weekender Backpack w/ Hero Clip attached Luggage: Monos Carry-On Pro Dopp: Aer Travel Kit 2 Wallets: Bellroy Hide n Seek & Nomad card holder Charger: Anker 737 power adapter Power Bank: Nitecore NB10000 Laptop: M1 Macbook Air Headphones: Airpods Pro 2 Drone: DJI Mini 3 pro Watch: Apple Watch Ultra Phone: iPhone 12 pro (will be upgrading to 15 this year) Flashlight: Nitecore Tini 2 Stainless Steel Will be ordering that orbitkey hand sanitizer dispenser featured in this video! Also need a passport sleeve
Awesome b roll, mate! Glad you enjoyed the trip. This insect bite remedy looks super helpful. Every time I travel its like the local mosquitos have been waiting for me
Thanks Jon. I was looking forward to your experience using your kit. I read a lot of what people take on their carryon only trips but few ever tell of how it went and how they would improve. I am currently on a trip using a similar setup to you but had to bring a laptop as well for some work. Unfortunately your video came out after I started my trip. I didn't bother bringing a razor but let my beard and hair grow out. It was ok but I think I will give your suggestion a try next time. I saw your friends bite kit and while it would be ok for the most part I wouldn't recommend it for snakes. The recommended approach is stay calm, compression over the bite, identify or take photo of the snake to get the right anti-venom when help arrives. Prevention is better than cure. If you can't avoid contact then snake gaiters and solid shoes might help.
THANK YOU. One of your best videos. 🙏🏻 From a somewhat-regular long-distant international traveller: ✈️ (1) Appreciate the trip montage. (2) Confirming merino wool is worthwhile (I use low-cut merino wool socks all the time). 👍🏻 (3) Intrigued by eyeshades, Allbird shoes, and waterproof outer jacket. (4) Curious why choose Revolut VS Wise card? I’m still undecided. 🤷 (5) Bangkok airport security staff are very strict. Loss a pair of nail clippers. Looks like you escaped their challenge. 😊
Great feedback - thank you. Revolut is very visible in UK (good marketing?) Wise not so much. Revolut experience was flawless - I'm sure Wise could be too. Could be worth comparing exchange rates?
love packing video and love post trip videos like these, you gotta make more videos like this jon. I'm hoping to do similar type of travel with my new ULA dragonfly + Aer day sling 3 in the future. Great video
Thanks for all the tips! I switched to merino wool for travel quite some time ago. Nowadays even my regular clothes are mostly merino. A company I really like for more daily / business merino is Wolk Antwerp. There shirts really don’t pill.
Thank you for including the merino shirts in the review. Definitely going to give them a try as basically any shirt that I wear for longer than 16 hours on a hot humid summer day goes in the trash.
As a regular hiker, Marino wool is the way forward, as a super fabric, and well worth the investment Would be good to have some focus on made in UK kit?
In Thailand and many parts of SEA countries, tourist SIM cards are really cheap. For less than 5 quits you can enjoy 14 days of unlimited internet data. Nowadays people prefer to use mobile Apps to call to keep in touch with family and friends that uses those data. For most of my travel, I don't need eSIM which is rather expensive. I just ensure my mobile phone has dual sim slots 😊
Backpack - the one I use can't be bought as company bust - a GoLite 40L with removable hip belts - fits in any overhead but usually bigger than I need, they also did a 30L with a laptop sleeve which was perfect for me as I was doing business trips with a full laptop. I don't use as many smaller pouches as you as over the years of flying on a couple of occasions they'd switched aircraft short-notice to one with tiny overhead so I settled on 3 internal bags so I can quickly split the contents up and the backpack folds/rolls and so I can fit it anywhere. I agree with your use of a frame-less squish-to-any-storage-shape. Also a fan of Merino Wool, in my case I used Smartwool, and yes I get probably 5 days without pong INITIALLY. But even after washing the subsequent pong-free period is slightly shorter say 4 days. What restores back to as-new pong-free-period is leaving it out in strong sunshine for a day or two which kills what the washing hadn't removed. Typically you'd do that in summer months to restore back to as new. My merino wool I keep 2 long sleeve 2 short sleeve and I use them exclusively for long light travel. One trick you didn't mention is if you have 2 merino tops you can wear BOTH if cold. I don't travel with only 1 merino top in case of accidents (e.g. food spillage) and I can either wash it or just use as a layer. I am also a fan of a bumpag (aka fannypack) for travel as you can keep a few essentials on your person like a USB cable or toothbrush. It complements a daysack acting as a kind of hip support. If I'm not with a laptop, only a tablet like you were, I travel with 18L backpack and a bumbag. If i'm with laptop then I can't get smaller than 30L backpack. Footwear, if it's not business related then I find some Keen Newport work across a full gamete of warmer weather situations, including downpours (just get wet just let them dry) they don't collect odour so much, pack 1 pair of merino wool socks to wear when colder of which typically the coldest part of the trip is the flight! I fully agree with a tablet with LTE (phone capability) as backup phone. Mine is a Huawei 8.4 Mediapad M3 4 years old now but I love it. A bluetooth keyboard makes it a generally good system. Eye cover for sleeping - I use a dark Buff I fold a few times over eyes and a dark waterproof cap, combined I block all light and these are multifunctional items. A good (available currently) is a Montane Minimus Stretch Ultra Cap
Hmm, I am not aware of a backpack at such a nice weight, but I am quite happy with a modular Tac Pack 28 from Tasmanian Tiger which is 1.35 kgs with a back support containing an aluminum rod that can be removed. The Velcro inside allows for attaching different (compression) pouches, Molle on the outside, easy access to the insides, has compression straps. The straps are removable. Not sure about Thailand, but it works great both as a travel pack and a long distance hiking backpack that can take a hit or two all while being quite customizable to needs. Looking forward to my next adventure into the Alps!
I think I was impressed the most by the backpack. What a great find! I'll be traveling for a week to a conference in Switzerland soon. First time for me to be alone and to be with carryon only. This sure comes in handy to plan ny carry 😊
Check out the Anker Liberty series headphones. Nice fit in the ear, nestles in vs. needing to be stuck in and relying on the rubber tips, and great price point.
I had the same issue switching from gen 3 AirPods to AirPods Pro. Try the comply tips (and actually try ever size for a few days); works great, especially in transparency mode.
I was going to say much the same.. try different tips rather than different buds. Various ones / materials you can try. I found the fit, isolation and bass much better on some inexpensive ones. Great video, thank you.
Thank you for sharing the experience. I was visiting Thailand and Koh Samui about 25 years ago, and it is nice to see you were having a great time. Makes me want to go back. What did you use for sun protection?
If ye've never heard of a 'Swiss Tech Utili key' before... Then i suggest ye get one, have had one on my keyring for decades at this point. Never had a problem flying with it either as it looks like a key and noone gives it a second glance when it's with yer keys anyhoo. Dead handy when ye're wearing glasses too.
Actually I had one years ago and then purchased another when I lost it but it was a knock-off - agree this would be a great option - will get another (original)
Awesome review thank you!! I am a huge fan of merino wool. It’s worth the money in long run with cost per wear. I’m really interested in the pack…thanks!! 😊🇨🇦
Thanks for the video Jon, entertaining and informative, made me reminisce about my own trip a few years back where I wish I’d brought most of the things you did. Asia can be a challenging place to travel in so being prepped is certainly advisable. Anyway, I always end up picking a few tips and placing a few orders on Amazon thanks to you 😉 Welcome back.
Love all your videos Jon! Great EDC content! Just wondering why you chose to move away from the Able Carry Max, thought this was your perfect bag a while ago? Keep up the good work!
Very interesting! Thank you, sir, for your timely follow-through of actual credible experience with your previously described, explained, and well-thought-out carry-on travel kit. I'm glad it worked out so well for you in every important regard. It's always great to see people "who eat their own dog-food." 😁
Hey Jon 👊 I enjoyed the Montage, I have family out in Malaysia, and I'm looking forward to seeing them soon. I've always been an advocate of Merino Wool for many years, and in the last few seasons, I been getting some plain black T's from Aldi 100% Merino @ £18 each - absolute bargain! Some great products 👌 Thanks for sharing, Atb Gus👍
Did you use this as an under seat bag on the plane or stored overhead? Trying to decide If I can get away with using it as a personal item / under seat bag. Thanks!
Great video - filled with great info! Thanks! I've bought some All Birds, looking at merino wool t-shirts and told my friends about eSIM (you need iPhone X or newer and Galaxy S20 or newer so my phone doesn't support this), also recommending everyone Revolut or similar idea too!
Great video, I really like your travel and one bag vids. Quick question, did you use the regular or lightweight unbound merino t-shirts? I'm heading to Bali soon and I'm looking to give these a go. Thanks!
Just found your channel! I'm traveling to Thailand in August and always looking for ways to improve my COO (Carry-on only) set up - so this was a timely video! Am absolutely going to check into the Aspivenin - mosquitos LOVE me.
May I recommend the TOZO noise cancelling earbuds? They are budget priced. I have used it at work on 10 hours shifts to reduce noise at the warehouse plant I used to work at. I use it when I mow my lawn on my riding lawn mower to reduce noise and listen to music, during which I get sweaty but the TOZO earbuds hold up very well. And they are comfortable. For 1/3 the price of the high end model of Samsung and Apple earbuds, they are GREAT!!!! Sound quality is good and noise cancelling is awesome.
Take a look at the Beats Pro Noise Cancelling earbuds. I purchased a pair when my airpods no longer held a charge and they fit so much better. The noise cancellation is very good and they pair with the iphone just like Airpods because they're owned by Apple and use the same Apple chip as the Airpods.
Hi Jon, absolutely fabulous review and links to some great products. I am concerned however that so many ppl seem to have had issues using the liquid carry bags featured at UK airports in 2023 (Manchester /Birmingham / Heathrow / Edinburgh etc) as security say they are larger than the 20 x 20 limit. I'm assuming that you've never had issues?
Thank you for sharing! Very interesting! For insect bites let me point you towards the devices called "heat it". Also, with respect to Merino T-Shirts...those are great, but can tend not to last so long. There is a new alternative by a company, called Wijld. Give it a try...these are great!
No link to your t-shirts. Also can you do a video on how you organise your own clothes and toiletries at home? what gadgets and setup you have to manage all these would be wonderful to see
Love the follow up video and all you do. I do have one issue. I'm a licensed paramedic of over 30 years and I've checked with CDC and other reputable sources.....never....ever....suck, cut or mess around with ANY bites!!!! Insects, snakes scorpions etc etc. DO NOT use a tourniquet either. These actions will do nothing or even make it worse. Please consult a reputable physician or medical professional on how to treat bites, injuries, and medical issues. That being said....I am a devoted fan.
Great content! What is the difference between a prepaid card and the Revolut card? The pre-paid card can also be cancelled if lost and it cannot be used to access a bank account unlike a debit card.
Same functionality - but Revolut has a great currency conversion rate without fees in most cases and can all be done in the App - there will be equivalent options but this is the one I used on the trip and it worked great
Love the content. One question: I remember you went into a lot research to identify your pack of choice for travelling. So how did the Matador bag compare to the Able Carry Max ?
Hello Jon, you are doing a great job. You motivated me to create some edc bags and I ordered many products you recommened. I need your help. Could you please thell me the name or a link from the usb-cable of the "Philips One Blade"? I cant find it. Thanks a lot in advance Daniel
As far as the AirPods…I would keep an eye out for Sony WF1000XM line. I have the XM4 and have used them religiously for over a year. They are fantastic. You may want to wait for the next generation XM5, as they should be dropping soon.
Jon, I’d love to see you try the Zpacks Bagger Ultra 25l. 11 ounces! Like you, I’ve used versions of the one you used. My favourite is the Pakt travel backpack. But in about a week, we’re on a family trip. And I’m using this small light bag for the first time. Clothes for a week, tech bag, first aid kit, and toiletry bag. I still have space.
Rehose 22 packs are phenomenal however they are hard to get also Hyperlight Versa is a great convertible fanny pack that will easily attach to the front sternum strap and is made of Dyneema
For the Philips toothbrush: there is a USB-C chargeble version available. And for the One Blade Razor there's a USB cable available, unfortunately only USB-A, but at least no big power supply to take with you.
Well done Jon! Couple of questions + 1 comment: Q1 - you mention the Revolut Card in this video but in your Get-Me-Out-Of-Trouble kit I remember you had a Post Office Card as well - do you take both with you? Also, have you found any difference between using the Revolut and PO Card? Q2: A number of the links you provide are to US sites priced in USD so do you "bite the bullet on duty, etc, if the item is shipped from the US (also making it more expensive, or do they have UK sites)? On the comments side, I tried the AirPods Pro and they didn't fit me so I went for the Bose QC Airbuds which fit much better and are a "game changer". Thanks for a great video.
Can’t find the aspivenin pump for sale in Australia but at least I know to try my smallest vacuum Chinese cupping cup next summer when the mosquitoes start biting when I’m at home! Thanks.
I have the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II. The Apple noise cancelling buds dont fit me either. Think I have a weird shape ears, never had a fit problem with Bose ear buds. The sound of the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II is amazing and noise cancelling is so good !!
Interesting content! Thanks for sharing your travel gear! I just have a question about the revolut, does it automatically pay the right currency required when you use it or you need to manually set it up before using it? Thanks

Glad you had a fab time in thailand, cant wait to head over soon
Great place 👍
I love my Cotopaxi Alpack 28l pack. It looks similar to yours, with a clamshell design. I travel with it extensively and it even fits under my airline seat when I have to. Great video, Jon!
I'll have a look 👍 thanks for sharing
Looks like you were staying at Rambuttri Village Inn...I used to own a restaurant in the courtyard there. Looks like you had a good time here
small world! yes that's exactly right!
Don’t tell me you were the owner of Oh My Cod!?
@@moonlitspud I was.. the original owner.
@@chrisrodgers7945 Wow amazing. Really miss that place, especially with a hangover. Hope you’re doing well.
I always look forward to your videos and I found this one particularly brilliant. As usual, it has cost me money on buying something I never knew I needed, but life’s for living at the end of the day 😊 Keep up the wonderful content. It’s a brilliant channel 👍
Thanks so much, really appreciated 🙏
Fantastic travel tips, Jon! The Revolut card is a game changer!
id argue monzo is better since its an amazing app/bank aswell
I love checking your videos out before traveling. I only travel for leisure 4/5 times a year. Going on a trip next week :)

Awesome b roll, mate! Glad you enjoyed the trip. This insect bite remedy looks super helpful. Every time I travel its like the local mosquitos have been waiting for me
Great video. Thank you so much!
Thank you for a new doze of gadgets
And this bottle bidet can be really usefull in travels
Oh yes!
Your channel is great for great items I had no idea existed! I am absolutely putting in orders with Unbound and Matador at least.
Thanks for the great feedback - a few have mirrored you comments re snakes so will definitely take that on board 👍
@@JonGadget Thank you again. Appreciate your great work. 👍🏻
love packing video and love post trip videos like these, you gotta make more videos like this jon. I'm hoping to do similar type of travel with my new ULA dragonfly + Aer day sling 3 in the future. Great video
Good luck on your travels - ULA looks good 👍 and love AER
Thanks for all the tips! I switched to merino wool for travel quite some time ago. Nowadays even my regular clothes are mostly merino. A company I really like for more daily / business merino is Wolk Antwerp. There shirts really don’t pill.
I’ll check them out, thanks for the recommendation 👍
Thank you for including the merino shirts in the review. Definitely going to give them a try as basically any shirt that I wear for longer than 16 hours on a hot humid summer day goes in the trash.
As a regular hiker, Marino wool is the way forward, as a super fabric, and well worth the investment Would be good to have some focus on made in UK kit?
Good idea - although limiting!
A lot is!
Great feedback. But I prefer having data on landing without having to visit a kiosk. Happy with $20 spend for whole trip.
Loved the music. The montage was great. Valuable info also. Thx 🙏
Your videos are just the best, Jon!
glad you enjoyed the trip mate, love the vids and gear
This was a well informed and useful video especially the bites kit thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to feedback in detail really interesting
Another great trip review of travel items. Give me some more ideas of how to simplify my own packing and some new items to consider. Thanks!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you Jon. Great content.
🙏
Great feedback - thank you - I'll check it out 👍
I think I was impressed the most by the backpack. What a great find!
I'll be traveling for a week to a conference in Switzerland soon. First time for me to be alone and to be with carryon only.
This sure comes in handy to plan ny carry 😊
Great to hear Eyal 👍 Backpack is very good especially weight and compartment - quite ‘squashy’ but that works in this application.
Imagine how your travel EDC would have helped Michael Palin on his travelogues! This video encourages me to travel. Cheers!
I love Unbound and have their t-shirt in just about every color they sell.
Check out the Anker Liberty series headphones. Nice fit in the ear, nestles in vs. needing to be stuck in and relying on the rubber tips, and great price point.
Great info on the card and eSim.
Also a huge fan of merino…
great video clips of your trip and great tips👕
I would be super-interested in seeing the e-SIM in action, the process for switching from your built-in SIM to the app-based e-SIM.
I had the same issue switching from gen 3 AirPods to AirPods Pro. Try the comply tips (and actually try ever size for a few days); works great, especially in transparency mode.
great advice - thank you 👍
I was going to say much the same.. try different tips rather than different buds. Various ones / materials you can try. I found the fit, isolation and bass much better on some inexpensive ones. Great video, thank you.
Hello Jon , I am a big fan club from Bangkok, Thailand. Thank you so much for sharing more informative of how to arrange EDC.😊
Thank you for sharing the experience. I was visiting Thailand and Koh Samui about 25 years ago, and it is nice to see you were having a great time. Makes me want to go back.
What did you use for sun protection?
Thanks for your feedback. I think it might have changed a lot since then! In liquids bag you will see I have Factor 30 P20
Just a heads up that Revolut do charge conversion fees at weekends. They don't on weekdays. So convert any currency before the weekend.
yes - I saw that - needs to be during normal trading hours!
Thailand is one of my favorite place on earth for vacations 💕
You should def try foam ear tips for the airpod pros before trying another set. A cheap upgrade to greatly improve the fit.
Yes, good idea, someone else suggested Comply Foam 👍
I find the manta sleep eye mask to be really great. I've tried smaller ones like that before but the manta is better at blocking light.
Thanks Phil, appreciate the feedback, good to know it was useful.
I'm flying to Bangkok, then on to Koh Samui next week. A well timed video 👍🏼
Thanks for the kind feedback - appreciated
Hi, great video!
One small question, I couldn’t find the link to the ziplock bag you use for liquids. Could you link it here?
Hey Jon 👊
I enjoyed the Montage, I have family out in Malaysia, and I'm looking forward to seeing them soon.
I've always been an advocate of Merino Wool for many years, and in the last few seasons, I been getting some plain black T's from Aldi 100% Merino @ £18 each - absolute bargain!
Some great products 👌
Thanks for sharing,
Atb Gus👍
Nice. I hope you had a great time.😊
Great video as always.
Did you use this as an under seat bag on the plane or stored overhead? Trying to decide If I can get away with using it as a personal item / under seat bag. Thanks!
Too big for under seat unfortunately. Used in overhead.
Music in a video "boomo - no memories"
Just if you wonder.
Great video and nice gear!
Thanks!
That packs looks great. Its honestly hard to believe its only 28L. I have a 32L pack from the TNF and this one looks bigger
First time at your channel and loved this video.I love that bug kit. Does James have his own channel?
Great tips! Especially at the end. :-)
Thanks! :-)
Many days in Thailand and the tough gadget didn't tumble😅🤣.
I am using Icebreaker Merino clothes but I am intrigued by Unbound now. Will check it out thank you. Merino is amazing 💖
Also can you do a video on how you organise your own clothes and toiletries at home? what gadgets and setup you have to manage all these would be wonderful to see
Thanks for suggestion will put it on the list. Link stopped working, a quick Google should bring them up 👍
Your chinos/trousers look comfortable and versatile. Any recommendations?
The e-sim seems interesting. Do you need to uncheck the “turn on this line” in your settings to use it?
Hello Jon,
you are doing a great job. You motivated me to create some edc bags and I ordered many products you recommened. I need your help. Could you please thell me the name or a link from the usb-cable of the "Philips One Blade"? I cant find it.
Thanks a lot in advance
Daniel
As far as the AirPods…I would keep an eye out for Sony WF1000XM line. I have the XM4 and have used them religiously for over a year. They are fantastic. You may want to wait for the next generation XM5, as they should be dropping soon.
Hey Jon! I'm curious what you might think of the ZeroFeud Compact Utility Pouch. It seems to your liking
That backpack looks huge for a 28l
Jon great video 👍👍
Thanks 👍
The post office one might just be for domestic travel. I'm just assuming that, though.
Thanks
It uses local currency first I believe. I converted all funds to local which is why I’m not 100%
@@JonGadget thanks for the clarification!
