8:28 Are you serious? She is saying that they opened and dumped out 2 cans of beans, i.e. wasting them, so that they could use the cans for mugs to put the heated river water in them and mix it with chocolate (mix) and milk to make hot chocolate, but in their excitement they forgot that they don't have milk. I know it's really stupid dialogue, but it's a Hal Needham movie ... Please tell me you were not serious. 😂

That bike dance to "Send Me an Angel" is part of the reason I recorded this movie on VHS and (I think) still have it somewhere. Years later, I bought Send Me An Angel on iTunes and rock out to it every now and then. Excellent content as usual. Why was I so late in finding your channel?

I absolutely loved this movie when I was a kid, I must have watched it 50 times, I recently went looking for it to show my daughters and was bummed to find that it was not on Blu-ray or DVD, but I did show it to them on You Tube, and now they love it. Great look at it, I had no clue this was filmed in Canada. Always informative, thanks again.

A couple of friends of mine and I had a BMX freestyle team in the late 80s that we named Team Rad after the team in the movie. We actually were the underdogs in our town when we were competing against the team sponsored by a local bike shop. We even got to meet several of the riders that did the stunts in this movie as well (Eddie Fiola and Woody Itson in particular).

For a film considered by some to be what "The Wizard" was to video games, a 90 minute commercial for a product, this movie was actually good story wise. It also featured quite a few familiar names such as Talia Shire and Mr. Hand himself, Ray Walston!

This is years old, but my guess is that he emptied out two cans of beans to use as cups for hot chocolate, but he used river water instead of fresh water, and there wasn't even any milk, so wasting the beans was silly, since why would you want terrible hot chocolate with no milk, made with dirty river water? :)

What the hell? Am I the only one that lives by a drug store that has porn mags on display? Well, they got those black square pieces of acrylic plastic in front but those are always a few inches smaller than the magazines so you pretty much see 20% of the cover anyways, and you didn't HAVE to be 18 to see them just as long as you weren't like 10 y/o the guy was cool with you taking a look... oh yeah, you couldn't be drooling on the mags or playing pocket pool while you gave them a once over... OR, or seriously eye humping the mags for an hour either.

Although I loved this movie as a kid (after growing out of Breakin' 1 and 2), I was into skateboarding so it was Thrashin' (notice the similarity with Breakin') that caught my heart. It starred a young Josh Brolin. From Karate Kid to Gleaming the Cube, I loved all those underdog films. The formula works with anything. I'd love to see one done on Sumo, competitive entomology, or a Harry Potter spoof.

Rad definitely a rad movie but you referenced "Cool as Ice". you gotta do this movie! My favorite. So here's another rhyme to break the ice, you couldn't purchase my talent at any price. Don't chase a Roni cause you know that I can get'em, I'm not the type so I don't even sweat'em, I'll love a girl then diss the same one, cause you know that there's more where that came from. awwww yeah!

I agree with how awesome that montage song is. Bill Wray needs more credit for all the great work he did.
