Thank you for filming the AOGG trilogy movies, I LOVE 'EM ALL and have watched many, many, many times to this date. The love story of Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe is an inspiration to everybody. You had an excellent choice of having Megan Follows and Jonathan Crombie as lead and lovely couple of the story. They are perfect match. Love 'em both. God Bless you all.

Absolutely brilliant! The music selection heavenly! There's never been a movie that I've enjoyed watching more than this and of Green Gables! It has soul! Truly it is a classic in itself. Thank you for presenting this for our enjoyment and touching our hearts!

Isn"t it amazing that Kevin Sullivan wrote sequels to Anne of Green Gables that are better than the original author's works? He must be an extremely empathic man to capture the essence of the characters so well. What a legacy he provided!
A Perfect cast! I say perfect! There can't ever be anyone else to duplicate these characters that are truly the original characters in the book! Beautifully done, magical, and brilliant, absolutely perfect each and everyone! I love Matthew. He reminded me so much of my own grandfather. So precious. A movie that became real and touched our hearts.
Nobody else can ever be Anne but Megan Follows. She is perfect.

Part of the genius of the script is Kevin's use of the Victorian prosaic speech. Anne's attempts to elevate herself by speaking in semi-awkward prosaic speech is so very endearing and forces the viewer to pay attention to the beauty that she's tapped into. Well done! Excellent casting, excellent setting, excellent choice of dramatic scenes to include in time you had to work with.

Thank you so much for the Anne of Green Gables series. I feel as though they are very authentic to the books, which I adore. The casting was just amazing. With all of the characters, they were so multi-layered. amThe series just made me want to see more and more of them.
I am sorry to say that for me, all other versions suffer by comparison
My daughter was watching this Anne with an E monstrosity and I had to share the 1985 gem with her🥰. She said it’s old but I can see why you like it, it’s better😁
I have the sequel on dvd and enjoy watching it from time to time. Its actually my favourite of all 3 movies.

May I make a suggestion??? Release the Entire Series on 4K Blu-ray and the Sequel and the Made for TV Movies as well on 4K. Now here’s the Biggest Suggestion - Bring ALL of it to Movie Theaters so the New Generation of Children can discover this Classic Gem 💎 of a TV Series!!!!!

I own all of these as I watch this I cry I loved this so much IT was so real and BEAUTIFUL I WAS ALWAYS SUCH A ROMANTIC THE PART THOUGH THAT HE SHOWED ABOUT MARILLA ABOUT ADOPTING HER JUSTCWATCHING NOW THE TEARS ROLLED KEVIN SULLIVAN THANKU SO MUCH SUCH A DREAM MOVIE THAT I GOT LOST IN WATCHED IT OVER AND OVER IT BROKE MY HEART ABOUT JONATHON HE MADE ME SO CRAZY FOR HIM IN THE MOVIE
The sequel may be a departure from the books' story, but it keeps the feeling and atmosphere. It is also true that because film medium is so different from book medium, it is quite impossible to cry for 3 hours straight while reading as one does watching the films.
A special note to the Sullivan Network there is a TH-cam channel that has uploaded all of these movies I don't know if that's right since it's not in their rights to do so so I want to give you a heads up. It's a French Channel with the name Anna Green Gables after the movie.

Anne's rejection of an older wealthy man resonated with me so much. And his agony over loving her was very painful to watch.
I loved watching all three movies.

But yeah, his version did improve on the books, while having similarities with them (Morgan Harris being that version's Roy Gardener, for example).
I don’t know whether I prefer the sequel or the first movie better, their both amazing…but I’ve never been able to make it though the third one. 😅 I wish they had a digital copy available. It’s hard to find on DVD

I have read the AOGG's books when I was young, later watched your movies. They are beautifully written & very lovely to watch. I have the older DvD's but I wanted to buy the new reproduced one's, I'm from Australia & I'm not sure if I can get them shipped here & if they will play here. But did You read about My suggestion about bringing all of these Parts to the Big Screen (Movie Theaters) and turning today’s Children onto this Great Classic TV Series??? I personally feel that this show has a Timeless Quality to it like Little House On The Praire, and The Waltons. There’s NOTHING on TV today like this TV Series.

I really missed Megan Follows in the serie Road to Avonlea. Why didn't see act in that serie?
Because it wasn't about Anne, it was about the town of Avonlea and the people in it! Anne and Gilbert had gotten together and moved on during the time frame of Avonlea....Road to Avonlea's storyline basically paralleled Anne and Gilbert's life but separately......
I wish Sullivan would film Roses Have Thorns by Beverley Hughesdon.

Character-wise, I empathise with the eponymous heroine, Anne; and also Ruby Gillis, the most hysterical member of her class.

i loved the first two movies..even if i didnt see em right when they aired on tv. the third and fourth were ok, but i just cant understand why they didnt follow the books an stay true to the story. i mean....so much is missing from each part. it would've made a better tv series an hour long instead of movies...maybe. and the Morgan guy from part 2 was totally original. thats what i hate about hollywood sometimes..they completely FK up great classic books when they adapt them for the big screen. Megan isnt that old, if she ever wanted to do another round of Anne movies..and do it right maybe.
