We lived in Rhyl street in the early 1960s, my mam, dad and brother. Those times were amoungst the happyess moments of my life..would love to go back!!!
Great video of times gone by when everyone in the area looked out for each other and a community spirit that has long gone replaced by an I'm all right Jack attitude
Good effort. I moved out in about 69 or 70 over to new flats near the precinct. Whit lane was named after the 'Whitters'. Believe it or not, they used to lay out fabric in the fields there for the sun to bleach. Productivity must have been poor I reckon :)
No one has commented on this since it was uploaded just over 6 years ago-wtf?!My mum lived just off Whit Lane-Gill Street. All 2 up,2 down terraced houses.Anyone on here remember that street/area,when she would have been growing up-late 40's on wards?x
