If you want cheap floor material, find a scrap washer or dryer. The older the better as the metal is thicker. You can slice for corners and form them with a hammer and the enamel paint resists rust pretty well. Best part is they are usually free. 😂. I typically will use that and a tube of marine grade adhesive caulk with some self tappers. Beats trying to patch with a bunch of license plates IMHO.
I’m not even sure if the old Ohio plate will come off without breaking the mounting bracket lol. I really need to get this thing registered in my state soon
Camper is looking good. With the walls up!
Thank you!

That’s some good advice, I gotta remember that for the next rusty project
Amazing job! You've really made a ton of progress. Looking forward to the interior fit out.
Tune into next video. I’ve got so much interior work done that’s not in this episode
you are going to need some type of ventilation you build up both heat and moisture
I’ve got the little side vent that I still need to cut out. But I’ve also got the windows in the cab that I can roll down as well
@@Rusty.Datsun i lived in a camper for a year...you will need ventilation and you want to keep bugs out when getting the ventilation you want airflow
Hmm okay, I will figure something out
At least you can never get a ticket for driving without a license plate.

What happened with the Chinook?
Was way over my head with it and couldn’t find a long bed truck that I liked. So I sold the chinook camper to someone so that I could fund this rv
Son you should have replaced the entire floor in the cab.
It’ll be fine for now
