It was on constant replay.. then RV just bulldozed it's way in there now I am on SNSD +RV replay. . can't wait for F (x) cos I am now 100% sure that I'll be blown away. f(x) has always been the female version of SHINee. They're know as their sister group. Sadly they seem to be pushed aside by the company and now fans. Nothing against Red Velvet, (I actually like Joy because of wgm lol) but to me f(x) will always hold that title.
SM does have this sibling model on their groups. You can see groups that come out as siblings have similar musical color and images. For instance DBSK and CSJH are powerhouse, SJ and SNSD are all around entertainers, SHINee and F(x) are experimental, EXO is actually a twins model at first with K and M. If anything, the next boy group SM come out with should be the male version of Red Velvet. I'm an SM stan so it really hurts to see f(x) fan and RV fan arguing over this title.

When I first got into kpop I was all about this concept thing but it feels like now the only company that really pays special attention to concepts is SM. I feel like top media used to do really well with teen top's concepts especially, to you, be ma girl and rocking but after rocking their concepts kinda lost their originality at bit. You just don't get hat huge amount of existence not from watching the mv anymore. That's actually something I've been thinking about a lot lately, how I wish top med would do something about teen top's concepts !! Also kpop concepts used to be more diverse than they are now. Now they're mostly not that original.

I don't have any more room for girl group bias...however I can definitely say I have a lot of Joy for Park Sooyoung. =P
I'll give SM this, when they want to make something work with a group, they make it f*ckin' work. My main gripe is that they let such amazing artists with infinite potential slide off the kpop map (i'm talking about you Zhang Li Yin, CSJH the Grace & many more). I know it's almost impossible with the sheer number of artists they have on their line up, not to mention actors & trainees they have, but if you keep putting people on the back burner expect them to push their way out. Not to mention wouldn't it be more logical and business savvy to spend more time on artists you have already invested in than to create/push out even more groups to saturate the market and your pool of artists. Putting all that aside, I can appreciate what they have done with Red Velvet (their progress and concept for this current MV) even if I am not the biggest fan of SM or Red Velvet at the moment. Still, I have been burned too many times by SM to put them on my company stan list (will always be heated about TVXQ).
