I was disappointed when I heard that Heath Ledger died. The only movies I watched about Heath Ledger were The Dark Knight (2008) and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009). I really LOVED The Dark Knight so much, because Ledger had just wrapped up that film before filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Ledger could've been 29 years old when The Dark Knight was released in July 2008, and Ledger would've been 30 years old when The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was released in 2009.

According to the coroner's report from Hong Kong, he was declared dead from "misadventure." He was given Duragesic as a pain pill to treat a back injury after doing "Good Mornings" with WAY too much weight. Lee ended up being allergic to Meprobamate (an element in Duragesic,) and died from a cerebral edema. Truly sad, as he was at the apex of his career and his Jeet Kun Do, his own version of martial arts. RIP.

People can learn alot from this, but the most known topics addressed were "substance abuse, heart attacks, and struggles with weight". Yes, accidents on sets as well as in life itself can and will happen, but things like alcohol and drug abuse that can impact a person's life even more can be greatly avoided. Its a shame when good people like these and many others pass on this way. Thanks for the video.

0:12 Didn't he die from Speedball overdose? I think clogged arteries were also a factor. I heard about Chris Farley's death from my friend even though he died several years ago by that point. I'm not sure why they didn't get someone else to finish Chris Farley's lines in Shrek. Mike Myers did do a better job though. Paul Walker died in a car crash? How ironic. He died as he lived. 18:17 You couldn't ask for a better movie to end your career on. He also died as he lived. 21:26 Good thing this was a fantasy movie or this movie may have been canceled.

She died AFTER filming the last Poltergeist movie. She got violently ill due to a combination of an intestinal infection and an undiagnosed intestinal birth defect that caused a bowel obstruction, her swollen and twisted intestines then ruptured, and she was rushed to surgery and died on the operating table. That was a horrible and violent death, but completely due to nature instead of man made causes.

These names I knew very well but the one I loved the most was Steve Irwin, I was only 5 years old when he passed away, the first time I ever saw him was on an episode of The Crocodile Hunter, then later on an episode of The Wiggles and I was so inspired by him and his love for wild animals no matter how dangerous or snappy they were and I would laugh every time he tackled and fought with them until they listened. When I heard about his death from my mother and father both, I was probably crying for at least 2 days. I never had any hate towards any the film crew who were with him that day, he clearly messed with an animal that he probably shouldn’t have messed with. It warmed my heart hearing his 2 kids, Robert and Bindi both decided to keep their fathers legacy alive and are working with wild animals themselves. May all these beloved souls be with God and RIP ❤️🙏🕊

Probably the most tragic case is of Brazilian actress Daniella Perez who was murdered by her own co-worker
and on-screen parter Guilherme de Pádua (and oddly enough it seems he was accidentally cast for the show,
apparently his role was meant for other actor) and his wife Paula Thomaz (who was four months pregnant at the
time) during the filming of the soap opera "De Corpo e Alma" (In Body and Soul). Apparently Pádua was
growing worried that his character's role in the show was diminishing, and for some time he tried to convince
Daniella to talk to her mother Glória (who was the writer of the show) into giving him a more prominent role,
but it seems nothing come from that and the week prior to the murder he found out that his character only was going to
be featured in 3 of the 5 of that week's episodes, and this seems to be what made Pádua come to the decision of
getting rid of Daniella, as he believed she talked negatively about him to her mother. And so, on December 28th,
1992 Pádua would leave filming early and went back to his apartment to pick up his wife, who he was able to
easily convince her to join him in the act by claiming that Daniella was hitting on him (after all Paula Thomaz
was known for being the jealous type and by having altercations with other women in the past), a blanket and
pillow so she could hide in the car and he returned to the studio where he filmed the remaining scenes he had
that night. Then, when filming warped and everyone was going back home, Pádua would chase Daniella and
eventually ambushed her in a near by gas station, as she needed to refuel her car, he quickly blocked her car and
as they left their respective vehicles he immediately punched her in the face leaving her dazed and quickly put
her in his car, now with Paula behind the wheel, while Pádua took Daniella's car. From there they took her to a
nearby wasteland here she would be stabbed 18 times in between her neck, lungs and heart, she was only 22.
The whole country was in shock once news broke out.
During the trials that followed Pádua,s and Thomaz's marriage came to and end when he tried to shift the blame
to his wife, in the end both would be sentenced to 19 years in jail, however they would end up only serving 6 years
and got released in 1999, this of course caused indignation among the people as everyone were angry about them
being released so early and eventually things would lead to change in the law and heavier sentences would start
to be given to this type of cases.
The show would suffer changes because of what happened: With Glória Perez no longer in condition to continue
on as the writer, she would end up replaced with 3 new writers; Daniella's character was written off by having
her go study overseas and the final moments of the last episode would be dedicated to Daniella; Pádua's character
would end up completely erased off the the remaining of the show, which also included the deletion of his
scenes in episodes tapped before the murder and that were yet to be broadcast.
Eventually Glória Perez would ask TV Globo to never reprise this soap opera.

I remember washing dishes watching the news when I heard about heath ledger. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and 2 weeks from my house burning down. Such a sad time. Gone way too soon he was an amazing actor just getting into awesome roles. Wonder where he would be now. How movies would've been different with him as the lead??😢😢😢😢

I don’t know how many of these actually count, since most of them are mere voice actors:
    1. Joe Ranft, who voiced Red in Pixar’s Cars, died in a car crash on August 16, 2005, about 10 months before the film released
    2. George Carlin, who voiced Fillmore on Cars, died on June 22, 2008, 3 years before the release of Cars 2, and was replaced by Lloyd Sherr, although I don’t know if the movie had even entered production when he died
    3. Last one for Cars, Paul Newman as Doc Hudson also died in 2008, although unlike the previous two, he wasn’t recast
    4. Don Rickles, who voiced Mr Potato Head in Toy Story, died in 2017 during production of Toy Story 4, although I’m pretty sure the voice work hadn’t started yet
Now one that most likely does count is Richard Harris, who played Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies, died shortly before the release of the second movie. The role of Dumbledore was then played by Michael Gambon thereafter

Disgusting that no one was held responsible for their recklessness that caused the death of Morrow and those kids. Details on the case are shocking and John Landis' reaction and attitude about it is beyond vile.
