Haven't you guys thought about making a 3d video game about the Gospel and the early church (Acts/Nero's persecutions,etc)? People would learn a lot about Bible and History :)
I think this is the best animation you've done so far, but is it based off of only one of the four witness accounts in the Bible, or only parts. I'm only about 6:04 in, but John the Baptist knew Jesus was the Messiah before he baptized Him, and said that He was not worthy to baptize Him, but needed to be baptized by Christ (See Matthew 3:13), and when Jesus did the miracle of the fishing nets (See John 1: 40, 41), Peter responded by saying that he was a sinful man and asking the Lord to depart from him because of it (so he wouldn't be making that boast about being sinless (See Luke 5:8). Otherwise, this is powerful. I like the animation, and believe it can be a tool to lead people to the Gospel, yet it would be much better if those two changes were made. I think the meeting at the end needs some more work, too...Especially considering the flash backs, to put them back on the boat and repeat the fishing experience and have Peter jump into the water and come to Christ, as is recorded happening in Scripture, if it is possible. Seems like it should be with the animation skills demonstrated here already.

Yes it is based mostly on Matthew and Mark (with a few details from Luke around the arrival to Jerusalem if I remember correctly). Your notes are all helpful, and we could undoubtedly improve this in many ways. Unfortunately it is just cost prohibitive to include all the content one would want to. We spent a lot of time (and discussion) trying to trim the narrative down as much as possible. so we could animated it at all. We have also tried to cut out dialogue whenever we could so as to make the film ore friendly for non-English speakers, which is why some of the omissions you have mentioned have been made. Regarding what we have been blessed with the opportunity to make, if it is of any spiritual benefit to you all, I consider that a joy and privilege. Cheers -R
