This son is definitely more Rock than Metal - but none the worse for that - just showcases their versatility . BTW - these are their new " permanent " stage outfits - if they wore bin bags they'd still look FABULOUS !
Welcome back to Lovebites ! This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of AOR/heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solo. "Unchained" is the opening track of their new EP "Lovebites EP II" which contains 5 new songs and the other 4 tracks are "Soul Defender" (MV}, "Where's Identity" (audio only), "The Bell in the Jail" (audio only), and "Someone's Dream" (audio only). All the 5 songs are awesome and very different, and you can find them on their official YT channel.
Thank you for checking this out. I'm surprised you missed the soul/R&B feel to this song. Miyako wrote it and clearly was aiming to bring out Asami's background in soul music. The choruses are right out of a gospel revival, including Asami's body language. I just saw them in SF and decided to record one song. I chose this one. Here is the link, for any of your viewer who are interested. We were very close to the stage! th-cam.com/video/vE0Nx8f97bg/w-d-xo.html
Awesome! You guys are on the money when you said it's a more mainstream sound, they have a few songs like this but this one feels like it leans more on that! I really enjoy this one, it's fun and catchy and still has that Lovebites feel both in the way it's written and as always the trademark solo section!! 🔥 I have to say the new EP is fantastic, every song has a completely different vibe, from more catchy song like this to brutal thrash metal!! It's Lovebites after all! 🤘😊🔥Thanks guys!
Thanks guys for continuing to support Lovebites. As others have mentioned, this song is a bit of a throwback tribute to Don't Bite the Dust from the first Lovebites EP, including the red silhouette backdrop shots, but with a fresh approach. It also has a similar energy level, great for crowd participation. Lovebites have announced a visit to Mexico next year, possibly with another North America mini tour, like the one just concluded. I still hold out hope that they will get to Australia, that would be a not to be missed event! 🤗🇦🇺
I saw Lovebites in their US debut at ProgPower in Atlanta last week. This was the only song from the new EP that they played, and I am glad they did. It is a great live song that allows the crowd to join in. I attended the last 3 days of the 4 day festival and the power metal bands were the most energetic on stage, especially Lovebites, Twilight Force and Frozen Crown. Twilight Force is a bit over the top for me but I became more of a fan of Frozen Crown with their rare 3 lead guitar attack. In my opinion, Lovebites was the highlight of the festival (followed by Soen and the amazing Damien Wilson). By the end of their set, Asami had the entire crowd in the palm of her hand. The line for the Lovebites meet and greet was very, very long. I believe they had Lovebites get to their table early to make sure everyone in line could see them. The venue also decided to prohibit pictures and reduced the number of items for signature to only one (I only had one anyway). Asami was not at the table, unfortunately. My understanding is that jet lag hit her harder than the rest. The meet and greet became more of a conveyor belt than normal, but I was able to talk to each one (even made Miyako laugh). They also liked my Deep Purple tour t-shirt that I was wearing. It was a great festival and the four bands I had looked forward to the most, all hit it out of the park (Lovebites, Nospun, Soen and Dark Tranquility).
I haven’t checked your Lovebites playlist , but if you haven’t heard Don’t Bite The Dust (one of their first songs)and Golden Destination , this is like version 2.0
I would say its a large difference. Thats the first Song being real Comercial. I love it and they need a song that could be played on Radio and TV. Fami brings more and more freshness to Lovebites. Have you ever seen Miyako dancing and jumping before? They all look more and more relaxed. Watching the Europe and US Tour, this will be there Year. Playing at small stages wasnt the best Idea in my opinion but i am shure in latest 2 Years they play on Stages with 5k+ Fans. The whole EP II brings a new style but you will regocnize that this is Lovebites
Absolutely agree it's almost is if they are trying to catch a wider audience. Taken from their latest e.p. on which the other songs have more in the way of what you expect from the ladies and also some other experimental sound. Awesome as ever . Great reaction
A fun song with a great hook in the chorus. You guys should check out the songs from the new EP that weren't made into videos. For me, the best two songs on the EP are "Where's Identity?"(an amazing thrash song with some Megadeth vibes) and "The Bell in the Jail" (a classic heavy metal song with a very heavy, almost Pantera/early Metallica like introduction).
Thank you for your reaction to ❤LOVEBITES❤.😄 Very nice reaction and impression.👍🤗 Thank you for carefully understanding the lyrics.👍🙏 Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES.🙏 I believe your analysis and sensibilities towards the lyrics of Japanese bands are born out of the 🇯🇵Japanese national character nurtured by the Japanese educational curriculum and home education.🤗 P.S. The melody🎶, length⏱️, and the rumbling bass guitar🎸 make this a killer song that's perfect for ❤️LOVEBITES❤️ to land in US!🎉💯🏹🇺🇸 I think this song also serves as a radio📻 airplay strategy in the United States. The length⏱️ of the song also fits the bill. ⭐はるぴー⭐ is cute and cool!
This song off their new EP; "LOVEBITES EP II"; is the first LOVEBITES recording that Fami was involved in the writing process. Judgement Day had already been written so on that album Fami just played what was already written.
Great reaction as usual! A Banger for sure. "Don't Bite The Dust" has been mentioned I believe that songs like "Dancing With The Devil" and maybe "Raise Some Hell" have a bit of the same vibe or style as well, just a bit of party and let loose which also is evident when they play thoose songs Live.
"Don`t think, Feel" not a message I agree with, in my world "Think first and then Feel" ❤ But the rest and the song are great, and great reaction. 👍 to you and the channel. Greeting from Denmark.
This is the first song of their new EP (Lovebites EP II); the other four songs are much faster and heavier than this: Check out "Soul defender" OMV and the amazing "Where's identity" (only audio). Thanks for your reactions.
There are 5 new songs in the new EP. Some thrash others genres too. As usual, they create various genres of metal. This track is the same vibe as Don't Bite The Dust, more to hard/pop rock. Check it out. Thanks guys 👍🤘
LOVEBITES - Unchained lyrics: Open your eyes and you can see place you’ve imagined for so long High above, it’s there, accelerating heartbeat Get ready, ready, set, go Somewhere in this unclear day, you & I we all know this for sure Reaching out to catching the ticket to this one way road journey Nothing is there without meaning No going back, it’s always one chance in your life Don’t beg for another chance! The grey-out world will start to colour Don’t think, feel!! Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want The future we dreamed of is waiting far beyond Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want This beat of my heart as a guidance, finding signal of blaze light Heading straight no matter how the track is steep and narrow, moving on Everything has its “meant to be” There’s no impossible for us as long as if you believe in me We will shine like nobody else Don’t think, feel!! You can create your own reaction channel, then you can only do LOVEBITES reactions, wear a LOVEBITES t-shirt and not mention any other band. It would certainly be limited and boring like your many comments 🥱😆

Enjoy!
kind of like when Iron Maiden the song Wasted Years was more radio friendly
You should listen to their song MV SOUL DEFENDER. from the same EP2.
This son is definitely more Rock than Metal - but none the worse for that - just showcases their versatility .
BTW - these are their new " permanent " stage outfits - if they wore bin bags they'd still look FABULOUS !
At this point I'm just convinced they're the best band ever. What else can you say. Love em.
Yes hair metal/hard rock vibe of Ladies.
I agree, this one has a more "commercial" feel about it. No complaints from me. I hope to hear them on the rock radio channels one day.

The folks of Wolfpack say it's got some Don't Bite The Dust vibe which is their first MV.

SU-METAL is always right. Don't think, feel!
Still not a big fan of this one, the good thing is that the rest four songs of the new EP is more or less epic with Where,s Identity nearly up on SSS hights
Problem with LOVEBITES is they did not have almost naked "floorgasm" as "nightwish" (smalll letters).
You can create your own reaction channel, then you can only do LOVEBITES reactions,

Lovebites would be great if they got rid of their singer I got somebody who was actually a metal singer and not more operatic
Asami is one of 5 reasons, why LOVEBITES is not just the usual boring Metal! Not negotiable!
