    Thanks Justin. Without this I wouldn’t have had the confidence to cut my blinds and fit them. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for the video. Having just bought my first day & night blind, too big for the window, cannot be cut to size it stated. Well I followed the instructions on this video thoroughly, 3 hours later (I am a 40Yr old female and not great with DIY) with perseverance and some swearing, I am so proud I did it!! It looks amazing!

    Thanks Justin, I needed a refresher on how to remove the blinds from washing, your video clearly showed the clip-on brackets, got it. It's been years since they were up. Cheers George

    Looks great. How did the blind get put back into the top to roll back on itself...? And would help to see the bracket fixings along the top. Maybe next time? Thanks

    • @JBTV
      @JBTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't remove the blind from the back, only undid the roller part and rolled it out, cut it, then rolled it back up and reconnected the roller section 👍

    This is such a brilliant tutorial. I just bought 8 blinds D&N blinds from Dunelm, I was so disheartened when I read you can't cut to size. This video has given me hope I am going to practice with the smaller and cheapest blind. Do you have any other tips for me ?

    • @MartynDews
      @MartynDews 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was in exactly the same situation. I bought the exact same blind from Dunelm assuming it could be cut to size only to read the instructions and find there was no mention of how to cut to size. I was about to pack it up and take it back before I came across this excellent video. So I'm going to give it a go. Thanks JB! 👌

    Thank you! How do you remove the blind from these clips please? I've given mine a wiggle, but afraid of breaking something. Wondering if I should get a bladed screwdriver to lever out the plastic tab which retracted when I clipped them on?

      I had a similar problem a few years ago with a standard roller blind, meaning the end of the roll tapered. It was because the top of the window opening wasnt level. A couple of washers as spacers at one end solved the problem.

    Hi I'm having a real problem trying to get the blind installed. I get the front bit on but then can get it to clip into the back? The way you've shown it, it looks so simple. Yours just clipped in easily

    Hello mate could you tell me, they all fit upwards, but you said you drilled into plasterboard, in my house ive got steel lintels. Bugger to drill into. Any tips on that?

    • @JBTV
      @JBTV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it's fixed upward. My walls are dry lined, but a lintel is tough. A purpose hammer drill (not a combi drill) should eat through it with a good bit in it.

    Hi there, I wonder if you could help me?. I bought the exact same blind from Dunelm in Grey, followed everything in your video to help me get it right. All went great - THANK YOU, but an issue of the blind going all the way to the top without the blind starting to bunch up is a problem. I would send you a video of what's happening if you like so you could help better?..

  • @IndieChic

    Can they be fitted to the front of the window to avoid cutting it down ? I've found one of these on marketplace but it's a few cm too long to fit it inside the window like you have.
    Can it go so it would drop down to the front of the sill?

    Hi Justin great video 😊
    Do you have the outside of the roller towards the window or towards the room?
    Also when you get to the bottom i would like mine to be the same as yours in night time and is there a way to adjust it the blind is rolled to the bottom and its day time or does it just depend on the drop of the window
    Thank you

    • @JBTV
      @JBTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, thanks a lot. I have mine back to front to maximise window sill space, but unlike standard blinds it doesn't look much different which way you have it. Yes it does depend on the drop of the window, but the blind length doesn't change massively when adjusting from night to day. Hope this helps. JB
