Enjoyed your reaction. ❤If you are trying to understand the video sometimes you have to watch their intros or album previews for context. They also have a lot of lore mixed into their videos that only Stays who've seen every m/v & other content might understand so dont feel bad. There are references to One Piece and the Dark Knight batman movie on purpose, they are big movie fans & anime fans. The 4 scenes represent 4 emotions within the child (anger, happiness, sorrow, joy/pleasure) (they reference the animated movie inside out in an interview this is similar). The child is battling stage fright aka the monsters that fade away. Basically the message is to just let all those other emotions disappear and enjoy yourself aka Joy/pleasure winning over the other emotions battling inside the child. There is a lot of play on korean words & Chinese characters (hence the rock/ lock sounds u keep hearing) in the lyrics of this one. If you watch YT team Andy & Jas they speak fluent korean and they do an amazing breakdown of their lyrics, the word play & korean cultural references which helps A Lot!!! Bang Chan is the genius behind most of their beats includingthis one, I prefer to refer to him as a modern day Mozart cause he blends genres effortlessly and finds beats you never new existed. This SKZ comeback is killing me and I'm here for it, as one of my wreckers aka Han ( I tried to keep him on a tight leash but he broke from it lol) has joined my other two biases Felix and Hyunjin (now i have 3) and my wreckers wrecker Lee Know has joined Changbin as a wrecker.
I am in love with the pirate\purge theme throughout the MV as its more like they are trying to show people no matter what they wont change as they give people like me hope that we can just be who we are.
the lyrics are also amazing as ever as I had ever since the teaser, lalalala la lalalala stuck in my head when I wake up and wen I go to sleep. The beat is also super catchy as its a beat that's the type to get you hyped up and ready for anything.
On a side note i love Han wearing the clown mask as I could tell it was him just by looking at his eyes. also I just wanted to say i love the choreo and learning it myself and i also love the rapping and vocals in the song aswell. also i love the rock sound as if it wasnt for kpop i wouldnt be into rock type music at all and talking bout the music i love the drums and the guitars also i love how chaotic but natural it all looks.
