Great Band with a new sound but I must say the drummer is the hardest working drummer I have ever seen in my 69 years. His abilities and musical beat is amazing at the least. I do not think he gets enough credit for his abilites. I think he is sometimes forgotten or overshadowed by the lead singers.But I think he is a GREAT DRUMMER and MUSICIAN, I think if he does not get led astray by the quick side of the business he will be noted someday as one of the greats.

Lover of 20 years passed away in 2010. Roomate brought home Litttle Talks. I listened to it 300 times no less. It's magic transformed my attitude. It did not lesson my pain but it did even more. It kept me alive somehow. I cannot be more grateful. I am in love with life once again.

they are so genuine. no auto tune. no processed music. I shouldn't be eating processed food, like my music. refreshing to hear an authentic band who hasn't bowed to the big hand of the record label.

Outstanding performance, vibrant sound, arrangements and sound mix. Video direction and frame rate/encoding missed a way too many frames to keep up.
@@jepc92003 she's married with brynjar the lead guitarist and they have a baby. She is a mom now. She can't be in their band. But i think she contributes in the studio with the band making their new music

When my peers (b.1965) say that today's music is hopeless, I just smile and say these four magical words: OF MONSTERS AND MEN.
This is the only performance I've seen where they used the anacrusis at the start of little talks. Not a big difference really, but it simply makes it sound so much better.

I was there too. The rain during the lighting for Alligator was probably the coolest concert experience I've had. Wonderful show.

I was extremely lucky to see them at the Anthem in DC for their first night of the Fever Dream tour. Definitely one of my favorite bands. Cant wait to see them again whenever bands start deciding to tour again

I got lucky enough to see them in Chicago. They were SO good! The crowd was totally into them, and they seemed to be genuinely having a great time as well.

I remember many years ago watching vids of the band playing in small bars and pubs. One afternoon, not more then 100 to 150 people watched monsters and men perform on a tiny stage, with just as.many band member squeeze in. On the last.2.songs, the crowd went crazy. The couldn't stop cheering and screaming. Because of the close proximity to the crowd, the two singers in the band were stunned and seemed dazed and confused. I hope the 2 of them can now see why, on that day, why the crowd went ballistic..and the concerts and music continued, on a much larger scale.

Cristian Jose ..she was a session player. Never fully a member of the band. She is learning to become a speech-language pathologist. So I think we won’t see her playing anymore.
They need to get another horn player. She added a real cool element.

Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson probably one of the best drummers in the world. I'm not a drummer but I sure recognize it when someone is there to just keep the beat versus when someone plays the drums as an instrument. Arnar is an artist!

Why is Ragnhildur Gunnarsdóttir not touring with them ? Little Talks is terrible without her trumpet...
I don't remember which song it was but they really needed her trumpet. The song was kind of dead without it. That said, the group is much tighter than a couple years ago.
