I got one, simple yes, quality 80%, low maintenance yes, no not 40k. Even with options still under. But mine feel like it either built on a Monday or a Friday quality 😂
@@yzfr1too it’s really important to me that you elaborate. I thought quality was top notch with whalers. Please cite specific areas that have spotty quality. Cause I’m saving up for a 160 SS with a 90 merc. This would be a big favor , you know first hand , so your opinion, observations matter. Thanks man.
@@misterpsych3804 stainless rub rail uneven line up. Countersink screws not in place. Some I don’t want to go on n on. But my bayliner I bought on Facebook market seem to have better finish then my new 2022 16ss.
I have 2019 BW 160SS. Quality, fit and finish is top notch. The layout is great for two, good for four and ok for 5-6 adults. I’ve Ski’d behind it at 230lb it’s not a proper ski boat but 90hp motor pulls hard, especially for a sub 1ton boat. I paid 20k as a second owner in 2020 and have seen cost increase substantially since. She fits in the garage and draft of less than 1’ is great for backwater rivers and springs while retaining small bay boat capability. I couldn’t be happier with my little Whaler 160ss
that boat with those options is literally 38 to 39k WITH A TRAILER, Freight/Prep, registration etc. I just bought one with MORE options than this and mine was 42k with all that. Also BW is offering 4k off right now which would if I bought it later than earlier like I did would bring me to 38k.
I have the 130 SP and like it so much I wanna get the 160!

Nothing NOT to like about this boat but the price. This boat is $65K outfitted as show. Definitely not for Alabama residents.
We have not seen them that high, not sure what the dealer put on them. We have 160s in stock for well under 40k equipped the same way.
