    I’m using these gaia III’s in my soul supremes and undertone mk2 sub. A significant improvement in sound staging. I was able to raise the front feet 3mm for a slight upward firing of the speakers which worked better in my room. And the isolation of these are quite amazing. I heard them demonstrated first at 2017 RMAF Denver.

    They are excellent. Bass is tighter and more ample, speakers disappear in some songs before they never did, soundstage is much better and stereo focus goes right to the middle like a laser. Sounds like room is treated!

    I was told by Isoacoustics that if your speakers are within 10% of the maximum recommended weight you should go up to the next set. In my case I'm using Gaia II's on my Kef Reference 1's. Worth every penny.

    WOW. I a week ago I placed OREA Indiogo’s under my turntable. I figured I would try one of ISOaccustic less pricey products before I got the GAIA II for my speakers. The OEEAs under my turntable made a fantastic improvement; clarity, stage width and depth subtle nuances that bring the music to life. I thought I heard brushes on drums before but now WOW. After that I had to get the GAIAs plus some OREAs sized for my Tube phono preamp. I made these changes a couple of days ago. Again improvements!!! I will be placing IsoAcoustics under the rest of my equipment as fund become available. I also recommend these if you can afford them

    I added the IsoAcoustics Gaia II to my speakers after watching your review on the product, and couldn't be more please the performance results.
    When I installed them initially, I couldn't adjust the rake of the speakers to get the voice above 57 inches. I called IsoAcoustics to see if they had longer studs, which they did not. But, they ran a batch of studs 1 inch longer and sent me replacements for just the cost of shipping.

    I think its been generally reconized that spikes are not the best approach as once thought. I have Stillpoints which really work but I am going to try these as well. I think the price is very reasonable & I don't neccessaraly believe you have to spend ridiculous money to get effective isolation. I thought the Stillpoints were expensive but I was watching AV Showrooms push some feet that I believe were like 5,000.00 for a set of 4, at that point my eyes rolled back in my head & thought how absurd. I am always a bit suspicious of the whole accessory thing but I have seen dramatic results with products like these & I know you can hear so can't wait to give them a go Thanks for the tip, be well!!!!

  • @thecarman3693

    These actually work, and work well. I have a set (3 per speaker) under my B&W 801 Matrix Series II's and the difference is quite real. Without getting into the details I'll just say that the principle behind them is to minimize front-to-rear cabinet vibrations. That's why you must align the wording on the pucks. It is far easier by hand to try and rock the speakers left-to-right as opposed to front-to-back when using them. Both movements are minimal, but the front-to-back is much harder to achieve. It's almost impossible to do it even slightly. This makes a lot of sense since cone movement in most speakers is front-to-back, and cabinet movement in that orientation can both add and detract from the drivers' cones. This can cause smearing, loss of detail and bass. Are they for everyone ... ???? It depends. Is your system's level of resolution able to make use of such a tweak? I know in my case it did improve the sound, but I also know that won't be the case for every system out there.
    Thank you for the video (and all your others).

But I was wondering if I can get more from them with these. More bass and soundstage. I also have the option to put everything on wooden floor and pull the carpet just in front of them. So, do you really recommend these and on what surface they work the best? By the way,I have a large long living room. 60-70sqm. Thank you!

    If I mount the Gaia II on 19Kg loudspeakers each (KEF C95 from 1989), in the perspective of changing loudspeakers weighing more than 32Kg but less than 54Kg (QUAD ESL2812 or 2912) in the future, are the Gaia II as good as the Gaia III?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They must fit in the weight range otherwise they don't work properly. Gaia II between 55 and 32kg, Gaia III between 32 and I would say half of that.

    • @giovannibaietti2384
      @giovannibaietti2384 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anadialog : I think that the spring works better in the intermediate point, and therefore you are right. However the Isoacoustics answer : "Great question! Though the GAIA III would be ideal, if you are planning to upgrade in the future, the GAIA II is a great choice and one I would recommend you stick with ! " And still: "Though we do not have an optimum operating range for the GAIA, we do advise clients to keep in mind that overloading your isolators is MUCH worse than underloading them. That being said, the GAIA’s perform best at 50% to 80% of their weight capacity. This is why we typically recommend the GAIA III as it meets that criteria. However, the difference you will feel is not substantial enough to discredit the use of the GAIA II, especially if you plan to upgrade in the future."

    So please explain the science behind this to lend the product credibility among the audiophile community?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Explain tye science? Decoupling solutions have been used for decades in hi-fi but also delicate electronics in air and space crafts for example. It ia very simple. I did not explain it because it is something most people know ans understand. In any case, when the speaker drivers move up and down they produce music but that energy also becomes vibrations. Also external vibrations may affect the loudspeakers. Hence, if you use o well engineered isolation foot, as for most of the gear in hi-fi, you will suddenly have a much more precise signal. Spikes are good but rigid, isolators decouple from the floor and work together with the speaker, damping the vibrations.

    Are they better than my feet ? give them a go I don't think there's good as my feet.
    You need five squash balls ideally each speaker 4 is generally not good enough it is always best to use 5 especially on larger speakers you want acoustically damp the centre of the bottom of the speaker. A big syringe or small funnel and some buffalo tungsten powder c80, probably is the best to use it's cheaper than some of the other grades but is highly dense, tungsten powder is 50% more denser than lead. Feel the squash balls equal amounts to the top. Cut a T shape so you can get the syringe or small funnel in, make the cut perfect cut Super Glue back together, place the tungsten balls on a bit of Blu-Tack helps with a bit more isolation and and makes it easier to set up. don't really move around but just easier. They work perfect on turntables and speakers and I think valve gear but not had any experience, anybody try them on valve gear let me know.
    You could put a bolt in and Super Glue that in so you could screw them in but you still need one in the centre four speakers and turntables. oh and turntables feel them three quarters of the way not to the top. A syringes best for this cause you can get the perfect measurement. And when filling make sure the balls are compressed in your hand so all air is removed before filling.
    There's nothing really better than tungsten powder you might say lead but that's hazardous to use so I've not tried lead powder advise against it tungsten powder is 100% safe
    The oxygen content of the tungsten is very low as well what even helps

    I get a very "sponsored" product placement vibe, like a TV shopping network channel. I am pretty sure speakers made by good companies where some of them have done audio research for 50 years and still doing so, make products that are so badly constructed in technology that a set of cheap external isolators in comparison changes the basic sound. In this case the physical parts of the speakers have to transform and bend shape to make that difference he is talking about. Wow, what a wonderful set of magic isolators. We should all just buy 30 dollar speakers and put these isolators underneath. Sorry, but this video was totally exaggerated.

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sorry you got this impression. I absolutely get zero, nada, zip, nothing from this video from Isoacoustics or others. No sponsors no nothing. I was just blown away how these babies let quality speakers express their full potential. Vibrations and decoupling are very important and in turntables and speakers IMO they are paramount. Before judging the book from the cover you should read it!

    During Easter I always place my speakers on four eggs each. It's amazing. The low frequencies bend around the eggs in a way they make my subwoofer useless. When I play Rammstein everything opens up. So we clean the floor and place some new eggs. Boiling them made the sound even more stable.

    The price is so right! Even the Chinese won't be able to copy 8 bolts and 8 rubber rings for €500,00! :) :)

    Waste of maney. For Focal kantas we need to buy separate screws wich is costing extra $100 australian. After spending $900 australian, now they ask $100 for screws.

      If you love my show you should have some faith, if you haven't tried these. I have changed countless types of feet, spikes, bearings, damping gizmos etc. This is the only one that truly elevated the sound of my speakers a whole lot. The stage just opened and sounds where much more into focus. Read also the feedback of other people. Try then tell me!

    For whatever reason, your voice recording is distorted on this video... not a great look for someone reviewing high end audio equipment.

      Yes, sorry about that. The recorder had the gain increased by mistake. As you said, fortunately, in THIS video. In the other 125 it happen, I think, only one or two other times.

    In addition, you need to replace the protection fuses in all electronic devices, for others in gold, at + - 60$ each, then the sound will be out of this world !!!! ehehehe, it's only about 800$, very cheap !!! but what a sound .....

      Where can I buy these fuses? I always wondered why I have golden speaker cables combined with ordinary steel fuses.
