Learn the round head/face on a shih tzu from master dog groomer, Danna Alexander, owner of Prestige Dog Grooming School Faces mini course: groomingschool.samcart.com/re...
I'm working as a bather atm but will be making the steps to get trained to become a groomer. Thank you for your video. Very easy to understand. If you have any tips for someone just starting out in this business what would it be?
I’ve been “trying” to groom my dogs for years and have seen SO many tutorials. This is the absolute best one I’ve ever watched. Thank you for your explanations and expertise.
I am learning about grooming, paid a lot of money on this academy in San Diego and they have never taught us like that, the teacher only let their instructors to help us but they don’t know how to explain very well, and i am still don’t know how to do a teddy bear head after 8 days of being there. Thanks for teaching us, i am learning because of you.
Ma'am, you are a GENIUS. Thank you for validating my want/need to clipper a face to save time. I'm OBSESSED with your technique to round out the entire face 😍
Such a great video! I’ve been looking for exactly this. You are a great teacher, and do a beautiful job. One thing that is difficult with these video’s is we need a closer view to see closer exactly what is being gone to the eye, bridge of nose, and snout. Your description is wonderful but I do wish the videographer could either zoom in or simply get closer to you and show us the actual scissoring up close. It’s especially hard to see with black fur. I hope you do a repeat some day and have your camera closer and maybe better lighting would help? I’m going to look at your other videos to see if I can see better with another lesson. Thank you sooo very much for these instructional videos! ❤
I'm going through the Paragon online school program and would not be where I am right now without your videos. You are an absolute amazing teacher and I thank you with all my heart for making these videos. You've really taken something so overwhelming for someone like me and broke it down in to easier to follow steps.
im doing paragon in 2 weeks, what should i learn before i start? ive had 3 yrs of experience from being a dog groomer’s assistant so i know how to use shears and hold them, as well as shaving the body. what would you say is the most vital to learn and memorize? thank you so much!!
Hello! I’m in grooming school for about 12 month.. and I just want to say your teaching is amazing 🤩 I’ve learned more here then the tow month I’ve been in school. Thank you 🙏
After watching multiple videos to try and troubleshoot why I was struggling so much with round faces, you helped me realise I’m clipping too much off the faces and not leaving enough cheek hair! Very good tutorial, especially for beginners like me!
My havanese looks just like this one. I love the definition in the legs. Very sharp cut. I’d love how to perfect the legs like this. Amazing tutorial. I understand what you meant about the schnauzer look. That’s what I’ve been doing wrong. Thank you!!❤
So today I followed this whilst I was grooming step by step and I can’t thank you enough the difference it made to my heads it looked amazing - love your tips & tricks, you are by the far dog groomer teacher out there and I’ve been following a few, your explanations are easy to understand and you show it step by step, keep these videos coming X
Hey Dana - thank you for taking the time and effort to product this excellent, easy to follow, way to groom the round face - your methods and technique create a great finish. Appreciate your handling tips throughout the video, i.e. the way you hold the face while grooming, etc. Thanks again for your great presentation.
Best Teacher-Groomer on You Tube!! THANKS! Can you provide a link to the sellers of the curved thinner shears? Having no luck searching for Sassy Dog curved thinners from the U.S. net. You are inspirational and make me strive harder...again most Sincere, THANK YOU!
I Just found you and subscribed! I am in school but getting very little face time with no scissor time. I am leaning a lot from you. Thank you for this video.
I love your high quality work. After 18 years I'm still working on my timing. I'm stuck at 1.5 hours for a dog like this for everything straight through, no pokies ;) How long do you take if you don't mind my asking?
Depending on the breed and style, i can finish a dog that comes in on a regular basis in 30-45 min when i have a bather. You are doing good at 1.5 hr per dog.
I have developed my own line of clippers and other products. Here's a link for you to explore. groomingschool.samcart.com/products/prestigenewproductsline

Where are you? I don’t like to take her to the groomers anymore because they butcher her hair. This must be much more difficult than you make it look.
I subscribed and liked your channel so connect me because I need a hair cut like that dog. 😛
