    Infrared heat is delivered via radiant energy so it penetrates deep into the body. The thermal energy has several therapeutic effects, as I explain in this video.
    Consider trying this very inexpensive unit if you have on-going pain such as hip, knee, shoulder or lower back pain. It can also benefit high blood pressure, stress, fibromyalgia and a host of other disorders.

    Hi doctor, my concern with the cheaper saunas are the emf and other harmful radiations. Is that a legitimate concern? What are your thoughts?

    Is this far infrared or near infrared? I ask bc i want it for healing nerves muscles ligaments etc. Tia

    • @RikaMakara
      @RikaMakara 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It would be far infrared. When one just says “infrared,” that always refers to far. Far infrared is the invisible wavelength of light, invisible to the naked eye, that is. Near infrared is a red light. This is the best way to distinguish between the two. Far infrared is the most deeply penetrating/healing of the two.

    • @sukkhi2894
      @sukkhi2894 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RikaMakara Hello, thanks! can you please explain why the far infrared is the most penetrating/healing than the near infrared since I've learned otherwise? :)

    • @RikaMakara
      @RikaMakara 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@sukkhi2894 Hello, Sukkhi! I work for a company that makes the only medical-grade portable infrared sauna on the market, which was specifically invented by Taiwanese for NASA scientists. From what I’ve learned, far infrared penetrates more deeply into mammary tissue and at a cellular level. This causes a resonance of the water molecules within the cells, thus extracting toxins from the cells - where they are stored. The human body naturally generates far infrared energy, so think of it as supplementing a depletion of our natural supply. This is exactly why humans have the ability to be natural healers. Those who truly are know best how to harness this healing far infrared energy within.
      Near infrared does not penetrate at a cellular level, though manufacturers of these saunas will fallaciously tell you it does. Near is more for collagen reproduction and dermatological issues. Far will help to rid the body of toxins, inflammation/pain, heavy metals, Lyme, and multiple other things, and in turn, also help with dermatological issues. This is why, as I’ve been taught, far infrared is FAR more healing - pun intended. 🙂 I hope this helps!

      @@RikaMakara great info!! I screenshot this, gonna research more into this 👍🏽 So just to be clear THIS particular sauna and video pertains to FAR infrared... right??

    • @RikaMakara
      @RikaMakara 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@landapanda1 I'm glad it was useful for you. 🙂 Based on how the gentleman is speaking, I'd say so. Also, as aforementioned, far infrared is invisible to the naked eye. If it were near infrared, you’d see a red light. I can only speak for the sauna I promote, but do your research before purchasing because most of these portable saunas have such a low amount of healing FIR (far infrared) that they add heaters and there's a massive difference between far infrared heat and regular heat. Many don't realize that it's not just about producing sweat, but also about absorbing as much far infrared energy as possible for optimal cellular healing benefits.

    • @painandinjurydoctor
      @painandinjurydoctor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@noblesynceer4015 no, it's not. The technology is simple, electricity heats a heating element that heats ceramic tiles; the radiant heat you feel is infrared, and its wavelength is similar to what you get from sunshine. No need to worry about high electromagnetic fields; they are very low.
