To be honest I miss VsXIII's concept, it feels far more dark and tragic than the current game, the trailer just gave a sense of maturity and seriousness in tone when compared to what we know of XV that and I loved the Shakespeare quote about good and evil, it felt like a good setup for a story that would make you question whether you were doing the right thing or if you were good at all and may have allowed for multiple endings where you choose how the story unfolds. XV is nice but so far it's more of the same as far as FF goes in my eyes though to be fair I haven't played it so I don't actually know how it unfolds but from what we've seen so far the story doesn't seem nearly as dark as it was originally intended to be.

If Tabata really understood what Nomura's original Vision was all he would do was finish the game based on the step by step ideas that Nomura had made. However that's not what happened he made changes, then he made more changes and more changes after that. Even Roberto Ferrari who worked as character designer alongside Nomura stated in an interview he is shocked at all the changes that have been made he said there were characters even better than the ones we had seen thus far that we're now cut from the game. So there are many elements to this that I think people are forgetting to take into perspective. At the end of the day it's been 10 years we've all waited a very long time to play this game my only thing is that the true vision of what nomura was going for has been lost because of all the changes.
Versus as it was doesn't exist, the entire story is different than it was. FF15 as it was announced isnt even anywhere near the same. Nomura and Nojima(the original creator of this concept and script writer respectively) have not been on 15 for years.

The game that came out was so bubbly and light hearted and I played the demo and it seemed like a good game but this here gave me DRAKENGARD vibes and I loved that game so idk. But why were the soldiers on the palace walls? Where they cleaning the windows and then suddenly saw noctis coming towards them and was "this is a huge mistake taking this shift"
I still wouldnt mind this becoming a game. And the whole thing being depressing and heartbreaking. Then the ending is of him saving something like the whole FF universe by erasing his world. By doing that he somehow restarts his own universe with slight differences which becomes FF15 that came out already. Something like the anime ending of Angel Beats in a way, bittersweet but hopeful
i doubt he could. couldnt even save his own world without the power of kings. he also contributed very little in NT. the only FF mains i could think of who could pull that off would be the likes of Lightning and WoL (ff14)
Man.. Versus/XV stole the scene in the 2006 and it wasn't even an actual game. I hope that XV lives up to the hype, even if the director and a LOT of things are changed. Noctis has to wake up from this limbo and in a great way.

Kurisu K. I wasn't thinking that at all, but it seemed overall pretty weak. The combat was ok, but started to feel clunky and it was riddled with glitches and bugs especially the water reflections. And this all for a game that already went gold. I do have to give credit to some secrets hidden within the demo such as stronger enemies hidden away, but the over world felt pretty empty and useless and that caused some MGSV flashbacks.
Tabata did well, at least he somehow completed FF15 as a product. However, I still love this trailer so much! Maybe Nomura just couldn't do his job well, so I can't blame Tabata, but I wish they made the game this trailer was like!!

Yea. Old Concept Noctis was total badass. I really liked him but he felt super Cloudy. The new Noctis has personality, I like that they gave him friends. New Noctis was easier to buy into emotionally.

I can't believe anyone would give it more than a 3/10. It plays and feels like a shitty mmorpg with bad fetch quests and incoherent amateur attempt at a story.
