    thank you again, I checked the boot, no leaks found... then I took out the air screw and no washer and o-ring is present. I wanted to double check if it is needed (no o-ring in Keihin diagram) and you just confirm what I thought to be the air leak coming from. For the idle screw, I guess is just a sealant paste on the thread, mine had some gray stuff on it but not sure what kind.

  • @versatrix
    @versatrix 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You don’t set the float level ?

    • @coloradodirtbike5930
      @coloradodirtbike5930 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You only need to set the float level if you or someone else previously messed it up. The factory usually has the float set at the correct level. Bend the tang up or down and that adjusts the float level. The more fuel the richer the lower the fuel the leaner. On your needle the top (highest) groove is leanest, as you drop the clip lower (bottom groove is richest) it becomes richer. Your jets become leaner as you go down in number, and richer as you go up to a bigger size. If your more then 2 to 2.5 turns out on your airscrew your pilot jet needs to be resized, same as if you are 1 turn or less. Optimal for most bikes is 1.5-2 turns out on the airscrew.
